You are right. Mourinho is probably looking to create a balance between the players on the pitch and on the bench. Playing in multiple tournaments in a season puts extra pressure on the players who are playing regularly. It would definitely be a good decision if the team manager increased the number of good players to relieve that pressure and give the players enough rest. Yan Diomande is a good player no doubt but I still don't see him as that player Madrid should spend such amount on, if we talk about a player that does the kind of things Vinicius Jr does then it is ok but I don't think he can live up to expectations or deliver when called on. Madrid have a way of over hyping players and using big bid to make oppositions feel scared that one of the La Liga side now have a dangerous player but when it's time to show up they prefer to keep the player on the bench, is crazy, it happened to Endrick so we shouldn't forget about that part.

I think it's a bit early to conclude that Diomande we leave his formal club, a young player's price tag doesn't always reflect what they i will do immediately it often reflect their potential. As for Endrick he is still very talented and adjusting, so i don't think its fair enough to judge his madrid career already. Vinicius jr. The process of extending Vinicius' contract is still ongoing because Real Madrid does not want to lose its mainstay player for free, Vinicius also still wants to play with Madrid but he is asking for a better salary in the new contract. I think they are still on negotiation stage, because last time I saw news related to that was when they have not agree with his demand. Vinicius is still very important for Real Madrid which I am sure they will come together before the season begins, Mourinho is planning to be at the top of every competition in this coming season that is why he is busy strengthening his squad, he doesn't want to rely on any player to avoid disappointment in the process, because cases like that always ruin every process most especially when the league is about to end.
