Barcelona chances of winning the trophy have increased a lot due to Real Madrid loss to Mallorca. Although Real Madrid are second in La Liga, the gap with Barcelona is large and to score that much, Madrid will have to win in a row and Barcelona will have to lose three matches. The upcoming matches are important for Barcelona and they will be very close to winning because their top position in terms of points will give them more confidence. I think Barcelona's chances of winning the La Liga trophy are pretty much certain and they can also strengthen their position in the Champions League which would be great. I don't expect much from Real Madrid although some are talking about their chances of winning the trophy in the Champions League.

I will agree with this as with a point difference of about 7, Barcelona is at a good position away from Real Madrid enough that they may not be able to catch-up this season. Even the champions league is one which I do not expect much from Madrid in that competition because they are not really looking stable.

I saw that Atletico madrid performed exceptionally well in the first half. And Barcelona was under a lot of pressure. Both teams were  able to attack a lot. And they  were able to score a goal each. But the game changed in the last minute of the match. The referee showed Atletico madrid defender Gonzalez a red  card. It was very difficult to stop barcelona's powerful  attack with  10 players. Atletico madrid played poorly defensively in the second half. Even then , they failed to get a point in the end. This was undoubtedly Atletico's misfortune. In my opinion, the Barcelonna vs. atletico Maddrid match was a very tense match because it was a tight competition because both teams have strong players. No one will disagree that Barcelona played very well in this match. Maybe if Atletico Madrid played with 11 players, they could have performed better and the match would have been more competitive. But Barcelona played well throughout the match and they definitely deserved the win.

Well, I know some people will not still believe that Barcelona will win this trophy, because they said Real Madrid will win their last game but what they saw make them not to say anything yet base on the victory Barcelona secured from their opponent to increased their points. As this laLiga league trophy is concern I don't think Real Madrid will win this trophy, because they still have strong clubs to meet before the end of the tournament and it may cause them to lose again.

Both teams played very well. It was a balance game before refree ruined the game with the red card. There was a time Barcelona player committed a red card foul but was later overturned. Had it been the red card was not cancelled, it could be a well balanced game with Athletico player also sent off. Nothing else matter now, Barcelona were greatly favoured and they got away with it. However, the truth remains that Barcelona need to up their game even though they are seven points clear on top of the table. Let's not be quick to conclude that madrid won't be able to perform well in the champions league, they might start performing well at anytime because they normally play differently in the champions league, they are not really in a proper form this season. That's right. Real Madrid's loss against Morca is nobody's fault, it's their own. They had to win a match like that. There was also a possibility that Barcelona could drop points. Of course, they won, but when you look at it, they were playing against a strong team like Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid needed to capitalize on that. However, Real Madrid failed to do so and dropped three points. Now the point difference has increased to seven, and my guess is that the championship race is over.

With Real Madrid's current form, it's understandable to expect less from them this season, even in a competition that's far more difficult than La Liga, the Champions League. However, if Real Madrid can beat Bayern Munich over two legs in the Champions League, I think consideration will return to Real Madrid, even though some fans have already begun to forget about La Liga after yesterday's defeat at Mallorca. And frankly, I was also surprised to see Real Madrid unable to win at Mallorca, even though they are so close to the relegation zone.
