The end of that game was an absolute circus. Madrid thought they equalized but VAR disallowed the goal. Then out of nowhere Mbappé gets a penalty to save the day and he messed that up. It was a brutal series of errors right at the finish line. Still, expect them to bounce back in the next match.

I’d like to highlight two incidents. First, Carlos Espi’s goal should have stood because he wasn’t offside when he scored. Second, Mbappe’s penalty should have been retaken because, just as Mbappe was about to take the penalty, a Real Betis player entered the penalty box.

Well, maybe VAR should  have just called the  offside immediately  before the pass even reached Vinicius  instead  of allowing the game to be played on the the extent of successful leading to a goal.

On the other one, Mbappe  could have help getting a draw but the he missed the chance , which is perfectly normal , he doesn't  have to score every penalty. Players even miss penalties that old have earn them a trophy.  

IMO, there's nothing wrong with the offside,  I only have issue with offside being called after a goal.  It's not the first, it's  happend on several cases .

I don't seem to understand why they don't call offside immediately when it's a clear one. True it might not be offside and might cost the team a goal scoring opportunity but then again looking at it I think generally it will be best to not call it immediately so they can see the outcome of it. This isn't the first time and that's why we have VAR to check if it deserves to be ruled out or not.

Real Madrid cost me a winning ticket yesterday but I can't blame it on Mbappe because he missed a penalty. It's very normal to miss a penalty, even Messi and Ronaldo miss penalties too. It's just so unfortunate that they couldn't get a goal and lost the match despite having multiple chances to score.

I don't have problem with the offside but I think Mbappe's penalty should be retaken. A player can't be in the box when a penalty is yet to be taken.

The game ended 3-0. I couldn't believe how Atletico allowed Bilbao to drill them in such a way that they couldn't get a consolation goal. I respect Bilbao's game composure and pace, they outplayed Atletico in all angles and won the game on a clean sheet. This is a big improvement from the host team. Only Barcelona is left to play their own game amongst the clubs on top three on the table.

This could be a handover to Barcelona, as the two teams that often join in the title race lost their last games, or maybe Barcelona will also lose tomorrow against Valencia since they will be playing away. Yeah and this can happen to any club at anytime. They just need to make sure that they are not feeling retarded after this outcome and will come back better in their upcoming match in the La Liga. Real Madrid was the better team in all stats shown in this game, but that’s football for us and luck just doesn’t shine on a team even when they prove to be the best it was suppose to shine on. Real Madrid is still in line for the title race as only one loss cannot already determine their fate for the season. Real Madrid’s performance against Real Betis was indeed very disappointing. Real Madrid had so many great scoring opportunities in that match. But they were completely unable to capitalize on them to score a goal. Oh brother!… it’s been a sad day since the Real Madrid lose it’s just been red red everywhere, how did Atletico Madrid let in three un replied goals and now even Villareal have lost to Deportivo La coruna, plus the other games in the other League that also went sideways. Carlos Espi scored a goal and it was offside and Mbappe missed a penalty. It was not expected that Real Madrid would miss their chance like this and lose the match. I don't bet on sports regularly but I bet on Real Madrid in this match and I lost it Wtf.
