Yeah expectations are really do high, but I would say that new players alone won’t guarantee success, i think getting the team to play as a unit will be Real Madrid biggest challenge. Jose Mourinho has been in Real Madrid for long. Gordon is a good and quality player, he also helped his team last season in the UCL, but I think €80m is too much for him, I don't know how Barca reluctantly agreed such amount. On the other hand, Barcelona is a club that likes to sign youngsters and mould them in their own way, maybe they have a plan in mind before signing Gordon for such amount, they might improve him even better.

Adeyimi has been too quiet in Dortmund, he didn't have a good season there, he is very lucky he signed for a club like Barca where he can easily link up. I am sure he will play more as CF in Barca, because they already have two good wingers.

The chemistry should be about the unity of the players all coming together to play as a team without having divided interests both in and outside the dressing room, this was just one major part of the problem of the poor performance Real Madrid team was having last season. In a team where there's no internal unity among the players there would definitely be some communication gaps which will hamper good footballing in the arena. Hopefully for next season all of this would be a thing of the past with the Special One on boarding the ship.

Anthony Gordon's performance in the current World Cup so far is not wrong to say that he was great, his performance against Argentina was also relatively good. Mourinho should be given a specific time frame to improve the team, only then will it be important to properly carry out his professional duties. He has got a ready team that has a lot of public support for the team and many fans want to see the team improve. The task for Mourinho will not be that difficult but it will not be as easy as we think. There is still time left for the start of the upcoming season and he has already started his duties. I think he will be able to improve Real Madrid further because he has been involved in different clubs for a long time and has been successful in his duties. His first task will be to restore discipline to the team and improve the defence.

Rashford left, but Gordon arrived, I see that as an upgrade. Lewandowski left, but he missed a lot of the season due to injuries. They still need to find a replacement for him, but I think they’ll manage, they’re working on signing Alvarez. As for Real Madrid, they just changed coaches and brought in Silva from City. Those are minor changes, and besides, we don't know how Real will play under Mourinho, it seems to me there are more questions than answers at this stage.

Of course this will change especially we know for now Mou is one of the coaches who for me is quite pragmatic. He won't care about the beautiful game or anything because the most important thing for him is the result and this could have been adapted directly by Madrid this season but with some good emphasis in the flow of the ball in midfield as well as relying on the speed of the two wingers and the sharpness of Mbappe as a targetman.

The same pattern that we had in the Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Ozil/Di Maria era before may be adapted again this season as Vini, Mbappe and another winger who for me is still uncertain will now return to the pedestal with Bernardo as part of the driving force in midfield.

People are having high expectations of Mourinho because they know what he can do. He has coached many top clubs before, and he has a good record. So, it is his past record that people are looking at currently to predict what he is capable of doing at Real Madrid now.Fans are also looking at the kind of players Real Madrid have. It will not be that hard for him to bring Real Madrid back to their great form, as he is known as an experienced and disciplined coach. What Real Madrid really need is an experienced and disciplined coach who can control those players.

Marcos Rashford was a very formidable player the Manchester United team was anchored on. He was very obedient and responsive, taking responsibilities when necessary. But overtime, he allowed arrogance to set in and he started missing trainings and reporting when he wanted. Ruben Amorim saw him as ungovernable because his form was already bad, so why mis training sections without due permission. Overtime, Rashford started granting unwarranted attentions to the media and even openly declaring how he was happy to leave Manchester United when he was sent on loan to Barcelona. He thought he had secured a permanent move since Lewandowski was leaving and intensified his provocative speeches against the Manchester United team. This led to fans not wanting him back Moreover his performance was also dropping too.

You're very correct. Barcelona has to get a good signing to replace Lewandowski against next season or risk loosing their grip on real Madrid who are active in the transfer market. With the arrival of Cucurella, Barcelona will need a very good striker to break their defense always. Majority of the players of interest to replace Lewandowski in Barcelona don't look like deals that will go through including Alvarez, Gyokeres, Harry Kane or even João Pedro of Chelsea. Atletico Madrid may never want to release Alvarez as there's no sign that the club is interested in letting the Argentine go. For me I think the best replacement would have been going for Erling Haaland of Manchester city now that Pep Guardiola is out, they can easily convince him on personal terms and he will be almost a perfect replacement.

These "strange" investments make you think a lot about how money is literally burned, everyone is free to spend as they wish, but Rashford was a good deal, affordable price and a great player, nothing to envy Gordon.
With the difference of £50 million they could have made some more investment in new players to develop, because young and very young talent is almost ignored by big teams.

You have a point, Mourinho will definitely need the support of the players and the clubs management to effectively implement his playing style in the club and because of the big stars in the club, it might be a little bit difficult but if he can effectively manage the dressing room, he will definitely enjoy his stay in the club as a manager and also if the players can work together as one, they will also do well next season. Real Madrid will do well but we just have to wait to see what they will turn out to be in the coming season. All what we are saying is valid but it all depends on them.
