I believe that at this moment most of the Real Oviedo players are focused on getting signed by teams that will remain in La Liga. There is no big competition in the last round. The title has already been won by Barcelona and the top 5 teams have already qualified for the Champions League. Now only Getafe and Rayo Vallecano will fight for qualification in the Conference League and Girona and Elche will fight to avoid relegation. Moreover, there is no competition in La Liga now.

There is definitely a question mark over the quality of the La Liga clubs this season. Real Madrid is going through the worst time and Barcelona is not in a better situation. Both teams need to work on improving their team quality and dominate the Champions League competition. Hopefully Atletico Madrid will be consistent enough in the upcoming season.

I don't think Athletico Madrid will even think of letting him go, no not now, like Diego Simeone is really preventing some kind of things from that team, and the confidence they have in him can not be matched to anyone, like who exactly will be suitable to replace him, if he decides to leave, so long as I know there are no guarantee coaches out there so they will hold on to Diego Simeone till he decides within himself to leave, by then they will be thinking about to get themselves a better replacement for him, but while he's still at the team they've got no worries about anything coach.

Every team aside from the relegation battle teams, already started to think about next year. Who they want as their coach, who should be the staff, who should they sell and who should they buy etc. Barcelona already knows that they do not want Lewandowski, and they are probably not parting ways with De Jong, but not giving him the same contract neither, so if De Jong asks for a lot, then they are going to end up not even getting him.

So they have this financial situation where they will be capable of paying a ton of money to some free agents. I am sure Real Madrid, with a better salary cap and money allowed to use, will spend a lot more, hundreds of millions of euros, just to fix whatever was wrong with the team in the past two years.

From Sevilla down to Mallorca isn't safe, it's only been Real Oviedo that's confirmed to be relegated but the other seven are in contention for relegation, this final match day will be something else for these teams. Sevilla will play against Celta de Vigo, Celta on their own are well positioned for the Europa league spot as wether they win or lose doesn't affect them in anyway. Girona will battle Elche who are two points above them, a win for Girona means they will not face relegation this season. The games today amongst these threatened teams will be so competitive, I won't be wrong if I title their matches as battle of relegation.

It's the final match for Arbeloa as Real Madrid manager... He has always spoken like it's his fault. Over and over again. Of course he had a role in this bad season. But he wasn't the only responsible person. The chairman Perez played a bigger role in this.

I think the same way too, Mallorca's fate is dependent on the result of the Girona vs Elche fixture. Girona are going to fight both blood and sweat to avoid going into relegation, all Mallorca should be praying for is a miracle, the other teams in 42 points with the same goal difference to lose their own game, only the slightest of luck can save Mallorca, i don't see Girona losing tonight in the last game.

I am really curious whether Vedat Muriqi can beat Kylian Mbappé in the race for La Liga's top scorer this season. So far, the gap stands at just 2 goals between Vedat Muriqi and Kylian Mbappé, while both players were fielded from the start by their respective teams. Kylian Mbappé leads the scoring charts with 24 goals, he clearly wants to win the award himself, but I think Muriqi poses the most genuine threat and is likely to go all-in to help his team stay in La Liga next season. If Muriqi manages to claim the top scorer spot, it would be incredibly special for him, especially if his team manages to stay in La Liga next season.
