Gordon is an upgrade compared to Rashford in the long term in deed. Adeyemi is another transfer and I'm not sure about him yet. Because his career has been going on in a negative direction so far. Let's see if he revives it at Barcelona...

Gordon in this life and even in the next can and will never be an upgrade to Marcus Rashford. I may have my personal dislike for Marcus Rashford but Gordon an upgrade is simply one of the wild statements I have heard and read in a long while. It is true that Gordon from England has been linked with Barcelona and I think this player has great technique as evidenced by his excellent performance in this World Cup. Another thing you should note is that this England player scored a goal against Argentina in the semi-final match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and in that match he played with the most aggressive and great rhythm for England. But we think that Man United player Marcos Rashford has more experience than Gordon, so maybe many will choose the Man United player. However, the England player played with the great rhythm in this World Cup, he might be able to perform in the same way for the Spanish club and bring Barcelona another title in the upcoming La Liga season.

Well, we can not say shit about their financial woes,  they will most definitely come out to cry themselves in tue future if things do not go on well. We all saw how they could not pay Robert Lewandowski for his goal bonuses, so he stopped scoring goals for a long-term unknown to us football fans lashing out at him for being poor and stuff. It was funny and not funny discovering all these. Not even my dislike can stop me from spotting a quality player and it is always Marcus over Gordon.

If such players are given the privilege to remain in the team they should exhibit such bullshit attitude under Jose Mourinho cause he won't tolerate such, he's someone that won't even mind keeping a player out of the team if he doesn't obey instructions so they should all learn to compose themselves cause they now have a coach that doesn't tolerate disrespect.

 I believe those players would be briefed about Mourinho and the actions he could take to ensure there's discipline in the team. If you think back to the period before Mbappe arrived, when Ancelotti was still in charge, Madrid looked like a very harmonious team with no obvious internal issues. Maybe there were a few problems behind the scenes that we never knew about, but Ancelotti is a calm coach who knows how to build strong chemistry within the squad and handle problems quietly. He also always protected his players from the media instead of publicly criticizing them or making a big deal out of every issue.

That's one of the reasons Ancelotti is so respected. His coaching style is very relaxed, he gives his players freedom while keeping everyone focused on the main objective. So I don't think this is simply a matter of lacking discipline.

Rashford came back to his normal performance when he moved to Barcelona I think he saw more  opportunities to challenge himself and to do better because they was the only needed tool to give him more playing time in Barcelona and the moment he was given those times he came on and prove himself I still remember his contributions to the Barcelona team in the champions League he scored great goals even though Barcelona did not end up winning the competition. Rashford is back to Manchester United it is left for the coach to decide if he will be his regular starter or not and his form will tell too.

I'm certain a lot of you don't even watch this Rashford that you guys always talk about. You just see the scoreline and see that Rashford scored and conclude that he is a good player. Rashford has not been a good player for about 3 or 4 seasons now.
Don't be fooled by goals alone.
Haven't you wondered why Gordon starts ahead of him in England? They both play the same position, and Gordon was the starter and had a better World Cup performance than him.

Rashford went to Barcelona were Flick's system helps attackers get a lot of goals. They create tons of chances. Even Ferran Torres, who is not good in my opinion, scored 20 goals. So you cannot use the 14 goals Rashford scored to say he is better than Gordon.
Of course, there are certain things Rashford is better at, but ultimately, currently, Gordon is the better player.

This can't be the reason. When Guardiola coached Barcelona he was 37 and he didn't win any league before with records all over the place. Xabi Alonso was not any coach, he was the best European coach at that time regarding what he did with Bayer Leverkusen. If the players look down upon him, it is not his problem, it is the players problem. Xabi Alonso is a respectful, communicative, polite and empathic man. What reason would any Real Madrid player have to look down on him?

Rashford was a great player in Barcelona, although I don't know really know why Barcelona did not keep him, I feel like  with the performance Rashford shows us in Barcelona he look promising in the team. But they let him go, maybe due to some financial reason, but honestly keeping could have been a good one.

However, all of the news I have been reading about the player is all about going back to Manchester United, not even going to another team talkless of saudi league, Rashford will still be a good player in Manchester United.
