Barcelona is at the top again, leading with just 1 point ahead of Real Madrid, seriously I don’t really need to say much about Barcelona but deep down my favourite club to win this title this season is Barcelona, given that we can’t really say much because they will need to continue winning match to secure their top position and give Real Madrid more gaps on the table.

let’s see what Barcelona will in the next match. They must keep their winning streak and consistency, to make this title of a thing workout this season.

In this season at top, both Real Madrid and Barcelona have balanced performance, currently Barcelona leading by 1 point but remaining 13 rounds can make some difference now Barcelona is going to host Villarreal, this could be interesting game after this hosting Atlético Madrid for Copa del Rey and visiting Athletic Bilbao can bring some stress.

Real Madrid schedule is also not easy that they have tricky games in upcoming rounds, this can give them stress as well, but they will fight hard for title till last drop of their blood because they have done good job in early half of season, but few poor results make things problematic for them, and now they are also facing consequences as well, but this rivalry is impressive as giving good soccer to watch.

Problem with Barcelona is that last time they lost the title, they sold rights of their income for a next few years so that they could continue, losing hurts Barcelona a lot more, and financially until they are on their new stadium with 100% capacity and making insane amount of money from that, which they hope to, they are not going to be able to recover financially if they end up losing.

Winning the league doesn't even help Barcelona financially. They received only €58 million for winning the league last season, and they will receive an instalment payment of about €20 million this season. That is not money that will make a club like Barcelona okay financially. For context, Liverpool got about £175 million, PSG got €144 million. Bayern and Napoli are the clubs that got less than 100 million, yet they still got more than Barcelona.
Barcelona didnt activat levers becasue they didn't win La Liga; they activated it because they were in a tight spot because of bad financial decisions and strict financial restrictions in La Liga.

And talking about Barcelona generating money, they are only second to Real Madrid in Europe in terms of money generated last season, and this is without their stadium at all. Despite the talk of how they're broke and all, no team in Europe aside from Madrid generates more money than Barcelona.
All you guys need to do is take 10 minutes of your time to read about La Liga's financial rules and fair play rules. They set a cap for how much salary a team can pay, which is usually very low, and no matter how much money you have to buy or pay players, you can't do it; you must stay within the salary cap. This is why the teams in the league sell their high-earning players, who are mostly their good players, to the EPL.

Until the whole league stands up to this bullshit, the league will keep deteriorating and the EPL will continue to dominate. Barcelona has only been able to compete in Europe because they have a good academy and a good manager, but you can still see how limited they are. Villareal wouldn't get a chance to get to the 3rd place if ATM wasn't busy getting distracted with other competitions to take there rightful place. In this season, mostly La Liga teams faced inconsistency which brings some decline in overall performance but Villarreal done good job and have third spot, most chances they will be able to have another season in Champions league, but they need to be improving their performance because they were one of the worst clubs.

Atlético Madrid is doing good job despite having too many engagements in different events, and they can overtake Villarreal for 3rd spot without any challenging performance, but schedule is going to be problem for them, now Copa del Rey and Champions league are having nothing better for them, Betis is also improving which making things interesting.

Zidane won't return because he wants to coach the French national team. I liked Ancelotti when they were coached, but since he's now coaching Brazil, I also doubt he'll return to Real Madrid. Klopp seems more likely right now, I often see this discussed in the news, but it could just be rumors, we will find out at the end of the season in the summer. But I think that if Arbeloa can win La Liga and the Champions League, Real Madrid will sign him.

After Benfica scored the to equalize i wqs beginning to think that the game was about to end in a draw or perhaps Benfica scoring more goals and winning the match but real Madrid managed to score in the second half. Real Madrid showed absolute resilience in this match. Even though Benfica did their best their they weren't really a match for real Madrid because they are in a better form.

It is clearly obvious that Real Madrid are not yet ready for that trophy otherwise how can they manage to get to the top of the Spanish la liga standings and they lost to an almost relegated team, like how can this be imagined? So left with me I'd say Barcelona should win the league again for the second time in a row, because i don't know what is really the problem of this Real Madrid team, in as much as i have always rooted in them to win this league this season i think at this point in time i'm being fedup of this kind of performance i think Barcelona should have it again for the second time.

I also had that trust and hope that Real Madrid would be able to get the La Liga trophy this season, but as things are going now, I don’t think that can be possible. All proof has shown that Barcelona will be dominant this season again. I thought Real Madrid would change it when they made it back to the top, but seeing them lose against Osasuna shocked me. I don’t even know how their game will be today against Benfica in the Champions League. Maybe they will end up losing again; we don’t know. Let’s just wait and see how the game will end up.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have equal chances of winning the La Liga title this season, and even though Barcelona is currently topping Real Madrid by a point, I am not writing Real Madrid off from winning the La Liga title this season because Barcelona could lose their next match in La Liga, and Real Madrid can seize the opportunity and top the La Liga table again.

Arbeloa is only a temporary manager, and his job will only last until the end of this season. Of course, Real Madrid will be looking for an experienced manager next season, and several top coaches are on their radar, but not Zidane, as he only wants to coach the French national team. I hope Real Madrid will hire Jürgen Klopp as manager, as he is a great coach and capable of bringing trophies to the club.
