i personally think they paid the right amount, he is a good striker that can be moulded to be a great striker. he is relatively younger and when he spends time with barca he will become a very great player infact he already is. the goal he scored against argentina was good anad maturely shot. personally i see alot of potential in him.

Striker? Gordon is no striker man just because he played as a CF in a part of his games of his career. He is mainly a LW and I expect him to be used there mostly.

.Jose Mourinho is a reliable coach and i think he will be proven as the right person or a right decision as the new coach of Real Madrid he will try to give his best performance so that the way he can show his authenticity and reliability. Because Ream Madrid is a strong team and I think they just need a coach who can understand their problems and the  causes which pushed them back. And with this current squad they can do much better as there is players who are too good and also willing to see their team at a significant position. If the tactics of jose Mourinho works perfectly than i think it will be not difficult for Real Madrid to compete in both La Liga and the champions league. But lets see how his policy and he will work with the team and what output will come as the expectations from him are really very high.

Barcelona can't get or sign Julian Alvarez, atletico Madrid has already made it clear that they are not going to sell him to Barcelona or any Spanish club they want him to remain in atlético Madrid because his their best player and I understand them very well no one or no club we like to sell their best player to another club, Julian Alvarez has actually made it clear that he wants to go to Barcelona but I don't think it is possible because atlético Madrid has decided not to approve it.
Barcelona really need to find a replacement for lewandowski very fast because the season is already about to start if they don't find a placement they will really suffer for it.

Gordon in this life and even in the next can and will never be an upgrade to Marcus Rashford. I may have my personal dislike for Marcus Rashford but Gordon an upgrade is simply one of the wild statements I have heard and read in a long while. I think Adeyemi becomes the starter who eventually ends up in the first eleven.

Rashford perhaps has the physical characteristics best suited to a team like Barcelona, but not due to the necessary coldness, Gordon had a truly leading season at Newcastle, personally i thought he would have stayed and would have grown further with the club, who knows if going to Spain was the right choice.

Depend on how much bid offering from Barcelona for getting Julian Alvarez, if Barcelona serious for signing Alvarez and spending up to 150 million euro I don't think Atletico Madrid will reject this offering because the players have decision to join Barcelona.

Barcelona have get fresh fund after selling Ferran Torres to PSG and I think they need around 100 million euro if want  get deal with Julian Alvarez, its great chance for Barcelona after leaving by Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres will play for PSG next season. If can't sign Julian Alvarez so far Barcelona only have one central forward Karim Adeyemi signed from Dortmund last week ago.

Rashford has been a player of continuous ups and downs and continues in this vein, he has a good period followed by a less good one, he should try to be a little more constant in his play, however he is an excellent player and it is certainly better to have him on the pitch with you rather than against, who knows how he will be in the SPL.

Sometimes i feel he even adds to all the controversy around him, unlike some players, they would have by now found a way to be consistent with a team and fix the attitude of theirs that seems to be making the whole controversy around them, but that does not seem like it in his case. A good point to note. Gordon is a winger and could have little or no effect playing as a striker, but with the current Barcelona pattern he could still play as a striker as their football is not striker-based but rather a team effort.

There are speculations that Joa Pedro has being on the list of potential striker that Barcelona is going after but Chelsea has made it clear that he is not for sell as he is seen as an asset to the club. So it is still an open position that needs replacement after the exit of Lewandowski and Barcelona should make the best of their time and opportunity for potential players.

it is rather a high risk high reward move, they took the risk of $80M but his potential is way more than that, now the question is he reaches that potential or not. i think barcelona is at a stage where they can take risks and experiment, cus you can do whatever the Fu*k you want when you are at the top.

Real Madrid is full of star players, Mbappe is not the only star player in Real Madrid so giving him a special treatment when other player who he met their are not treated that way, their will be definitely a problem.

Signing Gordon and Adeyemi is no fluke, Hansi Flick has a plan and that involves intensity of speed in the flank and am not sure he wants any player that can take on players in 1v1 situations, he wants player that will breeze through them, and he wagered that Gordon is a better choice and am going to respect that, just wait and see next season, it's going to be wonderful.

The only important role left void is the number 9 spot that is still amiss now that Feran Torres is looking on a move to PSG

Yes Gordon usually plays in the LW position. But he is capable of performing quite well. I was very surprised to see Gordon's performance in the World Cup. He performed brilliantly. Gordon also scored the only goal against Argentina in the semi-final.
Gordon is a talented player but he cannot be considered as a replacement for Lewandowski. Barcelona still needs a replacement for Lewandowski. Barcelona is trying its best to add Alvarez to the squad. Otherwise, Torres will probably play in Lewandowski's position.

I presume Mourinho already knows what’s going on with the team and has been aware they will probably employ him so he has been watching from distance and learning ways to curb their issues because it is unique What the players in the club are facing is pride and lack of sportsmanship, the selfish attitude is what is killing them and not allowing them to perform despite having all the talent and resources to do so. I hope they will be able to fix the issue with Mourinho though because I know the problem can be addressed with an experienced coach like Mourinho.
