It is quite interesting since the league trophy is being shared between two teams, unlike the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 that only one team wins them back to back. Atletico Madrid can still do it again, but Barcelona will be trying to revenge by all means because they were eliminated from the Copa del ray by atletico Madrid just few weeks ago, so it's going to be a tough one for both teams because Atletico Madrid have the home advantage. My advise to then is they should try as much as possible not to allow what happened to Chelsea against PSG to happen to them in the both leagues they will be meeting, not that Chelsea cannot compete against PSG but I believe it's a management issue they are having at the moment. Even if they might be unlucky and not win, they have what it takes to challenge and compete against Barcelona.

This will cover all matches against Atletico and possibly even a bit longer. Losing such an important key player could have a major impact on Barcelona. This could probably be the biggest test for Barcelona and if they can survive it then they might probably land two major trophies at the end of this season, they already know the strength and nature of the opponent they are up against and have already have series of encounters with this team, I know it's going to be a hard one but if they could overcome Atletico Madrid in all of these fixtures then they would have secured the league title first before thinking of the UCL.

Here I will mention something more that Kounda, Balde and De Jong were injured from recent time but fortunately now all of three just fit and will be ready to play against Atlatico Madrid. So in attack Raphinha will be absent but in defense Barcelona will have a strong hand.

There was a time this season when 7-8 of the team's key players, including Rafinha, were missing, yet Barcelona struggled to top La Liga and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League. So not only will Rafinha's absence hurt Barcelona too much, it cannot be denied that Barcelona will not have the best XI in his absence.

Barcelona does not have a single star player, if Rafinha plays well in one match, Lamine Yamal plays well in another match, Robert Lewandowski plays well in another match or Ferran Torres plays well. Atletico Madrid has no chance in the league anymore & I agree with you. That's one point that strengthens the belief that Barcelona will win, but there's another reason that will lower that belief. That is because Atletico Madrid will be playing at home, there are almost no easy matches when playing away. Regardless, I would bet on Barcelona myself, but I would go for the handicap bet.

I mean by ossuna he might be back, even for Getafe he might be back and subbed in later on. So that means, the only games that are hard are UCL games and one Atletico game for the league.

Assume that they lose all those games, out of UCL, very sad of course, but for the league, they should be still the leaders when he comes back. Losing to these teams just because they do not have Raphinha would be bad, they should be good enough to beat all others.

One thing I also worry about underdogs, is the fact that they are so unpredictable, one will think they will be serious here only for them to come and start misbehaving, in another case, one would think they would misbehave, that's when they will be serious. You that very game that they beat Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey 4 - 0, I never expected it, even they were leading 2 - 0, I was like, Atletico Madrid are too unserious Barcelona will comeback and boom 4 - 0 HT, I was thinking ok, maybe Barcelona will score or they themselves will increase it, that was how it ended. Guys why didn't you understand that Barcelona is not an ordinary team they have strong mentality like since Hansi Flick came here, he has emphasized on one thing, which is teamwork, not an individual like made progress through teamwork because if you depend on one player, your team can get into trouble but if you master teamwork, no team can stop you and to be honest you guys can see very well that every player has implement this psychology on himse. De Jong isn't fit tho? "Defense is sorted” argument kind of falls apart with that. In this case, he is targeting the Espanyol game AFTER the Atletico trilogy. That’s one already missing in your points. 

And Kounde and Balde, yeah, they are “targeting” a return for UCL legs. But targeting is literally what clubs state when praying. I have heard that word so many times before a big game and then the player does not travel. We all knew how that turned out. 

Does Raphinha's absence actually hurt as much as people think? Flick makes unpredictable changes. Like the guy is always changing roles at halftime, something even most managers do not do once a season. 

Yamal still scares me the most for Atletico honestly. Even without Raphinha on the other side, Yamal on his own is still a nightmare. He is on a different level. 

Flick will find something. I'm just saying the defending situation is messier than you make it out to be.
