What do you think about the Mallorca - Real Madrid match tomorrow? I think Arbeloa has no room for error right now, he needs to win every game in La Liga to stay as close as possible to Barcelona. But two factors worry me: Mallorca is in the relegation zone and they really need points, and Real Madrid has a Champions League match against Bayern in three days. Sometimes they struggle to stay organized in the final third, especially when there's no reliable striker to finish off chances and that is where Raphinha becomes important and he steps up in key moments and fills that gap when needed. So it is not really about individual absences as much as it is about how well the team functions overall on the day, we just hope this is not one of those games where Barcelona lose focus and make things difficult for themselves.

Atletico Madrid doesn't seem to me to be in that much difficulty, in fact they are proving to be very fit, obviously the championship now seems to be over, and they know this, they have always known it, and now they are trying some other way to win something this year but i see it as tough anyway.

Barcelona right now is a far cry from the crisis we faced two seasons ago, and even if core players leave, I feel there are replacement that Hansi Flick can make work, like the problem we had when Frankie and our two Fullbacks went out, we still survive and still trashed Newcastle.

The only problem Barcelona has now is there 9 and a quality Centre Back.

I've also noticed Barcelona has become more structured and confidence under Hansi Flick this season and what even stands out to me about the club currently is their ability to replace key players and still stand out in their performance. You made a good example with DE Jong case and they are able to achieve this true Hansi's better coaching in the club making the club looks.

Rashford I believe is capable of standing in for Raphina but like you have rightly mentioned, they are yet to believe in him enough to allow him the role since he has not been his best recently but then He may be needing some more time to adapt to the team and their style of play, as an English player trying to adopt to Spanish style of football can actually take some more time than expected.

But the truth is if Rashford can find his confidence again and aligns with the system under the leadership of Hansi Flicks, I trust he can become very dangerous there and sometimes a change in environment is all a player needs to be able to rediscover the best version of his self becuase for a club like Barca, they play a kind of game you will refer to as a structured one and the wingers are known for pressing while they also read movements of the opponents mostly like a system.

So if Flick thinks he will replace Raphinha then it might be possible but he also needs to consider how physically fit he is. The expectations that Barcelona had when they brought him in at the start of the season may not have lived up to the expectations. Rather, the setup of the previous players in the team is reliable. I think Flick might use him as a replacement for Raphinha and he will probably get the chance to show his best game but it is also worth noting that he is not in very good form. The important thing is that if a player is not in good form he can create some instability for the team.

To no whom they might use for Raphinha depends on the players available on that role, if Rashford is the only player within the chance of replacing him then his recent activities doesn't matter because they have no option to consider another, but if there are more that would bring Raphinha energy then we could assume that Rashford isn't going to be there, what if they use Ferran Torres on this role, what do you think would happen, is he going to be better than Rashford?, but on the other hand it will affect Lewandowski because Ferran Torres is always his substitute if not he could have also acted well.

Real Madrid has a great opportunity to close the gap with Barcelona, which is why they must win the match against Mallorca, as Mallorca is not in good form at the moment and the day after , Barcelona will be away to Atletico Madrid, which means there is a chance that Barcelona might drop points.

Real Madrid may well rest some of their players, given that they are due to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League in the coming days, but even without their best line up, I think Real Madrid still have a good chance of beating Mallorca (at least Real Madrid have a better chance of winning than Barcelona, who have to face Atletico Madrid).

The main issue is that we are not sure if this player can deliver the same performance that Raphinha would give, and that’s why it will be a big challenge for them. Injuries always have to be managed, and i don't understand what's wrong with them, they're things that happen, they just have to realize that this is what happens, Raphinha is definitely a player who also plays defensively and they fall back on this, i don't think it's very easy to fall back but they can do it.

You say i is not capable of managing an injury like that? i don't think that a team as big as yours can not manage an injury, certainly the player in the game is essential, but of course you have to know how to manage all cases, like this one for example.

I still remember the words of PSG coach Enrique, when he said something like, instead of one player to score many goals he would prefer multiple players to score that number of goals, in simple terms, he prefers his team to work as a unit instead of reliance on a single or 2 players. I have noticed that this PSG is not reliant on a single player and that's what makes them dangerous, threats are coming from everywhere. I remember when they had so many injuries in the first half of the season, they were still playing and winning important matches except for few times one would wonder if it PSG that's truly playing when they were messing up in the league but on average, those injuries didn't affect them as it would have affected some other big teams.

Atletico Madrid doesn't seem to me to be in that much difficulty, in fact they are proving to be very fit, obviously the championship now seems to be over, and they know this, they have always known it, and now they are trying some other way to win something this year but i see it as tough anyway.

Atletico looks solid to me and are in a very good form, such that can get them competing at any level but the thing is, they did not start just in time to chase titles and that is why now it does looks like they are finding it difficult to end the season winning something, as for the la liga, it is now fierce between Madrid and Barcelona so they do not have that chances to attempt it but some other titles maybe or next season they can try again.

