Not only Toni Kroos, but they also failed to produce a worthy replacement for Luka Modric. Madrid's midfield weakened somewhat after Kroos left and completely collapsed after Modric left. Until their midfield problems are solved, Madrid may not be able to touch the title. Although they have added Bernardo Silva, I don't think he alone is enough. Valverde, Tchouaméni and Camavinga have not yet succeeded in fulfilling expectations, and I don't even put them on my list of favorites. The defensive midfield position has been Real Madrid’s weakness, since Toni Kroos left the team, they haven’t gotten any direct replacement for him, they have been managing in that position when they have Jude Bellingham, and when Modric left the team, the situation became worst because they couldn’t dominate games anymore despite having good attackers.

Defensive problem is their primary problem, that was why I was expecting Madrid to be serious to sign Rodri, but they don’t show real interest in the player because they think they can survive without him, or maybe Jose Mourinho have another plan, but as the team stands now, they need more defensive reinforcements to be able to win trophies.

I'm seeing some Barca fans excited that Araujo have finally exited camp bou but they do forget that it's a loan deal which means he can still come back and play for Barcelona. Truth, Araujo mistakes at the backline have really cost Barcelona huge losses and some of his defensive errors have made them been eliminated from elite tournaments like the UEFEA Champions League, if he doesn't commit a defensive error, he will make one silly tackle that he will be issued a red card making his team play a one man down and this all have attributed to one of the reasons Barcelona are finding it difficult to win major trophies.

There was a video I saw recently on X, and it was Enrique_{(psg manager)}, pointing to his players that Araujo was a weak link in the Barce's defense. And funny enough, Araujo got a red card In that game. But my major concern now is that they haven't secured a better replacement. Romero is currently available, but they're not going for him... It's quite surprising.

Having big name players in their squad is what Real Madrid has always wanted, they don’t care if their combination will result to a good team due to how they can play as a team, because if that, they have players with individual qualities but lack teamwork which is mostly not a problem form the coaches but the players available for selection.
Some positions are still not properly filled in that squad, their defensive midfield position is still vacant in my opinion, they needed a strong, reliable, and good defensive midfielder that can play as a defender and as a support to their attack, if they have him, their attackers can be safe, they will easily move forward and feel confidence when they lose ball because they have people to defend that for them. I believe Madrid need defensive midfielder like Rodry of Manchester City.

The problem isn't about the players , it's  about the fact that the players won't stop making mistakes .In the season before the last, both Kounde and Cubarsi got red card in two important games even though they were among Barcelona's best defenders .
Last season , it was Eric Garcia and Cubasi(2x btw) yet he's still currently Barcelona's best defender.

I don't think Real Madrid's squad has always been stronger than Barcelona's. There have been times when Barcelona assembled such high-quality teams that Real Madrid couldn't do anything. Especially with players like Lionel Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Suarez, and Neymar, Barcelona was a much better team than Real Madrid, in my opinion. Rodri's composure in setting up the ball, De Jong in charge to open up space and help set the tempo with Rodri and Dani Olmo assigned more help in attack and move freely in the middle of the field it will be quite troublesome.

Rodri's presence does not guarantee Barcelona to secure La Liga but this is a very good addition for them to get a pretty good performance next season and I as a rival fan would certainly be very disturbed if this really happened.

I'm so eager to see the coming season, I want to see how this two teams will perform because with the level of Barcelona preparation and how Real Madrid performance is right now, I'm very sure next coming season will be very interesting. When the season approaches, this is what we always say, especially to the team that signed new players. Even last season, we said that the competition would be very tough because of Real Madrid squad, but La Liga was not as competitive as expected.even Real Madrid did add some of the players they have added and if their players want to play as a team, they will surely see good results.In fact, to me, most of the players that Madrid have signed recently are not the players Real Madrid really need the most. I don't think so, Rodri is just one of the good players, he won't change Real Madrid's game significantly. Moreover, he is not young anymore, since he suffered a serious injury the previous season he is no longer a special player.

However, money alone isn't enough to compete at that level preparation, mentality, and player quality are essential. PSG’s success for instance was the result of a long-term project built by the team's management.
Como could build a team similar to PSG's if they succeed in doing so, they could certainly achieve similar long-term successprovided the club remains financially stable and capable of making significant changes for future seasons.

Financial stability is of great importance, but Barcelona's example shows us that even a team with significant financial problems that have been lingering for quite some time continues to acquire new players year after year, apparently using loans to do so. And year after year, they struggle to overcome their financial difficulties, but perhaps their status and reputation help them, otherwise they wouldn't be given such large loans.

Araujo is not a name that’s sounding new, he was playing well at Barcelona before he lost his form and was not able to get his position back even though he gets to show up from time to time. Liverpool will really enjoy having him play for them if at all he gets his good form back. Barcelona has not really lost hope in him and that was why a buy back clause was included in their deal, they believe he’ll develop well at Liverpool and get to regain his form back. Barcelona now have a lot of good players that doesn’t give him a chance for his position back yet, he’ll have to prove himself at Liverpool and convince Barcelona that they can still sign him back.

Personally, I don't see Araujo as that player that's fit for Liverpool, right from time Barcelona strength is not built on defence that's why they hardly have rock solid defenders. Liverpool doesn't have the kind of midfield that will cover his ass when attackers break that midfield line to the defensive line, Liverpool needed solid defenders especially after they have lost some of their defenders between last summer and this very summer that they are in. Araujo will likely flop, the league needs strong defender that can be able to go toe to toe in strength with opposition attackers, I just hope I'm wrong on this and he proves me wrong as well by being a better defender at Liverpool.

Glad to see Malaga is back in the top flight. I missed them, they were one of the clubs I was familiar with right from childhood. How they fall from being a proper top flight league to how they are struggling now is unimaginable. They once played in the champions league and even reach quarter final before being knocked out but I can't remember the season now. If finance is their problem, why not sell the club to serious investors that are ready to invest in it? I don't know much about them now since they don't play in Laliga but I hope they'll find a way to remain even if they can not make it to the champions league.

Yes,, the last year Malaga played in La Liga was in 2018, if I'm not mistaken, and after that, they were relegated and unable to rise again.
