The way Atletico Madrid scored 2 goals and Barcelona put all the pressure on them was quite good and interesting and Barcelona could not score a single goal and their player made a mistake and got a red card, which puts a different pressure on their team. If Barcelona does not play well in the second leg then this game in the Champions League will end, which will be quite disappointing for their fans. Barcelona should control Atletico Madrid with all their might and not give them a single chance to score a goal and win this match by scoring goals themselves. Barcelona must go forward because Atletico Madrid does not have the strength to win the semi finals. I also find that difficult because Real Madrid is close to them and if Real Madrid controls it, Barcelona will be defeated very badly.

I don't think there is this big crisis, and i don't think it's something manipulated by the media to hype or anything like that, Barcelona are doing well and i don't think there are such serious problems, i have to say that there are things they have to do to stay calm but it can continue like this, it's going well.

I know the game is 50/50. Barcelona is in a situation where AT Madrid have faced them multiple time. WoW what a game we have yesterday, what took my attention was we saw the exact same run from Giuliano Simeone in the LaLiga game from the weekend, in LaLiga match it ended up in goal and in the Champions LEague game it ended up being a free kick with a red card for Cubarsi and therefore a goal from that free kick crazy.

It was a truly beautiful match last night, a really great game. Both teams were very dynamic and quick, and excellent both physically and technically.

I agree with you. Xabi Alonso would have done well if he had had enough support from the management. He could have strengthened the Leverkusen squad. Leverkusen management gave Alonso enough time and opportunity. But madrid management did not respect Alonso enough. They gave more importance to the players' opinion. And decided to sack Alonso.

Madrid management should have decided to sack Alonso after finding an experienced manager. By sacking alonso they gave the responsibility to someone who has much less experience than alonso. There is no doubt that madrid would have become  stronger if madrid had a manager with enough experience.

I have watched them play a couple of times this season, and to be honest, I don't think they're going to lift anything this season. This same Real Madrid had the opportunity to sit comfortably at the top of the La Liga table, but for some weird reasons, they ended up dropping a few points to very small teams in some back to back draws, while Barce took the advantage. It didn't just happen once, but it happened on several occasions.

The truth is, they're not looking like that top madrid. They've got stars and quality players, but it hasn't driven them to that top level of a long term consistency yet. Barce aren't even that consistent either, they just know how to capitalize on some opportunities when Real Madrid false to do the same.

Real Madrid's current performance and consistency do not seem to be able to win. If we could see Real Madrid in their best form, then we could say that this gap may not be a big gap for Real Madrid. But currently Real Madrid's position is very damaged, they are struggling to understand what to do at the moment. So at the moment I will not be willing to take any bet in favor of Real Madrid.

Simeone truly managed to take revenge on Flick and that proved his words after Atletico Madrid's defeat in the previous match.

However, I will not overreact to this loss because in my opinion Barcelona was just unlucky and they still have a chance to catch up in the second leg, although it will be difficult because the match will be played at Atletico Madrid's home.

Yes you are right; Villarreal is doing better than Atletico Madrid this season based on the teams they have played so far in Laliga; they are one point ahead of Atletico Madrid and has already played both Real Madrid and Barcelona in both legs, I think they will once again go back to the Champions League next season if they can manage to finish third or fourth because regardless of what Atletico Madrid is playing this season, I still believe they can go above Villarreal even by defeating them in their last Laliga match of the season.
