Well, let's start from the assumption that i don't even take sides, but i have to say that in their current form there would be a good fight, but Barcelona would win, but then we'll have to see in what form they meet, because these players are very skilled and i think they can do a lot, and if they are in form Real Madrid is a great team.

It was pure luck if not am sure they would have lost this game and that is why they could not go beyond a single goal and there is more reason why everything is looking like they were lucky which they are actually are, and I don't see them getting better actually.

Actually, my opinion is completely in line with yours that Barcelona team managed to win this match by drawing but since they are the top position team in the La Liga tournament, they probably won by clearing it in such a way to protect their honor that they played tactically defensively and that is why they kept the score difference low.
Basically, they had nothing in their hands here, but they faced obstacles from Athletic Club's defense, that is the main thing. Before Kylian Mbappe arrived, Real Madrid wasn't doing bad as a team but after he arrived and started carrying on his shoulders, scoring goals and helping them win important games, the team became centered on him, that's why his absence is being felt. As people blame Mbappe, he has scored much by end of season, problem is in uneven team set up and defense that is weak due to high number of injuries. I think mess is caused by middle and defense which is beaten and though Vinicius Junior is blamed on behavior and number of goals, he remains main maker of team with 6 assists in Champions League. Both teams are masters of their own, and there's not much difference between them, but if we look at it generally, we can't say Barcelona is better when it comes to the club's achievements. Almost every team depends on the best players but there are some teams that focus more on team performance. Over time, the style and tactics of the teams are changing. You can see Arsenal for example, they are not dependent on one or two players in the match, they are performing great. They are showing equal skills in the Premier League and Champions League and are at the top of both tournaments.

Real Madrid has become a team that depends on individuals more than team performance because most of the players except Mbappe are not able to play well. The top 4 is logically decided already. This just makes it less fun to follow the La Liga games... However at least the title race is still not over.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have continually gifted themselves the lead on this road. For now Barcelona lead it again but who knows. I can't really be sure of even them despite their amazing goal stats.  

I just believe in Hansi Flick to win the title with his experience against Arbeloa honestly. And their effort so far deserves it more!
