Barcelona made a smart move by loaning Araujo to Liverpool and including a buyback clause worth 55 million euros. For Araujo, the move to Liverpool offers the chance to get sufficient playing time and improve his mental state; during his time at Barcelona, he suffered from mental health issues due to his poor performance, which caused him to lose his spot as a starter. Moreover, at Liverpool, Araujo doesn’t have much competition at center back, and it’s likely the coach will pair Araujo with van Dijk to anchor Liverpool’s defense.

Just as you said, Barcelona made a smart deal to let Araujo leave on loan with an obligation to buy for Liverpool, it is a good deal for Barcelona because he has been their great weakness in the defense sometimes especially in big Champion league matches when they needed maximum performance from him, it was severally reported that it was some mental instability that do causes some of the setback from the player, but he is a very good player overall, and that was why Barcelona kept him all these while and how Liverpool signed him on loan. I believe his mental issues would have been resolved, and Liverpool will help him with adequate playing time in order for him to always be fit to do his job properly; he will have good playing time with Liverpool because Konate has left the club for free to Real Madrid, the coach wanted him to help them defensive wise before they can get a solid defender to sign.

Barcelona is very fortunate to have many players playing for the Spanish national team. Barcelona fans are certainly very proud because the team they support has good and famous players. However, of course, Real Madrid now has Cucurella, and this will certainly give Real Madrid the potential to have great strength, as Cucurella is a good defender. However, what is certain is that even though Barcelona has more Spanish national team players, the competition in the El Clasico match will be more exciting because Real Madrid has many strong players, and it will certainly not be easy for Barcelona to beat Real Madrid. Well, we'll see what happens later, but what is clear is that now many are curious about the performance of Real Madrid and Barcelona in the upcoming season. Real Madrid signed Cucurella to bolster their defense following his impressive performances for Chelsea and the Spanish national team at the 2026 World Cup. His presence in the Real Madrid squad is certain to intensify the El Clasico rivalry and the dynamics involving Spanish national team players at both giant clubs, especially given that he is a product of the La Masia academy. The meeting between Cucurella and his former Barcelona teammates is sure to be a major draw for spectators. Meanwhile, Barcelona continues to rely on Spanish players in its squad. They have also just succeeded in signing Gordon and Adeyemi to bolster their attack. The management is also working to bring in Rodri to strengthen the midfield. If the transfer goes through, Barcelona's midfield will become even more solid, and El Clásico clashes will be even fiercer.

nowadays success of the Spanish national football team has run parallel to Barcelona's success. there was no such success for the Spanish national team during the period when Real Madrid dominated the Champions League. and today, there isn't a single player from Real Madrid in the Spanish national team.
Yes, it cannot be denied that Spain's current success is clearly driven by the presence of players from Barcelona. But still, I don't think those players are only from Barcelona. But if we compare it with Real Madrid. Yes,, it's true that currently there are no Real Madrid players who have joined the Spanish national team. So it's clear because Real Madrid has a different strategy than Barcelona. Because as we know, Barcelona is always looking for new players, mostly from its La Masia academy, so that's why there are many Spaniards there. So with that, it's natural that currently many Spanish players play in Barcelona. But Real Madrid is different again, because Real Madrid prioritizes buying expensive players who have proven to play well. So that's why currently Real Madrid players really come from very diverse countries, and very few are from Spain. Maybe there's a new Cucurella joining now, and that's probably all. So yes, Barcelona and Real Madrid are fundamentally different when it comes to this.

The buyout clause is 55 million Euro. If he doesn't get injured again, Liverpool will sign him and that will be a profitable deal for Barca. Flick is looking for a new center back, he thinks Cubarsi needs a better partner. Barca's defense was already solid last season, they would improve even further with the addition of another top class center back. Maybe Aymeric Laporte would come, but Athletic doesn't want to give him.
Araujo was doing well at Barcelona and just like you said that injury made him spend more time on the bench, it was the same thing I was telling someone and he said Cubarsi is better than Araujo. Even when he (Araujo) returned from injury he was still good but that's football for you, they quickly dump injured players and forget about all they have done except that club don't have a better replacement that's when the injured player can maintain his spot at the club. Well, Araujo's move to Liverpool has given Cubarsi that spot to be a regular starter and from what I have seen, Cubarsi is too good to be dropped on the bench. Liverpool are already without Ibrahima Konaté so they needed a replacement and now the Reds have van Dijk and Araujo, for me I'd like Liverpool to get another CB because van Dijk is not like he was when Klopp was in charge, he's now slow, who would lead who between the two Center back?

