I'm not so sure about Perez. Don't get me wrong, he won everything, I guess he'll go down as Real Madrid's greatest president ever, but he is obsessed with offensive players, he loves those who bring some magic to the field because Real Madrid must win while playing well. Over the years he made the same mistakes several times. Then he improves for some time, and then he goes back again.

I will not really blame other teams from not being able to lift the La Liga trophy and it is not that they are happy about it or not putting effort of testing the La Liga trophy but the major reason why some of the teams due end up with lesser positions in the league, is because most of the players that are well known to occupy those wings and if those teams should eventually sign up those players to be in teams like Sevilla, Real sociedad and villarreal, you will see a strong competition in the La Liga League and it will not be seen as a culture between Real Madrid, Barcelona and Altletico Madrid of always rationing the trophy but yet not all famous players can agree to be transferred to the lesser teams but they will always prefer going to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Altletico Madrid in order to be opportune of lifting the trophy.
