It is bad analysis to write off a team when the season hasn't even began. Atletico won the Spanish Laliga trophy in 2021 with 86 points where they gapped Madrid by 2 points and Barcelona by 7 points. The competition will be extremely fierce this season. Atletico Madrid not willing to release Julian Alvarez might end up dragging themselves backward this season because the 19 year old forward is willing to join Barcelona which happens to be his dream club. If Atletico is counting on Julian Alvarez next season when his mind is already made up to leave they might just end up having the worst season ever. I think we are doing a mistake under estimating simeone’s team bcz he has a decent set of players who have the capability to dominate laliga though madrid and barca is on a whole another level but still as you said football is a game of luck and if atletico gets lucky in the starting of the season they might maintain a very good lead. I will have to disagree with you a little bit, football then was not individualistic, we had footballers that were exceptional without a doubt, the people that watched Maradona will tell you that they have not seen a player that could match the level of brilliance maradona had in football, people are dragged to come to the stadium just to watch a single player perform because he's exceptional, this same Real Madrid Jose Mourinho is currently coaching don't sign average players, they are always in line to sign exceptional players, that is why they are called the galacticos, it is the formation of classic players, but over the years we've seen a drastic drop in the exceptionality of players.

We all know that discipline is Mourinho's hallmark, and there is no way that you will work under him and not act morally because I am aware that he has rules that you must abide by.
