I thought Real Madrid would drop a lot of points in Mbappé's absence, but I was wrong, and Real Madrid played their best everywhere, including in the Champions League. Federico Valverde scored 6 goals in 4 matches. Fantastic statistics for a midfielder. Of course, it would have been better if he hadn't received a red card in the last match, but he did against Atletico and won't be able to play in the next Mallorca match.

I think Arbeloa has seen the potential in Valverde that, he's not only good at the midfield but can also score goals which was why Arbeloa told him to always move forward to assist Real Madrid attackers and he's playing the role very well. Scoring goals in almost all the matches he has played after Mbappe was injured shows that he's an outstanding midfielder.

Don't underestimate Real Madrid even if some of gheir mainstay players aren't on the pitch because the flame of victory is still burning in the team. I see that Real Madrid don't rely on Mbappe to win matches. Vini is shinning now that Mbappe is not around.

Yes Kylian Mbappe's absence was not really felt all through his off days because of injury because despite Kylian Mbappe being a formidable player i still think Real madrid had got what it takes to keep the boat moving and again Vinicius has been quite outstanding on Kylian Mbappe's absence but i think he shines more when Mbappe is on the pitch because if you take a good look at their combination you can clearly tell that them both work more when they play together than when one is absence, so i really think the pair of them both will do more than just one person's present.

Real Madrid doesn't have too much trouble conceding goals because they can concede them even in unexpected matches. They used to have a much stronger and better defense, but that's no longer the case. With Mbappé, they're more effective in front of goal, but they haven't been able to solve their defensive problems. Yesterday, Vinicius Junior's individual skills secured three points for Real Madrid, but this result might not always be the case. If they want to win the championship, they have to learn to defend well.

Well, when you are missing most of your players for most of the season, defensive cohesion becomes a problem. They do have most of their players back to be fair, missing just a few, but even with this, they are still not great because their defense did not play that many games together all season long.

A team becomes better the more they play together, imagine your team have a "best eleven" and those guys play 5000+ minutes together, all same 11 players, out on the field for 5000+ minutes, is that team a better team? Or a team that constantly changes and no 11 they have played more than 1000 minutes together, is that better? Of course it matters.

Arbeloa's performance deserves praise because he was able to maintain Real Madrid's performance amidst many key players being injured, but Real Madrid still won many matches and Arbeloa was able to handle the pressure. Valverde is in top form, but it was unfortunate when he received a red card in the match against Atletico Madrid, which will at least affect his mentality and Real Madrid's performance in the upcoming match, as Real Madrid will have to lose another midfielder, who also previously lost Bellingham to injury. I was satisfied to see the struggle of Real Madrid's players in the match against Atletico Madrid, where it was clear that Real Madrid's mentality has returned, which is very important in the fight for the title. I hope Real Madrid continues to maintain this impressive performance so they can win the La Liga title.

I even think he is the man of the match! Did you see his save in the 1st minute of the match already? If their opponent got 1-0 ahead there then who knows maybe even Barcelona would lose points.

Gosh, today's match was very tough. The first half, Barcelona performed very well , it was just unfortunate that they couldn't score more than one goal. But entering the second half, everything changed, it was as if Rayo vallecano changed their Tactics.  They were just making fast counters. Kudos to Joan Garcia, he was the one that  saved us today, he truly deserved the Man of the match. Beating Rayo vallecano as a big team has never been easy, even Real Madrid also finds it hard to beat them too. I am just glad that Barcelona was able to grab three points. Then we hope Athletico de Madrid performs some miracles tonight.

Joan Garcia is a very good talented player… he’s been impressive so far ever since becoming a starter for football club Barcelona. He absolutely won the game for Barcelona if not for him it would have ended in a draw, Barça had other opportunities too to increase their tally but they failed to utilise them. Barça struggle against lesser teams in the league this time of the season but it’s a good thing they won that three points is very important.
Even with the four points gap, Real Madrid is still hot on the chase.

Basically, you should know that Valverde is a midfielder, but looking at the player's performance in the last few matches, we think he is playing like a striker. I present the proof of this by saying that he scored a hat-trick in a previous match, the first leg of the Champions League Round of Sixteen against Manchester City and scored a goal in the 55th minute of the Madrid derby yesterday, actually everyone must admit that this team is now moving forward thanks to the impressive performance of this Uruguayan player.

it's a derby match so what do you expect they have to as a way to maintain pride and bragging rights among their fans within the city. I think it's a tough game whenever they meet more than what the el classico is looking today. I think enjoy their game beyond the Barcelona and Real Madrid clash because the tension and physicality is usually something else in their games.

Yes, he’s a very good player and he has been doing very well for a very long time. He’s an important player in Real Madrid and some people didn’t notice that, but I believe that since this injury of some players people have seen what he is capable of doing as a forward, his scoring a lot of goals when he sees opportunity to do that, and he tries as much as possible to also create opportunity for himself in order to score. That is a player that should be in a team he’s always contributing in every match. It looks like Madrid are not playing more better than when some players they say they are important were on the pitch playing for Real Madrid. If I am the coach, I will keep using the set of players because they are playing just exactly like Real Madrid.