the idea of Rodri transferring to Barcelona genuinely gives me goosebumps. if Rodri joins Barcelona and they also add a solid center back, they would become one of the biggest contenders for the Champions League
If Manchester City player Rodri joins the Catalan club, I definitely think that this club will be relatively stronger in midfield than other clubs, but that does not mean that this team will become the main contender for the Champions League after his arrival. Also, you should note that in this team, young Spanish player Cubarsi has become a symbol of Hansi Flick's trust and a reliable center back, even this player won the young player award at the 2026 FIFA World Cup for his impeccable performance throughout the tournament, but Barcelona has some other young players that Gerard Martin, Eric Garcia are also talented center banks. Currently, this team needs a worthy replacement for Robert Lewandowski because we can see that Barcelona is trying to get Alvarez in the team but they are not able to do it, but they have center bags who are very skilled. we're talking about one of the greatest defensive midfielders in history. being this effective in his position while contributing so many goals in crucial matches sets him apart and makes him a true game changer imo. Barca has always been a major contender for the champions league and with Rodri being added to the squad, it is going to be of further boost to them even having an higher chance of winning it at least this time. one things that rodri does is being overly dorminating at the mid field and doing so for a team like barca that are good at playing the ball on the leg, it just perfectly complement the strategy that the team is generally known for. If the quest to get Rodri to playing at FC Barca pulls through, even the likes of real Madrid will know that they have something even bigger to face in this season. And now that Rodri is one of Barcelona's players, that should be more than a boost for them because, even without Rodri, they have been playing well and winning even the La Liga, which is one of Barcelona's best qualities. At this point, everything will be challenging because many clubs are making a lot of adjustments, which will make the league extremely competitive and not all of them will make it to the Champions League, which is already very competitive. and even real madrid will not find it as easy as it is usually hapening and there higher chances that with all the changes they might not be able to even accomplish anything better but along the line lets hope for the best for real madrid.

Transfer of Ronald Araujo is beneficial for both teams, Liverpool, facing a defensive line crisis, needed a defender with solid experience on short time & the choice fell on Ronald Araujo. Barcelona possesses a wealth of talent, even if they fail to get mature players from other clubs, there is no doubt that talents from their academy will be able to fill key positions.

The three teams that were promoted to La Liga for the 2026/2027 season are Racing Santander, Deportivo La Coruna, and Malaga CF. I see that none of these three teams are newcomers; they have played in La Liga before. Who will manage to stay up seems really hard to tell. But it looks like Deportivo has a chance to stay, while Racing Santander and Malaga might struggle to compete with the bigger clubs. I think finances are still a major factor in developing a team.

There were 8 barcelona players in team. right from La Masia, who stands where and where to run was ingrained into their muscle memory. they didn't even need a traditional striker in their system. a squad like that has very low chance of failure.

Glad to see Malaga is back in the top flight. I missed them, they were one of the clubs I was familiar with right from childhood. How they fall from being a proper top flight league to how they are struggling now is unimaginable. They once played in the champions league and even reach quarter final before being knocked out but I can't remember the season now. If finance is their problem, why not sell the club to serious investors that are ready to invest in it? I don't know much about them now since they don't play in Laliga but I hope they'll find a way to remain even if they can not make it to the champions league.

