Gordon played very well at the World Cup, and I think Flick is happy with this acquisition. I think a player like him will definitely strengthen Barcelona's attack. He may have actually played better than Rashford at this World Cup, so I can say Flick made the right choice. And Rashford looks like he's heading back to Manchester United. At least he will definitely spend the off-season after the World Cup with Manchester United.
Gordon and Marcus Rashford played very well at the World Cup, what makes it look like Gordon was better than Rashford was because Tuchel gave him more playing time, which he make very good of by helping England win matches in difficult situations. I believe Rashford would have equally did the same thing if he had played more minutes than Gordon. There are rumours that Fenerbahçe wants to sign Rashford but Rashford has made it clear that he won't be moving to Turkish Super league, so with no club being interested in him right now, after the end of the World Cup he will head back to Manchester United.

Snip.
The expectations on Mourinho is just too much. Everyone out there just want to see a drastic change in the games of Real Madrid from what used to look disoriented like we saw through out last season to what will be more organized, formidable and result driven. Real Madrid has one of the strongest squad formation now in La Liga plus Mourinho which has not started the new season but already has great hopes in him. I also do honestly and expect to see him outperform the previous coach and the one before him but it also depends on how far and well the management of the club supports him in his time. Jose Mourinho already had a big burden on his shoulders before officially leading Real Madrid on the sidelines, Real Madrid management and fans demanded him to create a team with a steely mentality, UCL champions with neat tactics. Even though, as we saw last season, Real Madrid was like a ship without a captain, chaotic in transition, easily conceding goals and lacks the identity of a team ready to win a title. It was difficult for him to make Real Madrid performance change drastically in a short time from previously very chaotic to an organized team. He must create a team that is mostly made up of top players to build chemistry and unite egos to achieve the same goal. If management gives him time and gives him the freedom to recruit the players he wants, perhaps Real Madrid can become a team that is difficult to beat again.

But after I understand what you're saying that with Mourinho's presence they will be better at providing benefits to the team they play for. There needs to be a coach who is firm in intervening with these two players. Therefore in appointing Mourinho as coach for next season I think the management made the right decision to return Mourinho to the role of coach having previously managed a team with a quite impressive history in all competitions.
Mourinho is the right coach for Real Madrid in this historical period, because he knows how to talk to the players and knows how to make them lower their crest, he reminds them where they are and who they are representing, thus creating a united group which is what is needed to make Real Madrid return to the compact and competitive group that it has always been.

“Joan Laporta is a good friend and he already knows where Julián Alvarez is going to play next season”. “Let me insist: Julián is our player and will be our player next season”.
These are not my words. These are the words of Atlético Madrid president Cerezo. This is a call to clubs showing interest to understand that Alvarez is not for sale. He will play for Atlético Madrid next season. Barcelona and Arsenal will have no choice but to shift their interest to a new striker.
I hope Cerezo stands by his word. After all, Barcelona is still trying to persuade Alvarez to join them. Even after their initial €100 million offer was rejected, Barcelona submitted another offer, raising the price to €150 million. I don’t know if the Alvarez transfer saga has now come to an end following the Atlético Madrid president’s firm statement that Alvarez is not for sale. I hope Barcelona and Arsenal stop pursuing Alvarez.

I agree with you on this, Mourinho is the best manager to bring for Real Madrid right now because of the players that are misbehaving and disrespecting each other in and out of the pitch, he will bring them back together and he’s the manager that can manage and discipline the players. It has shows that he’s ready to take the responsibility of bringing the team back and start winning trophies again like Real Madrid we used to know and give us the vibes of old Real Madrid.

Which of the players do you expect him to sell because Perez said that Real Madrid isn't selling Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham. Real Madrid should focus on building a strong midfield and defense which is what Mourinho is doing right now. If all angles are strong, there wouldn't be any problem in the dressing room because the players know that they're all important to each other.
I think that Real Madrid is the team that uses the saying more than any other (all useful, no one indispensable) Because in a club like this you are either ready to give your all in every single match and in every single training session and demonstrate that you want to stay there, or you become expendable, so apart from those listed there are no players who are worthy of note to the point of being unshakable..

