The struggling end you are talking about killed Manchester City in the UCL. I agree that many matches they played haven't been great, but describing them as being on the struggling end sounds like they dropped into the abyss. I am honest and tell you that I never thought they could tear apart Manchester City like that, but after that first match I think Real Madrid must be taken seriously irrespective of whether they failed in La Liga or not.

Did you follow the Bundesliga and how close it was for Bayern Munich? It's nuts, but objectively they both played the same level against inferior opponents. They're allowed to lose matches during a long season and a league champion don't need to have an unbeatable season like Arsenal about two decades ago in Premier League.

In La Liga this season, so far Barcelona have played better and collected more points than Real Madrid, which team they lost in matches so far are not too important. This is an opponent I did expected them to score the least three goals, so their failure and that of their defensive lapses cause them the game, that is why I wouldn't be targeting a single player because it wouldn't be fair.