I remember the 2012 -13 Ucl season of Malaga it's was a good season of malaga but in that's time malaga have very good squad actually they have isco Ex madrid players and alot of young talented player but unfortunately ended in a heartbreaking quarter-final exit against Borussia Dortmund. I think Malaga can do the same if they invest in has project at that's time they have Manuel Pellegrini a very good coach. And if they did the same they invest in good manager and bring some good young player I think malaga can do the same in the next 2 or 3 year same as Como did in SerieA. Deportivo La Coruna and Racing Santander I don't think so they can survive this season in laliga. But if they both take it seriously this season laliga I think they can stay a little bit. But I love malaga hope can't relegat next season and stay upto 2 or 3 season and repeat the same 2012 -13 season

I’m just worried that if Rodri ultimately chooses Barcelona, Madrid could end up failing to win any trophies again this season. Rodri made it quite clear he doesn't want to move to Real Madrid and he prefers Barcelona instead because there are several of his national teammates. Also, Barcelona play in a way that would be perfect for Rodri. Real Madrid, who knows? They recalled Mourinho, a very pragmatic manager, I'm not sure the Portuguese is the right type of manager for a player like Rodri.

Isco Disco, that was his nickname because of the way he usually dazzle with the ball, I remember as well. I think it was after that season that Real Madrid went for him and got him. One thing about these kind of teams is, people feel these team sare not good but in real sense they are but because of their financial state that's why they fall the very best season after putting up a good performance in a particular season. When players from these small teams shines, the next season bigger clubs will come for them and their clubs will sell because they need the money, it's more like saying these small teams build players while the big teams comes for them after they are developed. It's been happening across all leagues, just few seasons ago Girona was a real deal in La Liga, the next season they were no where to be found simply because the star players that made the team what it was that very season, most of them were sort after buy other clubs and Girona had to sell.

That is a good move they made, Araujo will get plenty of playtime in liverpool and he might even improve his defensive abilities there considering the quality of the players in the premier league, if he plays good there he might even consider joining Liverpool permanently because there he has a higher chance of getting a spotlight as a defender. Now the whole point is that will he get playtime and if yeah then that if he will perform or not. Overall i like this move for araujo as a player.

Despite being only 25 years old, Thiago Almada has returned to his home country. Atlético Madrid and River Plate have reached an agreement on all terms. I don't understand why this young player didn't receive transfer offers from other European clubs. Perhaps Almada himself wanted to return home. There used to be a player named Ariel Ortega. He was also very talented but struggled to play outside his own country; he was an emotional player. Seeing the Almada transfer reminded me of him.
Wow, this is a setback in Almada’s career. It seems Almada is having trouble adjusting to life in Europe, so he’s decided to return to his home country and join River Plate. I had previously thought that Almada would succeed with Atlético Madrid, or at least continue playing in a European league, but it turns out things didn’t go as expected.

I don't want to think about this at all because Rodri can never, will never be the reason Real Madrid won't win trophies. Let Rodri continue with his Barcelona signing, that won't stop Real Madrid's progress in lifting the LaLiga trophy this season or the next season

The fact is Rodri will try his best for Barcelona but he won't be the reason why Real Madrid might not win any trophy this season, remember he's 30 years already and an injury prone at that so I don't see him as threat normally, besides that even Real Madrid is not in bad shape when we talk of players, they've also got some creative midfielders also, so let's wait for the season to start before we judge.

It's been a long time since I heard about Racing Santander. I first heard about them in La Liga when I was in junior high, and now they're competing in La Liga again. I don't know much about this team, but seeing them on the rise and back in La Liga, I think they need to maximize their strengths to stay in La Liga. La Liga isn't like the second division, and the competition will definitely be more competitive than before. Hopefully, with the performance they'll show, they can stay in La Liga, at least for a few seasons.

Only time will tell how much the new coach can unite them. The main problem for Madrid is their internal misunderstanding. This is not something that can be fixed in a day. Rodri is an experienced and good player, if he is in the team, the team balance is maintained. But he can never be an obstacle to Real winning the title. If Real can perform like before, no team can stop them. If Real Madrid can regain its former confidence and unity within the team through a new coach, then the team can show their good performance.

For real? Rodri will be the one to stop Real Madrid from winning trophies, irrespective of the players they signed. Now I want to ask you, who is capable of controlling the tempo of the midfield after Toni Kroos left? Valverde was expected to fill Kroos’s role, but he has yet to live up to those expectations. If Rodri were to join Real Madrid, he would be one of the ideal replacements for Kroos’s position. That’s why I have doubts about Madrid’s chances of winning any trophies this season. The fact is, their midfield still looks seriously lacking when it comes to proper ball distribution.
