But this can be considered as Laporta's last election with Barcelona. There is a rule proposed by Joan Gaspart in the past if a candidate can only be president for two consecutive times. So Laporta is gonna leave in the next election. This is the last time Barcelona fans can enjoy the club with Laporta as the president. 

BTW, Congrats for Laporta for his election win. He already got a lot of hearts from Barcelona fans even before the election happened. No doubt he gets his place again. 

Laporta is a bit of an unlucky president for Barcelona though.    Because the previous president Bartomeu was really bad with transfer policy...

He was the one who spent unbelievable amounts on players like Coutinho, Dembélé, Griezmann and so on... None of their performances was worth their fee unfortunately.

This led this team to be penniless. Now Laporta is trying to save the finances but he will still need more time for that!

Last night,, Barcelona showed their fangs again, with a landslide victory over Sevilla, which was truly impressive in my opinion. So,, with this in mind, I think Barcelona is truly on top right now. And Real Madrid will have a very hard time catching up with them.

Barcelona took this match very seriously, so they have a big gap with Real Madrid in the points table. There was a big gap in this match, Barcelona took the lead with two penalties at first and Sevilla left the team completely weak. Barcelona's attacks were very difficult, due to which this match was under Barcelona's control.
And in the end the match ended 5-2, but Barcelona has made a huge gap in this match. If I look at the points table, Barcelona is at the bottom of the points table with a big gap over Real Madrid.

Madrid fans were talking alot after their win against elche so Barca Delivered the same for their Fans. I think the match was fairly one-sided after the starting 2 penalties the game was well under control and then then raphina and olmo scored in the same half Applying more pressure on Sevilla and Rpahina completed his Hattrick. Sevilla scored two great goals in my opinion but That wasn't just enough and Barca turned out to be the better side by a huge margin.

Had the been either Real Madrid or Barcelona dropped points in match day 28, would have be at risk of losing the title, that's why both teams won their matches and maintain the same point gap in the La Liga despite them having an important matches in the Champions League. Barcelona is already leading Real Madrid by four points, so Real Madrid should make sure they secure three points in the Madrid derby because if they fail to do that, they should forget about winning the title as Barcelona will win Rayo Vallecano and increased their point gap to either six or seven points.

Now, they are at the 14th place out of 20 La Liga clubs. It's pretty obvious that Sevilla is in a major crisis and their defeat against Barcelona is another proof for this. Anyway, both Barcelona and Real won against weaker opponents, but let's see what would happen, when they face each other in the El Clasico. I would put money on Barcelona winning against Real, because Real's defense cannot impress me(despite their brilliant work against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League).

Yes, even Barcelona would be careful not to make any mistake in that El Clasico match cause the gap would be close and more easier fkr Madrid to overtake them. History mostly repeats itself and I'll be watching out to see if a similar thing would happen. I don't know where Madrid got their strength from cause they're supposed to look weak after several of their important players got injured. Maybe Arbeloa is giving them lots of motivations, if they can maintain ir then there's chances that they could win or share points with Barcelona.

Even Real Madrid must have the ability to win El Clasico. If Real Madrid is able to win El Clasico, then there will be only 1 point gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid. If Barcelona loses points in any match, then Real Madrid can easily win the title. As simple as the plan is, the reality is many times more difficult. They have to win all the matches before Barcelona loses, which is a difficult task for the current Real Madrid.

It is very true that all the games at this point is to be treated with every form of importance because they actually are, if a team must be able to maintain their spot at the top and win the tittle by the end of the season. And for Barcelona and Madrid that are chasing each other at a very close range with close point difference, they obviously need that consistency to maintain their position and be able to stay at the top of the table and possibly win the title if they are there to the end of the season, Barcelona has more chance to me because Madrid is more focused on the champions league.

I don’t really think Real Madrid should be bothered about anything, on how Barcelona are winning games because it’s absolutely ridiculous for them to be thinking about other team’s performance because they can’t have any effect on that, they should be more focused on themselves and how they are playing.

This is more important for now because their situation is also not good for now, so when they think too much about other teams their focus becomes divided, so it is better for Madrid to improve their performance and think about how they can win their important matches in the near future because that is much more important for now, especially when Barca is already leading 4 points, they have no time to play around now.
