These are my four favourite clubs to win the Champions League competition yet again. As for who wins La Liga, it has got to be Barcelona again in my opinion. I have been able to mention for a long time in this match that the players of the Atletico Madrid team are not very experienced. Because in the beginning they could not attack much before half time, they were able to score a goal in the 70th minute and that was easy. Not like I underestimated them but, I didn’t see any possibility of Malaga getting a win or even a draw from their Atletico Madrid fixture. It is both their first game of the new season and Atletico Madrid would be looking to start strong and see how far they can go. This would mean having to beat Malaga and get their first 3 points of the season and that’s what they have done so cleanly. Beating them to a 2:0 scoreline, first win and first clean sheet.

Many gamblers predictions about the outcome of the match were probably in favor of Atletico Madrid because the betting volume is higher for the relatively strong team. barcelona has plenty of quality attacking players, but i agree that a striker is absolutely essential. even if alvarez were to join, i'm not sure he could carry the load for barcelona for the entire season. looking at the players leaving and joining barcelona right now, the squad seems to have gotten stronger, but they need a roster that leaves no room for surprises.

they haven't had success in the champions league for years, and in the league, they're only competing with real madrid. that's why i think the team they put together is so important. it's time for this team to prove itself in europe as well.

I believe Barcelona has one of the strongest teams around in terms of the completeness of the squad.

Barcelona seems to have been planing something from the beginning when they were making a move on Julian Alvarez because when Barcelona have not signed Rodri they were still interested in Julian Alvarez but it was after the deal was completed they develop a cold feet on Julian Alvarez because of the experience of Rodri, Barcelona made a bad choice backing down from signing Julian Alvarez because even if they think that their squad could defeat any team but they would definitely see the need for him later because is no longer Lewandowski only but Ferran Torres has also left for another team so that's two strong forward they lost.

We didn't back down, Atletico Madrid CEO Gil Miguel refused to sell him to us. He even said he would prefer if  he sold Alvarez to a club in another league than to sell him to Barcelona. Barcelona have tried their best to sign Alvarez but it's becoming impossible. If there no assurance, then we have to look for another striker before the window closes. I must say it was a good performance from Athletico Madrid, there was new faces in the Athletico Madrid team, it was a very spectacular performance from the new players, seems like Athletico Madrid are filled with some new young talented players, they deserved to win the game, but I wasn’t very impressed with some older players who wasn’t doing there jobs diligently, there was several mistakes on their performances and style of play, most especially Koke.

It was brilliant performance from Atletico in the second half of the game
 They were able to score two world class goals. Baena goal was from a fantastic free kick on the 85th minutes of the game to double their lead and seal up their victory. It's a good start for them this season as they get their first three points in their opening match.
