Victor Gyokeress has been an incredible signing for Arsenal, despite not having good times with the club due to different pattern of games from the league he came from, he managed to score above 20 goals for Arsenal last season across all competitions, and as a new striker in new league, he really tried his best for the club, and now he has started to understand the players and their pattern of games, he can score more goals next season.

I don’t know why Arsenal is trying to sell him or exchange him for Alvarez; I don’t say that Julian Alvarez is not a good striker, but I think Gyokeress should be given some time to prove himself because he has helped Arsenal last season even without scoring number of goals fans expected him to score.

It's worthy for Barcelona to give it a try. So i tell you Gyokeres has a long term contract with Arsenal, but who knows Arsenal will sell him if Barcelona sends same offer like he did to Alvarez.
Since they prepared 120m for Alvarez. Why don't try to use such money to sign Gyokeres? It may work consider that price is far higher compared when Arsenal bought Gyokeres from Sporting CP.

I think Barcelona have several goals in pursuing Álvarez. First of all, they need a new central striker to replace Lewandowski after his departure. Secondly, by signing one of the main forwards from their direct La Liga rival, they would not only strengthen their own attack but also weaken Atlético's attacking line. That wouldn't be the case with Arsenal's striker, as signing him wouldn't have the same impact on the balance of power in La Liga.
