I agree with you. Atletico madrid's overall performance this season has been quite good. I never imagined that Atletico madrid would qualify  for the semi-finals of the champions league. Atlético Madrid was able to perform well against Arsenal in the semi-final as well. Atletico madrid is in the top 4 of the la liga points table. Atletico madrid had a big chance of winning the copa del rey title. But they lost against real sociedad. I would say that was probably  Simeone's only failure. They have played enough well in la liga and champions league.

Atletico Madrid did better than last season and even making it to the semi finals they did well because no Spanish club made it that far and that is why we are acknowledging them even if they were removed by arsenal they did all they could just to see if they will make it tonthe finals and if they can put energy into this then they should not have any problem, they might even be the onces to fight real madrid and Barcelona and tip for is not that bad and they can do better than this and they would have even made it to the top three because of what we saw.

At some point I was looking at them that Atletico madrid might even be threat to other clubs and things need to change in the la Liga it as always be real madrid and Barcelona but soon a lot of things ia going to change because they will need some one to do better it to be more competitive than what it is now.

Now I'm seeing another news report saying that these two players fought again, and it seems that this time the fight was more serious, to the point that Fede Valverde ended up in the hospital. This kind of thing is something I never expected to read about Real Madrid. It's very serious and shameful. I don't know how things got to this point; perhaps these players, because they don't respect the coach, have become uncontrollable. The petition from fans is not only chaos in Real Madrid now. Recent weeks, their star players began to more severely separated with each other, there are different group of players that did not want to talk with each other, there are conflicts among Arbeloa and many star players (about 6 at least), and Ruidiger even slapped to the face of one staff on field in a training session.

It seems internal conflicts in Real Madrid are escalating very quickly and nearly reach to out of control level, and this season seems to be too long for many star players there. They knew that this season is a severe failure and there is World Cup 2026 in coming weeks, so they no longer want to have risk of any injury during these days.

About Mbappe, he is too arrogant and selfish, so his appearance in Real Madrid so far does not make any positive effects on their squad and performance quality, while his departure made PSG stronger and more competitive.

Also it is not important if the signatures are from the Madrid fans or not, it is important to remember that we are dealing with something that is going to be making a question in the mind of Mbappe, and other players. So the rift will grow even bigger between everyone.

Remember, this is very clear for everyone that before Mbappe arrived almost with the same team they won 2 UCL titles, with maybe just couple of player differences, and even without a striker, their striker was like Joselu, so they still won, and PSG was failing to win UCL at the time with Mbappe, for many years. Then Mbappe moved to Real Madrid, and now Real Madrid is failing for two years in a row now, and PSG won one, and about to win another one.

This is a clear sign of frustration, how can the dressing room be okay when the club is not okay even, I'm not really surprised about this news because it have been long anticipated, I was even thinking it will come from either Kylian Mbappe or Vinicius, the above players mentioned was not even in the picture, but I just hope they resolve it real quick, to avoid some set back in the Real Madrid team, and talking about losing game to Barcelona, either fight or not fight you and I knew too well that Barcelona is gonna win Real Madrid so let's not use the fight as an excuse.

It was a big mistake for the Madrid management to sack Alonso and make Arbeloa the manager. Alonso may not have  been the perfect manager for the Madrid squad. But he was definitely a bit more experienced than Arbeloa. Anyway, now the Madrid management is looking for a new manager. Rumors are that the Madrid  management is interested in mourinho. Madrid definitely needs an experienced manager. Mourinho is quite experienced. But it is not sure  if he can succeed with madrid at the moment. Mourinho was not  successful with Fenerbahce and Roma.

The players are feeling too big to be controlled, Real Madrid are seriously going through very disturbing moments, it is now the right time for the management to take deliberate measures to ensure the club returns back to it's best form.

An older coach that can enforce discipline to the entire squad, strict rules that the players has to succumb and any one faulting the rule will be severely punished, despite player status or position in the club.

