Is not about him giving up but the management could see things differently and change him, Mourinho is not the kind of manager that doesn't win any trophy with whichever club he manages, only at Spurs that he lost the chance of winning a title and we shouldn't forget that Mourinho is a man that has so many records that some managers could not keep. Xabi took charge of the team with the same confidence but he could not last long. I have no doubt about Mourinho experience but how he will control the valuable players in the team and how much the team management will trust him to make bold decisions is also a matter of consideration. I agree that in the coming season we will see more of Mbappé's performance, and he's a good attacker who's flexible in the front and has the ability to create more chances in the team, he's an attacker that has worked hard to bring the best to every team he's playing in and players like Victor Osimhen are also good because they always fight through difficult situations and look to influence the game for their team in any way possible. But just as you have said, it's not just about how a player performs on the pitch alone that matters, interaction and respect for teammates and how to handle the dressing room and good management can go a long way to influence and positively improve the performance of the team, a team like Real Madrid have the pressure that will make any player perform to his best. The reason for the appointment of Jose Mourinho, in my opinion, is one of them to fix the chaotic dressing room last season.  He is a respected coach, and if any player dares to oppose him, then I think that player will immediately accept the consequences.  In the past there were some players who had to be on the bench, not because they didn't deserve to play, but because they made mistakes.

A coach’s harshness toward their players rarely leads to good results. I much prefer the approach of Guardiola or Klopp. In my view, they are emotionally balanced people who know how to work with a team. When a coach adopts a tougher approach, even temporarily, the relationship between the coach and the players can deteriorate.

In my opinion, I don't think there's anything wrong with the current squad except for leadership failure within the team and the management which is why the club seems to be underperforming in the last couple of seasons.
Florentino Perez knows this and that is why he decided to contract Jose Mourinho in order to help bring back the players up to speed and to also bring back the spirit of competition within the squad, which I believe the club lacks right now. Although the new additions to the teams is also a plus.

What more do you want from a stricker on the pitch than scoring goals, of course it an agenda. Vini was facing same agenda before Mbappe came. This is the same player that has been the leading scorer since his arrival at the club.

All these he his having issues at France national team started since he move to Real Madrid, it was same psg/France fans that are not happy about his move that are pushing that agenda. When he was at PSG we never had that he had issues at the national team.

I don't think Real Madrid president will even try it to sack Mourinho to replace him with another coach, because the coach keep signing potential players that will not hard Real Madrid to sell in case they want to release them for sale. When I was listening to Real Madrid coach speech concerning next season, he was very bold in his speech that what happened this season will not going to repeat itself again.

Many clubs are waiting for Real Madrid president to pronounce their coach release, that is when you will see clubs that will be coming after the coach, because they know that the coach have experience to build players to begin to display well to secure good result in the future.