Real Madrid is the team where any player aspires to play, it is the team that represents victory and raw competition, if you go to Real you know you have reached the top, from a team like this you expect much more than what it has given in recent years, it is a team that wins but struggles, that plays but does not play, There is a need for more certainty at Madrid and Mourinho could be the right certainty.
I absolutely agree, Real Madrid has experienced a generational change which i believe has led to a general destabilization, moving on to senators like Marcelo, Benzema, Ramos etc. to people like Ceballos, Camavinga, Tchouameni etc.. It was too abrupt and sudden a change, Real Madrid needs those experienced players to lead the team.

Real Madrid needs a strong leader to handle the ego’s between the players in the locker room. Most especially When players think they are bigger than the club, Mourinho is the perfect coach to bring them back and remind them of the shirt they wear. He is not afraid of famous names, and he demands hard work and complete respect for the team. This strict discipline is exactly what is needed to fix a split squad and get everyone focused on winning again. By doing this, Mourinho can rebuild the fighting team spirit that made Real Madrid so great. In the past He is amazing at making players stick together and fight for each other like a real family on the pitch.

Real Madrid need a player like Rodri, i know he is not in the same age but anyone that watched Rodri in this World Cup knows that he is a Rodri that deserves the Ballon Dior, he is the one that is helping Spain in that midfield, if Mourinho make the same mistake Alonso and Arbeloa make by not asking for a good midfielder he will not succeed in Real Madrid as he want because those players does not have the ability to win a trophy.
in real madrid and pure talent but they lack that link between attack and defense, they have excellent players in midfield like Valverde and Bellingham but they are not suited to the role of playmakers as they are both very offensive, they need a dribbling and controlling player, who knows how to free up spaces and with excellent vision of the game, we will see what changes in the transfer market.

Yeah expectations are really do high, but I would say that new players alone won’t guarantee success, i think getting the team to play as a unit will be Real Madrid biggest challenge. New signings can only have impart if Only Mourinho improves in their defense, attack and midfield.before then new signings can come in
Yes, basically,, Real Madrid doesn't need to bring in too many new players right now, because Real Madrid already has a lot of star players. But what Mourinho must focus on at Real Madrid right now is teamwork. Because if Real Madrid can't maintain good teamwork,, it will certainly make them have a poor performance next season. Because currently, that is the main trigger for their poor performance. So, for that reason, I don't think Mourinho needs to focus too much on bringing in too many new players at Real Madrid. Because currently, Real Madrid already has a lot of player resources, and all that remains is to think about how to ensure the existing players can play well as a team. Because that is a vital point that must be improved right now. Maybe right now, bringing in a defender is a good thing, but I don't think Real Madrid really needs anything else right now. But I don't know what Mourinho will do at Real Madrid now. So we'll see, and I hope the results are pretty good.

I hope Barcelona and Arsenal stop pursuing Alvarez. Alvarez can be bought with the right amount. Cerezo wont reject a bid of €200 million for Julian Alvarez. It will be a record-breaking signing in the summer transfer window. But if Cerezo still proves stubborn. Junior Kroupi is there for Arsenal to grab. There are many strikers in the window that Arsenal and Barcelona can sign. The reality is that both teams are in desperate need of a striker.

Jose Mourinho is one top manager that is popularly known as one of the best in managing players with big ego's , and coming to real madrid shows that florentino Perez knows that he is the best man that can take this real madrid team forward. The likes of kylian mbappé, vinicius junior and Bellingham that are tough players to manage will have to be humble and work towards the betterment of the team, because Jose Mourinho would not take rubbish from them. I expect him to be a success this season with real madrid because they have all the players in their ranks to do so, and the addition of Marc cucurella in their defense will really help to solidify their defense this season, so I believe that they will not go trophyless this season under Jose Mourinho.

