I couldn't believe it when I read your article, so I tried to look at the newspaper and I could see for sure that finally a deal has been made with Manchester City to go to Barcelona. This is very good news for Barcelona that their expectations are going to be fulfilled because the fans were not at all happy with the team's preparations this season because after Lewandowski left Barca, they needed a talented player. Rodri's name was being heard for several days but no one could say for sure, finally it has brought peace of mind for Barcelona and the fans of the team. Yeah! He is the player who will spur them to victory and mainly the Champions League competition. Frankie De Jong is currently injured and with all of these recent and consistent injuries, he could be dropped for a better midfielder who can play consistently. I don't think he will be aced, he could be around until his contract comes to an end. He could be paired alongside him or on the bench for sqaud depth.
I think he will played in a way he can score goals every game and increase his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or.  A play maker can also be a goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo was also a play maker who switched up.

It will all depend on the situation and conditions down the road, but player rotation will definitely continue. That’s because new players sometimes need time to adapt, so they aren’t always played the full 90 minutes at the start. Still, I’m happy that Rodri has joined Barcelona. Quite surprised to see how Racing Santander who incidentally for now is a promotion club but managed to hold Villarreal to a draw with a score of 2-2 in the first match even if looking at how Racing play I think other than possession they do not look far in terms of strength in this match.

2 red cards were also presented in the initial 4 matches for the opening match and by looking at this it looks like the first week of La Liga there will be a lot of goals that happen.

But attention will of course be focused on next week because Madrid and Barcelona will play in the first week of next week. Their opponents are not too strong and should be an absolute victory will be presented in their early matches.

The most teams people underrate so much are newly promoted teams but they are mostly teams we shouldn't underestimate especially at the beginning of the season. They come in with the mentality of surviving and will prepare well enough to have a good start. I was sure it will be a difficult game for Villarreal, seeing that they will be visiting Racing Santander I knew they will not find it easy and also from the odds it was obvious Racing will cause some problems.

Rodri will create a lot of advantages for Barcelona. Especially the midfield will be strong enough with Rodri in Barcelona. But I am thinking about other things. After Lewandowski left, Barcelona's main problem was goal scoring. Which has not been solved yet. Although there are some good forwards, there is still a shortage of experienced forwards. Rodri can make enough impact in the midfield and assist for goal scoring, but it is very important to have a good player to finish. Although Lamine Yamal is performing well, Barcelona still needs an experienced goal scorer. Even then, Rodri's contribution will be to make Barcelona a more powerful team. Especially since before Barcelona would lose their defensive balance if they went on the attack, now if Rodri occupies the midfield with his best output, the defensive and attacking balance will be very good.

How do you come up with this conclusion when Rodri was not present last season to compare him with the rest of the players in Barcelona. There is no best midfield in Barcelona right now like Pedri, even Rodri does not come close to what he did last season. Even in the 2024 when he won the Balon D'or, he is not great to me, Pedri had low contribution but he doesn't have half of Rodri appearance and since then, he has done absolutely nothing to Manchester City.

If he comes to Barcelona next season and things turn well for him, then that's something different but I don't think he can make something different from what Pedri has done. If Hansi Flick foolishly let down Pedri because he think he is going to use Rodri, it's going to be their loss eventually. Rodri transferring to Barcelona gives me goosebumps really. if Rodri joins Barcelona and they also add a decent center back, they’ll become a truly formidable team.

Good to have Rodri at Barcelona he's now closer to his country men which means they will have good communication and good energy in the team. Rodri is an injury player based on the recent happening in the previous season so it will give Frankie the chance to remain in the team even though he will no longer be starting unless Rodri is unfit to play. Next season will not be easy for Barcelona because Real Madrid is well prepared so Hansi Flick should better not play Lamine Yamal where he won't find things easy otherwise he will destroy his team which he has managed to build.

Nevertheless, i think i will pick Deportive to win. The home game must be boosting their mentality against Elche. So they can play better and do revenge for their last lose to Elche.

Picking Atletico must be the best choice, though the odds obviously not worth with the risk. However, they have 85% chance to beat Malaga.. They also host the game. So they will have so much confidence to win with massive goals.

I expect they to score more than two or three with cleansheet consider how poor Malaga is. I think asian - 1.5 for Atletico feels okay.

It's been long time I see a team comes from lower division to come and disrupt Laliga, they don't last long before they fade out and if they are going to have points, they don't use top teams to get score, it's usually the teams below they win to get their self to the top of the league and after the first leg, they don't have energy to pressed them again. So likely we should still expect Real Madrid and Barcelona as the top team in the league, I can't say for Atletico Madrid, alot is going in thag club that we don't know.

I am hoping that Real Madrid will make this season a great one. It been 3 season now that the club want to win the league, if they let this one out, I don't think what I can think about them anymore, the first two seasons are wasted and much are invested this season. I don't think Mourinho will even want to risk one because Perez is not going to let anyone ruin the legacy he has built for the club, there is much at stake they can lose if they don't do well.

It shouldn't be a concern to lose Lewandowski. Barcelona still have plenty of quality players, and either Yamal or Raphinha could be an alternative. Rodri's arrival would also complete the midfield. And regarding Rodri being almost officially a Barcelona player, I'm really happy to hear that. So now the lineup would be Yamal as the striker, Raphinha at RW, Adeyemi at LW, and Rodri as the DM. This is absolutely perfect.