Real Madrid of course should reconsider about the Mbappe decision, but the sad thing is that he is a really really good player, and in normal cases you should not be really considering selling such a player at all. But with the way things are going, and how the team is not happy with him, it does look like he is getting alone and he is not getting any love from the teammates.

This could make things harder for them and could make them be forced to sell him if they have to. No idea how that would work, but they should first try to make sure players can get better together, if that does not work, then they will have to sell him.

I concur with 80% of what you're saying. But "arrogant and selfish" as the explanation for Mbappe doesn't actually get us anywhere does it. The guy scored 24 goals. That's not the type of person that "doesn't contribute". That's not the problem at all. He scores, but he doesn't defend in any way at all. In today's football that is a structural failure. Because everyone else has to cover for him.

Bellingham was once their leading player, and now barely scores. Rodrygo? One league goal all season long. Not because they lost their sense of play, but because the whole system was reorganized around one person's tastes.

There is a media war going on behind all of this, which no one is discussing enough. His camp leaks stuff to the French press, criticizing the club's medical team. The club leaks stuff to the Spanish press making him look uncommitted. Both sides are preparing their departure claims in public, in our very presence, and as if they were not.

Mbappe knew before his transfer what kind of pressure he would be under at Real Madrid, and judging by the way he calmly answers provocative questions in interviews, he is mentally in perfect order. There's no need to even mention Real Madrid's management - fans are always unhappy with something (especially when it comes to a club with such high standards as Real Madrid) and this doesn't surprise anyone.

imo Mourinho is the best way out for Real Madrid. there was a very similar situation during his first stint at the club.
As soon as Mourinho took over, he first shipped out legends like Guti and Raul. then, he even benched another giant icon, Casillas. He essentially ripped out the big teeth of the squad, kicking and screaming. by bringing in players like Mesut Özil, Khedira, Di Maria, Varane, and later Modric, he laid down a magnificent foundation...

It is beginning to look like the management of this club have more interest in the players and cares and regard them more tha the managers who are managing them and that's why the players will keep doing what they like in the dressing room to the point of bringing a shameful act to the club. How will supposed respected players who are playing for one of the top clubs in the world and not the Spanish league alone will engage in a physical fight to the point of hospitalizing the other and the management has not taken any strong decisions yet to have them punished accordingly. Mbappe is a great player. He has the ability to score a lot. There is no doubt about that. But I think he ruins the dressing room atmosphere. He doesn't give enough respect to managers. And always prioritizes his own desires.

What's happening at Real madrid at present is not a coincidence or a surprise to me because the team is full of spoilt brat, so division will always creep into the group at a point, that is why I think that florentino Perez has to share more of the blame because he is the one that emboldened these spoilt brats by sacking xabi Alonso just to please them, when he was trying to put them in their place, so florentino Perez  is largely to be blame for these chaos happening in the club because his bunch of spoilt brat has grown wings more than expected.

Done section of the fans felt that his the problem of the team and wants him out, they raised a poll and wanted signature of about 200k to sign the Mbappe out poll but what's shocking is that, within 2 hours it got over 1.5 million signatures. That's massive, a poll of 200k excessively exceeded the proposed numbers in just few hours. I fell maybe it's not just Real Madrid fans that made this vote other club fans could have voted as well considering the kind of rivalry they have, I might be wrong though.

The issue of Mbappe is always brought up as if he's the source that brought Madrid to where they are now but in fact there are other parts of the club that don't have to be all about Mbappe because at the end of the day the club is not doing well internally and that's what's making the performance even more stretched and not going well.

At the moment there are a lot of rumors about players being at loggerheads including when rumors are flying about Rudiger and Careras or some other players.
 
I think for now Madrid need to keep that calm in order to build good chemistry but when it's not there then it's going to continue to be annoying. Internally they have a lot of problems and at the moment Madrid can't fix that but because Mbappe is currently one of the stars then he will be the target including for petitions that occur.
