Mbappe had a pretty decent opportunity to score a goal--- a type that had him leaning too much, leaving him no choice but to shoot with his weak foot. The ball went past the keeper, but a bigger obstruction was the defender that read the spaces before he could even decide to shoot. Those Chances weren’t “few”, Real Madrid lost almost six big chances in the first half of this game which they could’ve capitalized on to score atleast one goal and time is already running out in the second half, they need to urgently score or else end the match in a disappointing draw against Betis.

The situation has turned around now, 10 minutes of normal time remaining and Madrid must be 1 goal behind Betis through Troy Parrot's goal.
I didn't like Madrid's performance today, they were good on the pitch but their problems came back after the last few games. The flow of the ball is not going well, too much dribbling done by some players, their midfield does not have a clear flow of the ball.

Mou may still want to try tweaking their midfield because today they made Arda, Jude and Vini as a line to help Mbappe but Camaboy and Valverde are not too solid to be a Pivot. I prefer Bernardo here because looking at what happened with the double pivot that was forced with some players whose performance decreased, this actually backfired for Madrid.
There is still time that can be used and Mou should be a little worried about the results now.

I don't know why Jose Mourinho who used to be a coach that values defensive style of play did not equip his backline with tactical defensive system that can make it uneasy for opponents to penetrate.