Moreover, Mourinho has prepared the team very well for next season, as the players he has signed are of high quality and have extensive experience. I have one hope: that Mourinho can win at least one trophy so that Real Madrid doesn't go through another trophy less season.
As we know, Real Madrid plays to win everything it can win, this has always been the club's mentality, especially in the era of Florentino Perez who made this club win everything it could win over and over again, rightfully entering the history of football. after the last sweet and loving seasons, Real Madrid must return to demonstrate who they are.

This saying is not only true for Real Madrid but for every team because whenever a team becomes overly dependent on one player, the distance between that star player and the other players increases. I will give the example of PSG, which does not have many star players but has built a great team overall. They are not overly dependent on one or two players. In recent times and in the past two seasons, Real Madrid has become overly dependent on Mbappe and Vinicius, which is why they are not getting good results. They have not been able to maintain their position on that saying.

Mourinho is a very experienced manager. Although he was unsuccessful with the last few clubs. But Real madrid needed an experienced manager to stabilize real madrid. At the same time, mourinho also has previous experience of managing Real madrid. He knows very well how to control a squad with many star players. This experience will help madrid. If the bonding between the players is strong, then madrid's performance will undoubtedly return to stability.

It's too early to assume Mourinho is the right coach for Real Madrid, at least for now, as he hasn't proven anything since the management appointed him as Arbeloa successor. His decisiveness and experience allow the players to submit to Mourinho system, but if at the end of the season they are unable to win a trophy, he will be considered a failure. Coaching Real Madrid is not the same as coaching AS Roma or Tottenham, fans and management always demand trophies every season, while for the two teams I mentioned above, finishing in the top four is already an extraordinary achievement. I'm still pessimistic about Real Madrid ability to win trophies in Mourinho first season in charge, as Barcelona, under Hansi Flick guidance, is also improving its strength. Management must give Mourinho time to get Real Madrid back to its best, especially as the title race has become increasingly tough lately, especially in the Champions League, which has become more competitive since Luis Enrique successfully led PSG to win the competition for two consecutive seasons.

I think people are beginning to judge with just two games because Julian Alvarez World Cup started for me when he scored against Switzerland in the quarter final and his impressive runs against England in Semis but let’s be realistic he was poor before then and even during the just concluded season where he scored just 8 league titles. Yes ideally any player within this category of transfer fee should be player who has scored double digit of goals but he didn’t because he had a bad season. But Barcelona and other clubs are not only looking at him base on his current form but rather is overall class, we all know what they say, form is temporary but class is permanent and that’s why Alvarez is definitely the to go for a ball playing clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal but his current valuation by Atletico is outrageous to me

Why do you think Barcelona has become weaker and Real Madrid stronger, what has changed so drastically to lead you to that conclusion? In my opinion, Barcelona certainly hasn't gotten weaker. Rashford left, but Gordon arrived, I see that as an upgrade. Lewandowski left, but he missed a lot of the season due to injuries. They still need to find a replacement for him, but I think they’ll manage, they’re working on signing Alvarez. As for Real Madrid, they just changed coaches and brought in Silva from City. Those are minor changes, and besides, we don't know how Real will play under Mourinho, it seems to me there are more questions than answers at this stage.
Gordon is a good investment for the future of course. But they paid a quite high amount for him. I think his being English also played a big role in that. Because honestly I don't believe he is worth €80m for real now. Gordon is an upgrade compared to Rashford in the long term in deed. Adeyemi is another transfer and I'm not sure about him yet. Because his career has been going on in a negative direction so far. Let's see if he revives it at Barcelona... Indeed, English players are famous for their fantastic transfer values, so it's no surprise that Anthony Gordon transfer value is quite high, even though his performance hasn't been particularly impressive. However, Barcelona seems to see potential in this player, so they're willing to risk a significant amount of money to see how he can contribute to the club, rather than signing Rashford permanently. In my opinion Barcelona doesn't want to lose out to Real Madrid, so they're willing to spend money to acquire the best players even though they are still not completely over the financial crisis they are facing, no matter what Barcelona must recruit players to keep up with Real Madrid next season.
