After many months, I probably saw a  perfect gameplay from Real madrid. I was really impressed by real madrid's gameplay. In the match, madrid's best striker Mbappe was not in the squad. Naturally, we considered manchester city as the favorite. But the result was  completely opposite.

Both teams were able to perform well from the beginning of the match. But due to Valverde's incredible good  performance, Manchester city fell behind. I am sure madrid's first goal surprised everyone. Valverde attacked very quickly and was able to score the goal. Valverde scored 3 goals in the first half. Even though mbappe and Bellingham were not in  the squad, madrid secured a big victory due to Valverde's good performance.

If I'm told that Real Madrid was going to do better if the squad was complete and no injuries, I will not believe anyone to see such outcome. Like, it's been long since I see normal Real Madrid play match this way, this is what they do in Champions League but it been long they had it coming and this time they didn't just did it, they did when everyone never expected any better from the team, this is the best form of Real Madrid I have seen this season.

Some people are saying there is second leg and probably there is opportunity for Manchester City to revenge and I wonder if they have learnt something from here. On a regular match, they didn't know where the team will play because I could see the team were all eyes on Vinicious but it turn out that a guy from midfield score 3 goals they never saw coming. Maybe next time, it's going to be from another wing they might not see coming too.

I am not surprised that Real Madrid won in that way but I never expected them to lose at home. They have been struggling with injuries and performance but we know Manchester City are also not in their best form so it's expected. In this tie I expect each team to win their respective games at their home so as Real Madrid has already won at home I believe Manchester City will win as well the only problem now is just that they let Real Madrid win with too much goal margin. Coming back from such defeat is difficult, it will take a lot of efforts to level up in the second leg but even if Manchester City didn't level up they will win the next leg in their home. All teams are stronger at home than away.

The fact that Real Madrid was able to play good and win even with the injuries I am very impressed honestly, it's not every team can win even when their best player Mbappe is not around.

But the most important thing that I still think will be highly needed to actually get a manager been in control of the dressing room is a very strong backing from the Board, because without a clear backing from the top hierarchy the players will definitely be not respectfully because they would think the manager can actually be sent parking any time. But once the board has a clear stand on backing the manager the players will definitely lower their ego

Precisely, it is useless to have someone on the bench who has won ten Champions if, in the first draw or defeat, they are massacred by journalists and fans.

Real Madrid Against Man City performed the Best that they could except vini's penalty but yeah Valverde was fabulous. Scoring a Hatrick at the stage where your team is doubted and predicted to lose is something a player can imagine. Honestly, I myself doubted Madrid against Man city because man city was looking great and Madrid didn't even have their Main player Mbappe but It didn't happen as I Thought, kudos to Madrid for winning and I think they have progressed. No need for another leg but this is football anything can happen.

Aside from that Barca's second leg against Newcastle would be interesting, looking forward to that.

I'd say this was their best game among the big matches. Despite having many players missing, they won convincingly 3-0. Manchester City had a few chances but couldn't capitalize on them. This is true that the condition of Real Madrid right now is not too good. And this is also because there most of the players are injured and injuries of the players is a problem on which nobody can do anything. But as compered to the Real Madrid the position of the team Barcelona is very well. And I think the match between both the teams have more chances for Barcelona to win. Most persons that knows each of these  teams performance in the recent time weren't comfortable to say that RealMadrid will win, that's a difficult thing to say but football has once again reminded us that it doesn't have to be the way we think, when RealMadrid got their fisr goal, I was hoping that Manchester City will equalize and win the match but few minutes later they got the second goal that was when i know that things has started happening in a different that direction, RealMadrid had a good play, the went for the ball, they came out for the game, Madrid has to maintain this tempo in the second, although I do not see what a team that is already on 3:0 defeat Wtil do in their second meeting.

This shows that Madrid has a different mentality when facing the UCL, which they often show when most people doubt them with their condition, I still remember how City was destroyed several times by them in previous periods where City at that time was considered the best team in Europe with its extraordinary performance, and this year Madrid once again proved it. Inconsistent results are causing them trouble, because how do you end up losing to lower level teams of la liga and then beat Man City 3-0, that makes no sense to me at all. Even though I hate to say it but I must admit it's the truth, you said it rightly when you said they deserve to be where they are now. Yes, Barcelona has worked hard to be where they are now really deserves it. Even they Barcelona has had their own share of injuries but the coach has managed his team in such a way that it doesn't affect their overall performance. In fact yes, but it also shows their priorities, they treat matches in the Champions League more responsibly than games in La Liga. But on the other hand, remember the match against Benfica in the Champions League when they lost. So it is obvious that Real Madrid are a very strong team and they are capable of beating any opponent.
