Am very certain that real Madrid will definitely improve because the whole settings will change with the team since the new manager is no nonsense manager and he will definitely correct so many errors that have been going on with the club and that's something am certain that he will do, he will for sure put everyone to their place and make the error right because Mourinho is a man with lots of experience in managing superstars.

It is indeed very difficult to unite the egos of the players, especially in the Real Madrid squad which has many star players, but I am very sure that Mourinho can overcome this problem because Mourinho has proven it from the experience he has shown so far and I am even sure that this is what Real Madrid management is considering to reappoint Mourinho as their coach.

Jose Mourinho's preparations for the team haven't been fully tested yet because the players are still at the World Cup. They'll probably go on vacation after the World Cup. I think they'll evaluate the situation with the coach when they return. After trying out tactics, they'll decide what changes are necessary at Real Madrid. I think relying more on individual brilliance has been a Real Madrid style of football over the years. During the 2016-18 seasons that they won the 3-peat in the UEFA Champions League, they relied so much on individual brilliance of the super talented players in the team then. But that's not been working in recent times for the team especially since Kylian Mbappe arrived. Real Madrid without doubt has a very good team but they need a manager like Jose Mourinho to unite the team, force discipline and bring out the best from the players. With the arrival of the Portuguese manager, I expect Madrid to have a better campaign next season than we've seen in the last two seasons.

I can relate to this so well. Last season Liverpool made the highest signing in the premier league but got lucky to finish in place for champion league football. If premier league club do not have 5 slot due to the other teams doing well in European competition, Liverpool wouldn't have qualified for the champion league. I think good signing won't determine a league winner. A consistent team will be the winner.

Exactly, its just about consistency and Liverpool was just lucky with the 5th sloth, and don't think they will be qualified next season if they didn't perform well except they will be lucky again, if not, there is nothing to show forth again. Sometimes it still comes to my mind that Barcelona has really spent 80 million euros on Anthony Gordon. That's a very high risk man...    I don't think he is actually worth that much.

The problem they had was that Raphinha and Yamal may miss games, and they needed just one guy to replace them both, and 80 million is cheap considering that. The player that plays wings as a "bench" player for that team, plays more than the starters combined.

Because if there are 50 games and Raphinha misses 20 of them and plays in 30 of them, and Yamal misses 20 games and plays in 30 of them, that means they each played in majority of the games they could, but at the same time because it was 20 each, Gordon gets to play 40 games and more then both of them. I mean it may not be that clear, but in the end we have seen Rashford play so many games last season, I am expecting something similar from Gordon.

Players need a break, especially after representing their respective countries, so it takes time for them to return to their clubs after adequate rest and recover from fatigue. Jose Mourinho is a great coach and I'm confident he will make a difference for Real Madrid next season as long as he's given the trust and continues to add depth to the squad as needed.
