I even find it hard to see that Real Madrid players are aware of this, and it was proven in their last match that they seemed to have no motivation at all to play aggressively. So indeed, this season is already over for Real Madrid and they have failed to win any titles. I am very sure that Real Madrid management will conduct a major evaluation for the next season, so indeed they are just going through the motions to finish this season, and I am eager to see what steps Real Madrid management will take to improve this team.
The gap is too much, and sometimes you just have to say "screw it" and give up and start focusing on next season. For example in formula 1 that is rewarded. Because if you think this season will not be good, you build a car for the next season, so you improve next season more than the team that is focusing on this season alone. Although at this point I am sure Barcelona is already focusing on next season too, because they have nothing else left but the league title, and they already won that.

I don't understand in what sense. For Real Madrid the season is over, second or third place, not much would change. Even if he will never reach the third due to the high advantage he has over Villareal, but in any case he now has nothing to lose. That is, he has already lost.
Real Madrid have fallen behind in the title race long before the end of the season. They have failed to win the Copa del Rey. They have been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. At the same time, it is impossible for them to win the La Liga title. Real Madrid is 11 points behind Barcelona. To win the title, Madrid will have to win all 5 matches and Barcelona will have to lose 4 matches. Barcelona will never lose 4 out of 5 matches. So Madrid should give up hope of the title. Real Madrid ended another unsuccessful season. You are right, Real Madrid will now find it difficult to catch up with the 11 point gap from Barcelona, so I think the conclusion is that the La Liga title is over even though there are still 5 matches left. Barcelona officially locked the title for the last 2 seasons. Barcelona can lose or draw the remaining matches, but Madrid can also do more than that. Real Madrid should also focus on next season, they have no other chance, their point gap is 11, which is not possible to reduce at the moment. The title this season will definitely go to Barcelona, their points are 85 at the moment, and Barcelona's performance is very good. So Madrid must prepare themselves for the future, Madrid's performance is currently disappointing, so they have to strengthen themselves first, if they want to do well next season.

Barcelona has gone too far to leave a single hope for Real Madrid because even if Real Madrid wins all their remaining 5 games, Barcelona only needs to win 2 more games and and be declared the winner not minding whether real Madrid wins all or looses all. Barcelona stole this league with hardwork even when they were lagging behind earlier. Barcelona has scored 20 more goals than real Madrid too so should they end on equal points, Barcelona still has the league. Congratulations to Hansi flick and his team for a job weldone. Kylian Mbappe still has the chance to pick up his golden boot in the league and he also has the possibility of winning the champions League golden boot too even after leaving the competition already. He scored many goals this season and that was a good thing for him anyway.

I will say it again, Mourinho glory has run out, his magic hand is not as great as it used to be, although I understand that is not what Madrid are looking for, because they need a figure of control in the dressing room and discipline Madrid selfish players which I also doubt whether Mou will succeed, this is like a gamble that will have major consequences, because Mou is famous for his firmness and does not hesitate to remove players from the first team if they disobey, which could be Mou fate could be like Xabi. Unless Perez supports that firmness, because this is where the problem lies.
So in your opinion, who do you think can manage the current crisis at Real Madrid? Obviously Ancelotti or Zidane won't come back. That leaves you with a few solid guys like Mourinho that command a lot of respect from the players. Who knows, the glory you guys think has run out could actually come back at Real Madrid. Is José Mourinho the solid guy? How solid do you think he is?…. Is it only discipline that Madrid needs now?.., I think Florentino Perez is getting too old and making too many rash decisions. Only one bad season that Ancelloti had they decided to let him go and they couldn’t even let Xabi Alonso finish now there’s rumours of going for José Mourinho who I think is also a wrong choice for Madrid at this moment. There’s guys like Jurgen Klopp, Lionel Scaloni even Pochettino. It’s better to give Unai Emery a chance than Mourinho right now. Will just changing the coach or team manager solve Real Madrid's problems? I don't think so because here, squad balance, injuries, transition, i.e. adapting from the old to the new generation, and following the board's decisions is not an easy matter, but a complex situation. So, in my opinion, whoever is brought in charge, should be given the opportunity to work patiently for a long time to solve this problem, otherwise, not much good performance can be expected from them.

the favorite to win the title changed several times during the season. while barcelona generally led the way, there were periods when real madrid took the lead. now barcelona looks 99% certain to win the title, and this will be their second consecutive championship after a long hiatus. while the la liga title has changed hands every season for the last few years, barcelona will win it again this season.
it’s a tough situation for real madrid because they were eliminated in the champions league quarterfinals and ended the year empty-handed, which is especially bad considering even atlético has a chance to advance in the champions league. we haven’t seen an effective real madrid this season.

