I would argue that Real Madrid will find it very difficult in this game, they may have a better team but they are still having a few issues to address. Atletico Madrid look a bit more imporoved in their recent games and they are the home team so they will be much more motivated to perform better in this game. I can't predict a score line in this game but surely Atletico Madrid will not make it any easy for Real Madrid that's certain.

I watched the games against Soceidad and Osasuna and I was really impressed, they played well and showed some improvement so I think they will be very motivated to face Real Madrid now.

It is undeniable that in the first half Madrid's midfield was not very good even for 45 minutes I did not see Valverde doing the same game as he always does which makes this not look good.

This is what gets interesting in a derby with a hot league especially when this harsh style of play makes the situation a little more interesting. I am beginning to give up for real madrid this time around, their performance is not encouraging and I don't think I can be able to survive by supporting this team, I think it is best for me to change my decision at this early stage to avoid a lot of disappointment from them which they have started already. Against many of the teams in the La Liga, Real Madrid would have been able to stage a comeback even after going down by two goals but knowing that Atletico Madrid is a team that has a very good defense one of the very best defense in football currently in world football It was always going to be a struggle and a difficult situation for Real Madrid to get back up from a two goal lead especially with the time that they had left in the game. Real Madrid have suffered against Athletico Madrid, I was actually expecting a win from Real Madrid, but Athletico Madrid looks too strong for Real Madrid, the Red card to Dean Huijsen didn’t help Real Madrid at all, being a man down against Athletico Madrid would always be a difficult game, especially when ATH is play at home, I have always said that Real Madrid isn’t good defensively, I don’t know what Dean Huijsen is doing dropping Simeone in the defensive area and Simeone was the last man which I think it was more a tactical foul that lead to a Red Card, Simulation offense always ends in a Red Card, Real Madrid is really struggling defensively, Mourinho needs to find a solution to this horrible defending from his team.