Well you can only close a gap after the team in front of you losses and you win in return. Like you said they must win against Mallorca and Atletico Madrid will either have to win or draw against Barcelona for Real Madrid to close the gap, if both wins everything remains the same. Real Madrid that has been misbehaving but I guess of late they have really picked up momentum and they have a higher chance of winning though. Even though Barcelona and Atletico Madrid tie will be hard, I think Atletico Madrid are fully aware that their league season is already done but will mostly put all focus in the champions league, but at the same time I won't be counting on it because Atletico Madrid are just full of surprises, you can't fully anticipate the game they will consider as more important.

I dont know what is gonna do Rashford but english players always want to comeback to england in fact we are facing or seeing a super strange situation with them because them never go abroad so much in the past time. But right now we are seeing a lot of english players abroad.

I expect to see him coming back more soon than later, the same goes for Greenwood despite his big problem.

It's the call of the homeland, normal. Among other things, the English championship is certainly much more competitive and entertaining than La Liga, where in the end 2 teams dominate, let's be clear.

Barcelona is having some financial crises now i think, he may not have done it now in Barcelona and he is not also given more playing time he might not be in a good form now but that doesn't mean he can't score good goals or even be the man of the match against Atletico Madrid he may even score hat trick no body knows. When Marcus Rashford was still in Manchester United i have watched him score goals from difficult angles even score goals that you won't believe he can score.

Barcelona are currently in a financial crisis, but they are managing it and gradually covering their significant losses from season to season. And as time has shown, this financial situation hardly affects the players or their motivation, because Barcelona first and foremost, find ways to pay their players’ salaries. As for Rashford, he doesn’t score as often as one might expect. I think he is certainly capable of scoring, but his efficiency isn’t high enough for the team to rely on him completely.

Barcelona is playing a good football game despite they don't have any expensive players in the team due to their low income budget, there are players they can't buy due to the money tag but they are still putting their self together. Marcus Rashford has not been consistent that's true and there is no way we can compare his form and that of Raphinha but this also doesn't mean that he can't shine against Atletico Madrid.

For me, there is no concern whatsoever regarding the Mallorca - Real Madrid match because I believe Real Madrid will win this match to get three points to stay close to Barcelona. Maybe Real Madrid will not achieve a landslide victory over Mallorca because Real Madrid players also need a lot of energy to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but for Real Madrid, the important thing is to get 3 points in the match against Mallorca even if it is by a small score because what Real Madrid needs is not a landslide victory, but to get 3 points every match in La Liga to have a big chance to win the La Liga title.

Honestly, it's not going to be an easy match for Barcelona at all against Atletico Madrid, actually I normally see Raphinha as thier key player that can perform very well beyond my expectations, and he's the reliable attacker presently,because this is the player I respected much that can deliver accurately and consistently, sometimes even more effective to me than Lamine Yamal despite the Lamine Yamal skills and talents, so it's a bigger concerns on his absence.

Currently, the Atletico Madrid are also not a weaker team this season that will just accept a defeat from Barcelona easily. They are also trying in competitive expecialy in thier big matches like this one. So even if Rashford present him it  wouldn't satisfy fans as the Raphinha does his straightforward work clearly. If Barcelona mange to win this match, it will be a huge addition for them. But if they drop points Real Madrid will close the gaps a little definitely and it will become more raceir than before

It won't be easy for me either for Barcelona against Atletico Madrid. i have the feeling that Barcelona will give it their all. It seems like they have finally found an excellent team that is trying to give it their all. Clearly these players are stronger than Atletico Madrid, but i wouldn't be so sure.

It is a match Real Madrid must have to win but we should expect a intense resistance from Mallorca cause at this time of the season this relegation battling teams are unpredictable and can frustrate any opponent they meet by causing an upset to their points.

Would Madrid control what their opponent team, Mallorca, is going to play against them? No, a must-win depends on Madrid's level of preparedness and what they will play in that match. The game is a crucial match for them to win, as they need to maintain their position in the league table and still keep their hopes alive for the trophy 🏆 race should Barcelona lose any of their games.

That's true, you can’t rely your hope on one player as a team cause whatever makes the player to be absent would cause problems for the team. For instance Bruno Fernandes is the only play maker for Manchester United you can see that his stats is fantastic and it's mostly because he's the one who creates more assist than other players and if he's not available the team would really have a set back on creating chances to win. But I don't think Barcelona would really suffer cause of Raphinha, they have Rashford.

You can't rely on a single player that's true, but you also have to understand no matter which team we are talking about, if you take out their best player that team will become not as good. Doesn't matter which team in the world we are talking about, this is not something that we are going to see that often, we should not be expecting it to change anytime soon at all.

We should be able to actually see this be a problem for Barcelona because it's a problem for every other team. Mbappe gone means Real Madrid isn't as good, they still won, but it's obvious they won't be as good, or Haaland gone means City won't be same, so we are talking about something that won't be same for any team, so it's understandable.