It’s actually a good one seeing Barcelona in this great position, Real Madrid have not been doing so great that can convince us to that extent of giving them a winning chance in the La Liga. While Barcelona have done so well in the La Liga, I just hope Real Madrid will correct their mistake from next season maybe they will do better in their matches, but for now Barcelona have already take the lead and they will be going home with the trophy. it’s a tough situation for real madrid because they were eliminated in the champions league quarterfinals and ended the year empty-handed, which is especially bad considering even atlético has a chance to advance in the champions league. we haven’t seen an effective real madrid this season.
Real Madrid really experience tough moments throughout the season actually, both Champions league and La Liga they didn’t get any of this two trophy which is too bad, and this have happen for two consecutive seasons now. I think by now Real Madrid should just make sure they make sure every single changes that is needed in the team is done before the start of next season.

The injury-prone nature of some players is wearing Real Madrid down. Militao is the first player that comes to mind, for example. When it comes to long-term injuries, the Brazilian player is the first name that comes to mind. Real Madrid didn't get the performance they wanted from him this year. And Real Madrid had a very difficult time defensively. Actually, in my opinion, they need experienced players not only in the coaching area but also in the defensive area. They need quality defenders. Let's see what their transfers will be like this year.

There’s really no room for emotions here if the offer is actually that huge. I think Vini is one of the most talented players right now, but overall he’s not the ideal profile for Real Madrid. His behaviour off the pitch should match the standards on the pitch as well. His individual quality isn’t in question, but Real need a proper team structure, not five players competing with each other. So selling Vini could actually end up being a good move for Real Madrid
Historically, Real Madrid was always about shield as well as system of play, and at the moment, squad is bit overloaded on the left. If it is big bid, why not use opportunity to shake up whole starting line-up? Vini might be one of best 3 players in world, but sometimes tactical chemistry with other superstars doesnt work. Having him gone will free up resources to spend on world class goal scorer or defensive midfielder to replace Toni Kroos. This would be Business over Heart decision, but in past, Real Madrid has always done well following these choices, such as selling Di Maria, or even Cristiano. Sometimes, team needs to lose its superstar to become more structured and disciplined. Vini might be one of the best players out there, no doubt, but at the same time he can cause some serious issues, especially for the team. If he doesn’t get the ball when he wants it, he can end up arguing with teammates even in really important matches. And we all know how it goes when the atmosphere turns toxic , results suffer. That’s why, like you said, maybe it’s time for a reset. Cash in on a big offer, rebuild the squad, and finally have Real looking like a proper team that dominates and wins everything again

It's safe to say that La Liga is over, and Barcelona has won the trophy. With such a significant lead over Real Madrid it's unlikely Barcelona will drop many points, especially with El Clasico still ahead, which could secure the La Liga title. Real Madrid's motivation right now is simply to end the season on a high and Albeloa will undoubtedly give his best for the remainder of his tenure as coach. Even if they fail to win a trophy this season at least they ended the season with a win allowing them to finish the season with their heads held high. For a team as big as Real Madrid to go trophyless for two consecutive seasons is certainly a major blow for the club management, especially since they usually win at least one trophy every season. There's no other way than to make major improvements for next season to perform better. That's also why Perez is currently searching for a coach who can truly make Madrid strong and able to compete again in La Liga and UCL. Currently several coaches are considered potential replacements for Albeloa, including Klopp, Lionel Scaloni, Jose Mourinho, Pochettino and Didier Deschamps.

it’s a tough situation for real madrid because they were eliminated in the champions league quarterfinals and ended the year empty-handed, which is especially bad considering even atlético has a chance to advance in the champions league. we haven’t seen an effective real madrid this season.
What struck me most was that the entire squad seemed to be mentally and physically drained. Injury, lack of good backup at key position and pressure of ever skyrocketing expectation. All in all the player are out of breath. Now bringing a new coach will not fix everything in a sudden. Their main task now is to make a big dent in the squad in summer. If that is not done then just changing manager does not seem to do much good Bringing in a top class striker and creative midfielder should be of utmost importance in upcoming transfer window. Additionally it has become important to fix the balance of defense table and midfield

Of course, I don't think they'll continue with Arbeloa next year, but changing managers with only a few games to go would disrupt the team's entire balance. The team is already demoralized after an unsuccessful season. The summer transfer window will determine how they fare next year. They need to announce their new coach first, and then make the necessary transfers.

