Kylian Mbappe is not to be held accountable for the declined in performance of Real Madrid over the past two seasons. They're not entirely wrong. Florentino won many trophies during his time at Real Madrid. We all know the star players he brought in. He signed very good players and kept the team at a high level. The unsuccessful results of the last two years at Real Madrid have become even more of a source of ambition for him. He's now more focused on achieving success. The have been like this for sometime and has been managing it to maintain this tempo, yes they did pay messi high then but that's because they saw his potentials, people can be very funny, they needed messi then and the only way to keep him to keep paying him all his entitlements, so what people feel about such spending doesn't matter, it is just the decision of the club, although it affected them alot but they also benefitted from the deal.

It's very interesting that a budget of 1.4 billion euros wasn't enough; that's a huge amount of money for renovations and building improvements. They spent it as if they were building a new building from scratch.
