Mourinho will not be like the other coach because he always have a back up plan no matter the circumstance, and Mourinho is not coaching base on star player, he is coaching base on hardwork and the effort players put into in the game. which if the players get injured or leave he already had a backup plan, so he will switch to his next best tactics.

It is a normal thing to compare players especially if the players plays same position on the pitch but it becomes irrelevant to compare players that do not play same position. Mbappe and Vini jr do play as a winger before but Mbappe has now changed to center forward while Vini jr is still a left winger so right now i do not think it is proper to compare them since Mbappe do not longer play as a left winger but a CF and as such i won't say any of them is better than the other because they are both good players and they share same quality or features such as speed, dribbling but Vini has more skills.

Mbappe ignored his former club only to play for Real Madrid. Real Madrid are also paying him based on the agreement they had, it’s not every top player you can sign without spending a penny. Buying on a free transfer is not a bad move. As you summarized, you save the purchase money and give the player more money. You still saved a lot of money.
