They had bad results in latest weeks but two wins against Manchester City are big motivation for them to move next well as beating a strong opponent like Manchester City and in Champions League is not easy. Real Madrid even with not their best squad by player injuries, still used their remaining resources and amplified their experience as well as strong mentality to pass a very hard test.

To win the title, strong teams will have to play more carefully against weak opponents. Barcelona lost to Girona last month. Traditional teams like Real Madrid have lost or drawn many matches against weak teams but they are still a team with the potential to win the trophy. Athletico Madrid won Barcelona 4-0 at their home ground in the Copa del Rey, and I think Athletico Madrid might steal a point from Barcelona on their same ground so there could be a good chance for Real Madrid to reduce the point difference between them and Barcelona. The Mallorca vs Real Madrid match will be a tough match because Mallorca is fighting to get out of relegation zone, but I think Real Madrid would walk out with full three points from Mallorca home ground because there's a good improvement in their performance and they will want to win Mallorca so that if Athletico Madrid steal a point or points from Barcelona they will reduce the point gap.

Real Madrid have a good run recently considering all tournaments. They won their last 5 matches in terms of that. But I guess I won't be able to trust Arbeloa that quick.    He is still very likely to be replaced by a bigger name...

By the way Klopp said that he didn't get any offer from Real Madrid. He signaled that he might return to being a manager one day as well. Even this is good to hear and who knows maybe Florentino Perez would see it as an opportunity to make a move.

The fact is since the beginning of the 2025/2026 Spanish La Liga campaign Real madrid has not really been stable it's has been one problem to another and in as much as that they are still keeping a close gap with a well informed Barcelona so what makes some people think Real madrid is finish and can't meet up with Barcelona again? And with the look of things it seems Real madrid is about to start the season and i'm quite sure Real madrid will definitely catch up with Barcelona no doubt believe it or not they are catching up with Barcelona.

The best thing for Barcelona right now is to maintain their consistency because right now i don't see any threats from Real Madrid because of what they have been playing, Barcelona stand a very huge chances of winning the league again because their performance is very wonderful and also look promising compared to real Madrid performance. At the early stage of the season, I was seriously supporting Real Madrid but it gets a point where there is no hope for them again that was why I make a U-turn to support the champions which I believe they can take us to the promise land.

Real Madrid have to start thinking of how to build themselves in the next coming season, because currently they have declined. I don't want to hear any excuses because they are not behaving like formal real Madrid, if not that I knew them for a very long time I will rather say that they changed their name but not the players.
