Personally, I think Alvarez will be off them for now because of their financial difficulties but if they can meet up, he will be a very good addition to the team. Barcelona is terrible financially. They know it's impossible to catch Alvarez to be their next striker. It's because Atletico already gated him for more than 100m. So they're now considering Alvarez alternative, which is Pedro from Chelsea. I don't think there is anything different from what they play this season from what they have been playing before now. In yesterday's Barcelona and Real Betis match, neither team had a specific goal it was simply a game to close out the season, and they were there just to finish the season with a good win.

I have being going through this thread and I am surprised  that no one is talking about the race for the Conference league between Rayo Vallecano, Getafe and Valencia. Theses three teams are separated by just one point each, every one has a chance to qualify for the Conference league next season. I wanted Valencia to qualify but looking at last fixture, it is almost impossible for them because they have Barcelona to play, it will not be easy for them at all and they still have to pray that Getafe lose and Rayo Vallecano draw.

Although Alaves beat Barcelona recently,, so they can still replicate and win. Rayo Vallecano is one match away from winning the Conference league and are also one game away from qualifying for it next season. Rayo Vallecano are playing against Alaves who are fighting to stay in Laliga so it won't also be easy for them. I am not so sure that this is universally correct to say that Mourinho is the wrong guy in modern day football. In my opinion Arsenal is playing some of the most ugly football ever. They score less than 2 goals per game and that is definitely not good and probably quite the Mourinho style. But the whole Premier League wasn't exactly outstanding so far. Under normal circumstances Manchester City would have won it, but they made unexpectedly many mistakes.

A for La Liga, I think Barcelona is just the more balanced team. It is not so much about the coach..They have all these young talents and Real Madrid usually has to buy players and if it doesn't work out, they are screwed. Totally agree. ppl are judgin his tactics before he even signs the paper lol. Real Madrid hierarchy inst stupid, they know what they are doin. Let the man work a few games first
