Real Madrid is currently going through a very bad time, because they have refrained from learning their advanced tactics, which is why they drew the game even though they knew they would win these matches. I had predicted and I bet in favor of the Real Madrid team, of course the Real Madrid team will not take the game lightly at home, the game will be quite competitive for the Real Madrid team. But the few attacks that the Real Madrid team made in this match were weak, because they kicked directly at the goalkeeper from a distance. Totally agree with you, Arda Guler has a valuable place in the team and should play full time instead of using other players who keep missing out and ruining things. When we see the previous matches where Real Madrid won, that player has been the most successful at passes and creating chances.
Focusing on stars like Mbappe or Vini is killing the whole squad’s efforts, and making it almost impossible to give other players a chance to show their talents and build a perfect strategy.

Now, it’s like Real Madrid is waiting and hoping that these two players are in their good day so we can win a match or score goals, otherwise it’s gameover and we end up wasting titles on losing against small teams.

Real is not playing good, they don't deserve to be champion. This might be the end of road for them. If they can't find second goal in last 10 minutes this season is over, not mathematically but logically. Girona defended well whole game, they just need a couple more minutes to get a point from this though away game.
Mbappe was the only player carrying the team. This will be his 4th game in a row without scoring. That sums up Real's season.

Their form is slipping and when it comes to whether or not they deserve it at the moment they don't deserve it this season but as a fan of course I'm very annoyed with the current situation for Madrid.

Their momentum is slowly disappearing and there should be no reason for Madrid to believe in the process until the end of the season.
Starting with a lot of young players at the start of the season may be good for the long term, but the results of the season are not effective and turn out to be devastating.
Also, not looking for the same type of midfielders as Modric and Kroos also ended badly. We know that since the last 2 seasons the role of Kroos is still no one can replace and unfortunately both Ancelotti and Xabi did not try to find alternatives to Kroos which made Arbeloa at this time also unable to do much because of their midfield that still has gaps.

At the moment the Madrid players individually may be much better than other squads including Barcelona because individual Madrid players still have the advantage (for me) but in terms of collectivity Madrid are still far behind and this is what makes Madrid have to give up even before the season is really over.

If a team could not beat the opponent and win a match, it's not their good match and it's how Real Madrid played and ended the match with Girona. They created opportunities but wasted most of them, with only one goal scored by Valverde that was not enough when Girona managed to score the equalizing goal too.

With this draw, Real Madrid almost surrender the La Liga title to Barcelona and even Barcelona will have to focus on a next quarter final with Atletico Madrid after losing 0 - 2 in the first quarter final match happened days ago, they still have ability to win and get three points today. I also think that Real Madrid did not play badly but they did not win in the end. I am very disappointed with the results of the last few matches. After losing to Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League, they are expected to lose in the second leg as well. The points gap with Barcelona in La Liga has left them in a weak position but not winning against Girona is a big blow for Real Madrid. A draw and gaining 1 point is equivalent to losing because Barcelona will probably win their next match against Espanyol and will continue to increase the points gap and this will put Barcelona in a position close to winning the trophy. This is really unfortunate for Real Madrid because they played aggressively for most of the match but did not get the winning goal.

Someone in the club has to tell Mbappe and Vini to stop diving and think how to score properly. The ball is always went to the wings, then the winges always willing dribble, then lose the ball. No doubt this club has no soul and they also lack of tactical gameplay too.

Having a uefa champions league game coming up is not an excuse to draws a team like girona when they are fighting for the league title, because this is real madrid, a team that is used to competing on all fronts consistently, or is Barcelona that are leading the chart not in the uefa champions league, or didn't they play a midweek game also?
This is not a valid excuse because they have failed woefully in their quest for the Spanish laliga, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose again to Bayern munich and are knocked out from the competition,  because the sacking of xabi Alonso in my own opinion did more harm to the team than good.

Sometimes I wonder how people watch games. Few months back when Arda Guler started several games people complained about the constant playing time that he is too inexperienced to be at Real Madrid that he shouldn't be starting games and now that he is been left on the bench people are now complaining again LOL... I think when Real Madrid loses games the players shouldn't be blamed at all because we are all aware of Mbappe's ability and how he has helped the team severally this season and last season under Ancellotti and also Bellingham has been very good since he joined, but when players have a few bad games they are suddenly not fit to be in the team.
Coaches influence the performance of a team so when certain players are not doing as expected them the coach should be questioned especially when the players in question are good talented players.

Last night, I watched that match and Madrid not playing badly because had many great attempt but performance of Girona goals keeper Paulo Gazzaniga very impressive made several crucial saves. I bit disappointed with the referee last night when Kylian Mbappe fault by Girona players but not giving penalty kick and Madrid must get the draw for this match.
After playing draw from Girona now Madrid have quite difficult position if want to win La Liga this season for awhile has 6 points left if Barcelona win today against Espanyol will make 9 points remaining of 7 matches left. Actually almost over for Real Madrid to win La Liga if Barcelona success getting three points.

If Barcelona gets poor results in a few matches before the El Clasico, it will truly be their bad luck. Barcelona will face Espanyol and Osasuna before facing Madrid. After dropping two points at home to Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid are on the verge of a second consecutive trophyless season. Obviously, the problem is not Xabi Alonso, but the lack of quality players to build a solid partnership. Real Madrid management also needs to improve their ability to bring in players. They must look at the team's overall needs rather than the wishes of the club's top brass who want to bring in certain players. Real Madrid have spent a lot of resources to bring in Mbappe, but the quality of the team looks far worse than the squad in 2024. Had Real Madrid tried to bring in Gyokeres, Harry Kane, or found a replacement for Toni Kroos at the start of the season, the quality of Real Madrid squad might have been much better than last season.

They were attacking the entire match, and I think they should have scored at least two more goals, but despite that, they ended up drawing at home. That’s bad, because they ruined my bet. I had Real at -1 handicap, and they spoiled my parlay where all the other selections won. So once again, Real have disappointed me. And I can say that with this kind of performance, they have nothing to hope for in an away match against Bayern.

After Madrid's draw against Girona, will Barcelona also pull off a surprise result in today's match? I'm sure 99% of people would say no.

I admit Barcelona can capitalize on a good opportunity to consistently pick up points in every match, and this time, the opponent they'll face is a team that looks easy to beat. But I have just one question, will both teams score over 3.5 in this match?

I dont think that's majorly the reason for their loss...Real Madrid sef is not small at all, they have players who have had experiences in playing back to back matches, so why should this be any different...Obviously they are just spursy, they are very good at disappointing their fans especially when they need them to secure a win... They have failed to win 3 very consecutive games- First was their 2 goals to 1 defeat against Mallorca(in La-Liga), secondly was their 2 goals to 1 defeat by Bayern( in Champions League), and now they were unable to defeated Girona right there in Bernabue....And from the look out of things, they may be going home trophyless in all competitions La-Liga and UEFA Champion League inclusive....

Real Madrid are really in desperate need of a miracle. With this draw the point has reduced to just six but that is if Barcelona will lose today because if they win, it will increase to 9 and I don't think with Barca will want to play with this one. I had a lot of expectations for the Los Blancos, I thought they'd give Barcelona a tough time but it's obvious that Madrid are not having that mentality that saw them win several Laliga titles.

They can't get a win at home, and their belief in themselves has weakened considerably after the Bayern Munich away game. What's happening at Real Madrid? Can they continue like this next year? It's surprising to see a team accustomed to being the best in the world performing like this. They've practically gifted the league to Barcelona with this draw. I don't think they have any dreams of winning the Spanish league title anymore.
