Definitely they studied them well, like my prediction was actually correct i predicted that game Atletico Madrid win or draw because i didn't see any possibility of Barcelona beating them in that game but many doubted it because they won Atletico Madrid in the league match, i was like telling them that Atletico Madrid forfeited that game for the UEFA Champions league match because they already knew that either win or lost they are still going to end third in the league so what's the need of killing themselves, now look at the outcome they beat Barcelona 2 goals to nothing at home, and you think Barcelona can reciprocate that? Hell no they can't, so they are gone from the UEFA Champions league.

Why talk about luck? It's not a dice game where you roll them and wait for the result.
They played better than Barcelona and got the victory, I could say luck if in the end they managed to equalize due to a mistake or from a draw also due to a mistake one of the two teams scored the one of the match, but in this case given the result it doesn't seem right to me to talk about luck.

Your analysis might be right, majority of us was not expecting Barcelona to lose, both teams met recently and Barcelona won from away, this yesterday meeting Barcelona has to suffer such loss, let me say I agree with you that the red led to their loss but they should have tried not to allow the Athletico Madrid guys to make it 2goals, I understand how bad their defense was but something could have been done to avert that from happening, as it is, Athletico Madrid is at advantage right now, Barcelona has to work very hard next time that they will be meeting, Athletico Madrid were lucky as you said it but they make they move for the goals, the goals did not just come, some teams will have such opportunity and will not still win but they did, it means they were actually good too.

I agree with you that Barcelona are unlikely to come back in the second leg but it should also be acknowledged that they will be desperate to win. Atletico Madrid will have a great opportunity to keep their defence more secure and if they don't score, they might still have a chance to go through to the semi-finals. If Atletico can draw the match, that will be positive for them. Their strategy should be to prevent Barcelona from being too aggressive and have the necessary tools to counter. Atletico defence is already very strong and they will be playing at home so they will be psychologically better.

I think Barcelona will win the trophy this season as well as last season and they should continue to play normally without taking too much psychological pressure. They will almost certainly win the La Liga trophy.

Everyone that bet on Barcelona yesterday have lost confidence in them because it's gon be a big surprise if they can turn the game around in their favor and qualify to the next round. However, I don't think that Simeone will let that happen because he understands Barcelona game pattern very well which will motivate him.