You shouldn't expect anything differently from what you're seeing, they are kyh in the same city and as such makes it a derby match and from the beginning, derby matches all over are always tough for either side expect maybe when one side is just too expensive for the other, there you can always be seeing one sided result, exactly Barcelona Vs Espanyol, both are in the same city but Barcelona are way above them that's why we mostly see a one sided result. As for the 2 Madrid clubs, even though one is more superior we can still agree that Atletico in some ways can match up Real Madrid in getting some certain kinds of quality players and as such can be a headache to Real Madrid on the field of play. I wasn't expecting anything less than a tough match last night between both.

Molina goal was incredible, one of the best power shots I have seen in a long time, that dude put it EXACTLY where it should be with force, definitely was an amazing goal. For a while there I assumed Simeone figured out a way and they are about to get a draw at least, but Real managed to keep it at check and managed to actually get away with it. I know it's not that easy, but it's what it is and we should not be worried about it, we can definitely assume the best for this case.

And moreover Real will not be happy with it, they want better but at the end we are not seeing them do that badly, they still get wins and as long as they keep getting wins, the possibility of winning the league still continues, it "may" happen.

I remember a time when Real were impassable in their defence. Looking at them nowadays, they’ve made one bad decision after another. The only positive players in Real’s back line for me are Rüdiger and Courtois—and now he’s injured for six weeks.

Okay, Real nowadays play attractive football and they spend money on that, but doesn’t Pérez see that you need a good foundation before building a house? They could easily buy a reliable centre-back and properly challenge for La Liga, but instead they spent it on Mbappé and not on players who strengthen the team overall.

Arbeloa is doing what any strategic coach would have done when they are faced with huge problems. When Xabi was facing battles around January, he was Cleary frustrated that's why he felt like the players are not respecting him and because he knew that if he continue on that path, he was going to be sack and to protect his interest and his reputation, he presented a resignation letter before he was handed one, now Arbeloa is taking the credit of the season.

Mbape is the club favorite, everyone knows that if not, we know the team has enough good players. It was Vinicious that took this club together with Rodrigo and won the last Champions League but because the club specifically wanted Mbape that's why they brought him and put him in the best position to get good goals. His first time was bad and mix with good goals but this season is better until the injury came but I love how he is patching up so he doesn't miss any trophy won.

Real Madrid has completely changed their fortunes and they have recovered from a very strong moment of crisis, i must say that such constructive teams are really rare, but it must be said that they also have a lot of money and a well-structured club behind them that allows them to do everything they want, they brought home a very important match.

i’m not sure where this offside tactic is taking Barcelona. The defenders are beyond average. The keeper was decent but they got shredded yesterday. All you need is to keep a few players offside and hit long balls to fast runners coming from behind. High level teams will rip that strategy to shreds.

It’s highly likely that Barcelona will win the title this season. However, with all the remaining matches, we can’t be certain yet. there are still 9 games left, which could yield 27 points. with that many points still up for grabs, the standings could still shift. It’s possible that Barcelona might start making mistakes and Real Madrid could overtake them again.
however given the current quality of both Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona does appear to be the stronger and more consistent team. still, as the season draws to a close, we all know that surprises are bound to start happening again.

Real Madrid tonight have once again shown that they've got the mental strength to fight for the league title till the very last match of the season. It was a deserving win for the Los Blancos even when Fede Valverde was sent off for a tackle that doesn't seem to be serious enough for such punishment. Alvaro Arbeloa seems like he's finally found the team's best playing pattern and I think he deserves much of the praise for tonight's result. Hopefully at the end of the season, Real Madrid will be crowned Spanish champions

Unfortunately, we won't see Valverde next week in Madrid for the Jornada due to the red card he received even though he is currently in very good form and can always score in the matches he plays. It seems he still has a grudge against Alex Baena from an incident a few seasons ago lol.

But the game was great and it was a great comeback by Madrid that keeps them in the running to close the 4 point gap they have with Barcelona.
It's getting tougher because we're at the end of the season but when Madrid's form is like this (including when they're in el clasico) then this could be a good push to close the gap.

As long as Real Madrid can still win matches against any team, the loss of Kylian Mbappe will not be felt, that's the fact. But you certainly understand how important Kylian Mbappe is at Real Madrid right now, without him I think Real Madrid loses a lot of power in building attacks. Of course, Vinicius and Valverde have been instrumental in helping the team win matches so far, but Kylian Mbappe has more strengths that can increase the team's optimism for win the match.

Kylian Mbappé's goal tally for La Liga this season is 23 goals and 4 assists. This clearly demonstrates his significant contribution to team-winning games, even if the team can still win in his absence. I have to admit that besides Mbappe, Vinicius and Valverde are other players who have good attacking power for Real Madrid.

It's a derby, yes, but it always irritates me how Atletico plays the toughest games against Real, and in games against Barcelona they often just give them points. By the way, Atletico have three games in a row with Barcelona ahead of them, they would do better to save their energy on them. But no, they tried to stop Real.
