I agree with you, replacing players of that calibre is really difficult. What’s more, we can add that the cost of some players has now reached levels that some teams simply cannot afford. There are English teams that spend as much as 100 million on one player easily, whilst in Spain, apart from Real Madrid and Barcelona, other teams might struggle.

Exactly and for me they have fixed the most important part of the team. That midfield and the defense were giving them a lot of issues, I can remember so many match that they struggled because of those areas. This is the problem, you don't look for a replacement for a player that has left but you form another player that are better than those who have left. When Messi left Barcelona for PSG, didn't they say Barcelona was finished? Real Madrid dominated the league for 2 seasons and Atletico even had one before them but they went back, do some preparation and for two seesons now, they have never relent in the way they have been winning the League.

This becomes very obvious when, for instance, you watch matches from different leagues particularly when comparing Serie A and La Liga, you immediately get the impression that the players in Serie A are practically walking. As a Barcelona fan, all I can say is that we are COOKED!! If Cucurella chooses to play as good as he played yesterday, just superb Fullback and infact a good game played all through, that guys physicality and stamina is just unmatched and him facing Yamal is going to be a menace. Spain team adopted a very constructive and great strategy to face France. They did not rush to score goals. The team just waited and entered the box and waited for the right situation. The team did not waste time by shooting randomly but played small passes and played a tactical role against the dynamic attacking football of France. I was almost sure that France might qualify for the final but they did not create any strong position. To win in football, it is not only about being dynamic and strong, sometimes strategy is more effective to win. We observed that situation in the match between France and Spain.

World Cup appearances can't always be used as a benchmark when playing for a club. Because players' conditions aren't always the same. A lot of things could happen. Madrid brought in Mourinho so he could manage the stars. So I think players' performance at the club will depend on their coach. You are very correct,  this is one thing about  the French side, they keep you on your toes to want to make hasty attempt after which they take over and stay ahead of you, but if you are able to take over the tempo of the game and bring them to play under your rhythm just like the Spanish side did, they become almost Toothless. If Spain goes with same logic against the team they get to meet in the finals,  their chances of winning definitely stays high up there.
