The first half ended with draw 1-1, but I really have to applaud Sevilla's performance which seemed to put Barcelona's defence at risk. Barcelona performed well and they only struggled to find the best chances in the first half, but the proof was in the second half.

I did not watch the game and seeing the score I literally didn't expect the first to have been difficult  for Barcelona but still I'm not surprise. Last season we saw games where it seems like Barcelona were giving a terrible performance especially in the first half which can include being a goal or more behind but later came back to get the win.

This made me stop hate watching them rather I wait until the final whistle to mock them, they have been solid and so often find ways to get the necessary comeback.

Barca didn’t play well like they did in the second half. I expect it to be a game where the both teams would score, so I wasn’t surprised that the first half ended in a draw. Yeah Sevilla played so well especially that black Felix boy but it wasn’t enough, they were faced with a tougher opponent in Barcelona. I love seeing Barça play, I never doubt that they’re going to score and with Raphinha in total beast mode, there’s nothing stopping them, he almost scored a direct corner kick…. I was actually thinking that the Spanish La Liga was going to be dominated by Real Madrid but it seems Barcelona aren't buying that idea. Raphinha has certainly taken it personally for not being nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Mbappe claims that he has done much better than the others, he has performed well and has scored many goals. However, we have seen that the Barcelona player has been in great form since the beginning of this season, and if he continues to play until the end of the season without getting injured, he will return to even better form. Kylian Mbappé has scored 7 goals in 6 matches and Raphinha is the top scorer with 12 goals in 7 matches and in third place is another Barça star Lamine Yamal who has scored 7 goals in 7 matches. It is not yet possible to predict whether Mbappé will be able to achieve the feat of being the top scorer this season but he may not be able to maintain his personal performance as he has maintained in the last two seasons.

Barcelona forward players have always been known for scoring goals and believe me if you’re playing for this team as a forward and know exactly what you’re doing I bet you’ll be banging goals every single game. I think Raphinha got the message from Kylian Mbappe during one of Mbappe’s press conferences where he was asked about helping out more in defense and drawing comparisons between Raphinha and Dembele that they both help their teams in defense and Mbappe responded by saying he might not be contributing that much in defense but he certainly score more goals than the two of them. Raphinha is trying to prove something here, he’s trying to prove he can score goals and for sure he will score a lot of goals for Barcelona but he should not be too carried away because this could be a trap, he shouldn’t also forget about his defensive side of play where he usually helps the team in defense.
