It would not be right to judge the first match only by the goal margin. Real Madrid made many attacks but they could not score. A few chances were created but they could not use . But it must be admitted that even though the goal difference was not high , they were more dominant against Espanyol. And Mourinho plans based on the strength of the entire team. So he will not plan around any star player, which seems quite positive to me. This is just the beginning. If they implement more new planning in the future, and they start having a positive impact, Real Madrid has a chance to perform quite well.

I personally think Vini and Mbappe were still struggling to warm up their engines leading to several missed opportunities in the first half. Mbappe fortunately warmed up a bit before halftime by delivering a brilliant performance outwitting a Real Sociedad defender and even firing home a goal. In the second half Mbappe looked even more ferocious by posing numerous threats to the Real Sociedad defense including scoring several goals. Mbappe was named Man of the Match with a very high rating of 9.8 for this match. And I think Mbappe's brilliance for the season began to show in this match as he looks set to score plenty of goals and become the top scorer this season just like last. It is no surprise that Mourinho praised Mbappe's impressive performance with the three incredible goals he scored. Real Madrid's back line is already quite solid with their defensive tactics. But Real Madrid's first-half goal conceded was likely due to a winger's defensive error, where it prevented them from seeing the rebound and thus were unprepared to block the Real Sociedad player's shot. I believe they realized this mistake and they appeared much more solid defensively in the second half as we saw.

I don't get you. Are you saying that four goals isn't much or you want them to score up to ten goals. C'mon, they were in a good performance yesterday and the attack was very active irrespective of the missed opportunities in the first half. The longer the stay with the new coach, the better their performance will become overtime.

Alvarez is not a bad player and deserves every interest he's getting from top clubs like Arsenal and Barcelona. Do you think that Mikel Arteta is such a bad decision taker when it comes to player choice? Alvarez is a top striker and that is why Atletico Madrid doesn't want to let him join Barcelona because he will come back to harm them in the league. Many clubs have always taken such decisions when their best players insist on leaving their clubs. We saw it in Osimhen's saga when Napoli insisted that he will not sign for any Italian club until 2027 to avoid facing any prominent losses as his result so I am not surprised about Atletico Madrid's stand.

Arsenal has been in desperate need of a top player after chasing a Vinicious Junior's signature which was soiled after he renewed contract for a long-term deal until 2032 in real Madrid. Real Madrid under mourhino is so much improved in attacking. They have alot of options in attack and Mourinho know how to use it properly so I don't have any doubt on Madrid attacking player but the problem is Real Madrid midfield they have some good option but they don't have any game controller midfield and that concerning when you reached to the last stage of the season and some of your player tired and you don't have any other options it will be concerning and I think Mourinho need to figure out that's problem otherwise Real madrid can slip out in the last minute of the season.

Did he even watch the match, because I don't think that there is anyone that watch that match that will complain about Realmadrid not scoring much goal, if 4 goals isn't much goal, then what is it supposed to be called? I can only complain about Realmadrid first match of the season, but as for their yesterday match against Realsociedad, I don't think there's much to talk about that match, because there should never be any complain attached to 4:1 result in favour of Realmadrid, Mourinho is definitely working on something, what I hope for is consistency and full adaptation of the new players to give the team what want this season.

Atletico Madrid played well in the first match against Málaga and won 2-0 and in the second match they drew against a strong team Villarreal. I am not disappointed with the team's performance, it is normal that they played the way they did. The team performed well in many matches but they could not move forward due to poor performances in some matches in last season. This tournament the team will probably do better than the previous season because they have signed several valuable players on long-term contracts and they have been doing well at the beginning of this tournament. Your predictions?

There’s no doubt that Barcelona’s squad is superior in quality, giving them a greater chance of winning. On top of that, Barcelona will be playing at home, making it seem as though the home side already has the win guaranteed. But, I still need to be cautious because Nico Williams can cause problems and put pressure on Barcelona.

My prediction is that if Bilbao can score early, both teams could produce a high scoring game. Keep in mind that Barcelona can sometimes look surprisingly poor at home. The over 2.5 goals betting option seems like a good choice.

Madrid has started playing just how they were expected to do so with mourinho. In yesterday’s match against real sociedad the team had more harmony than before and played with each other. Their chemistry seems to have improved and as a result they won the match with high score. Some people think that 4 goals is too little when the best team is able to play maximum throughout the game. Real Madrid can probably score more than 4 goals in that game, they have chances, but I think 4 goals is enough to prove who the team is. Sometimes winning a match takes precedence over the number of goals scored, so this should be understood wisely. After all, it is not easy to beat Real Sociedad, they also played well even though in the end they had to concede 3 additional goals throughout the second half.

For now Real Madrid lead the La Liga standings with a score of 6 points from 2 wins, while Barcelona will host Bilbao who are also targeting victory. Barcelona played very well in the first match, so I think they will do the same in the second week in front of their fans.