Vini is a great player and is one of the most important players currently in Madrid, as he as contributed to the progress of the team. But his problem is his attitude, any game that his impact is not felt or he is struggling he will not be at ease with himself. That is why he usually have problems with both his teammates and opposition player. Vinicius really needs to control his temper so that he can bring out the best in himself.

Vinicius Jr is one of the important players for Real Madrid. He lifted major trophies with Real Madrid and you're comparing him with Khavicha doesn't make any sense. Do you know what Vinicius Jr have done for the club? There are huge difference between the Brazilian and the Georgian. Real Madrid will never forgets how important and how elevated Vinicius Jr have brought the club and this far is because of the magnificent performances of Vinicius Jr. What's the problem concerning Vinicius about tracking back? He's a top player although it's not excuse not to defend but there are features he brings on the pitch which no other player can do, like pressing with high intensity and causing havoc in the defendlines of his oppositions.

The Real Madrid last match they played with Betis, did you noticed that Real Madrid squad were complete, that was the best among starters that the team had but what was the outcome, they draw instead and that makes me believe Real Madrid are out of the Laliga already, there body is here but their soul is prepared to the World cup. It's now as if Real Madrid players are avoiding too much stress so they don't get injured ahead of world cup preparation. Barcelona are not doing too much, Hansi flick knows what to do to win the rest of the matches, I believe the next 2 matches alone can help them secure the league and I'm not sure they are going to be daft to lose two matches in a row. It's better they do it now in their next 2 games than wait for it to get intense. Real Madrid looks weak, if they do any mistake and lose matches, it will only wake them again to start pushing again.

Matchday 34 has kicked off, and both top teams have away fixtures that look pretty interesting to discuss.
Osasuna vs Barcelona Espanyol vs Madrid
Looking at the H2H stats, both of these top teams have actually been beaten before in away matches. That makes me a bit doubtful, could we see some surprises in these games?
What do you think?

Someone once said that having high quality player specially strikers, in a team is usually counterproductive. These strikers are always seeking personal glory since they want to win the Ballon d'Or. We have seen greed within the Real Madrid strikers lead to losses. Vinicius and Mbappe are not working together effectively. In my view, they should be forced to become selfless, or one of them should leave.
Yes, everyone sees that, but that's why I think if Klopp arrives, he'll have a hard time adapting because he hasn't worked with so many stars, unlike Mourinho, who has a bigger ego than all the players combined. So I think ego is fought with more ego, which is why I think Mourinho is the right man here. He's the one who can bring order, he has the respect, he has the strategy, he knows how to manage them. Let's remember how he managed CR7 and got along wonderfully; that says a lot.

Because if you think this season will not be good, you build a car for the next season, so you improve next season more than the team that is focusing on this season alone.
Although at this point I am sure Barcelona is already focusing on next season too, because they have nothing else left but the league title, and they already won that.
Because for now the only way for Madrid is to focus on the next season and their movements I think have started some time ago including for player issues. Currently they have tried to make some changes, especially for the midfield as a play maker. But indeed the problem of the coach is one of the biggest problems they have to prepare whether they will stay with Arbeloa or look for new alternatives as Madrid's next season coach and now is the right time for Madrid to work. This season is already over although they can't just let go because they also have to maintain their face as a big club where the points gap must be maintained but for the trophy they shouldn't expect too much. El Clasico is on the horizon and they should make a bigger effort to please the fans in this match because even though the trophy is not available, a win must be obtained against Barcelona even though it will be very difficult for them.

What do you think? I wouldn't be surprised at all if Barcelona lost and Real Madrid won, I don't think it would change things much considering the points gap between the two is so wide. Barcelona leads the La Liga standings with an 11-point gap over Real Madrid, clearly it will not make Barcelona lose the title this season easily even though they can also lose points in 2 consecutive matches. However, Barcelona will likely try hard to win this week's match because they want to quickly secure the La Liga title and celebrate before the season ends. I'm not expecting any surprises, but I'm also curious to know what kind of surprises you're expecting from these two matches? Barcelona has a reasonable chance of winning against Osasuna, as does Real Madrid, but I would be surprised if anyone was brave enough to bet on Osasuna and Espanyol winning with big stake.
