The goal was scored by David to add more frustration on Real Madrid players. The game is on the 61st minutes and the score line is still 2-0.

The match has ended and the final scoreline for the match favored Atletico Madrid 2:1, whats happening, this is making it the second time that Realmadrid is losing this season, Barcelona is now 6point clear above them in the Spanish laliga standings, should we be blaming the manager Mourinho or the players, Realmadrid has a problem, maybe it not about the manager, I think Realmadrid players are confused, this kind of performance isn't expected from a team that spent that huge before the season kicks off.

I think if they had a great defensive midfielder, they would likely not be conceding goals so easily.And seriously, with the kind of form Barcelona are currently in, if they are not affected by injuries, I have confidence that they will be the team to win La Liga. Now, Barcelona are already leading by six points.

The both teams began playing dirty at some point but Real Madrid was pressure by the frustration of the officiators and express their frustration with rough tackles but it backfired cause the refree didn't show any mercy to their players but allowed Atletico Madrid get away with their own dirty play, the rough on Huijsen by Lee deserved a card but the referee choose to overlook it.

 The game was in favour of Atletico Madrid but Real Madrid gave up too easily they would've fought for a draw, i know it can be tough to play one man down against a big rival in a derby and win but it's possible.

Last season Real Madrid were doing well in every area, scoring goals and winning matches untill the match between them and Atletico De Madrid was played and they were defeated disgracefully, that match changed a lot of things and I think it affected their season. This season Real Madrid are not as good as they were at this stage last season, they have conceded lots of goals, this match will tougher for Real Madrid, the pressure to win will be mostly on them, chasing Barcelona is the target and drawing or losing will further make them drop on the race.

The match between these two teams is being played so far, Atletico Madrid is leading by 1 goal. In the first half of the match, Real Madrid has shown more dominance. The second half has started and Atletico Madrid is playing with more dominance. Today's match will be very challenging for José Mourinho, especially the opponent team Atletico and they have shown quite impressive performances in the past matches.

I think the match will end in a draw. If Real Madrid cannot add points in today's match, they will fall behind in the competition with Barcelona because Barca is at the top of the table with 21 points and Real is in second place with 16 points.

it seems like you watched a different match, not Atletico vs. Real. otherwise, you wouldn't have called it boring. it was a great derby featuring the kind of real battle you expect in matches like this. Atletico got a bit of luck with the Real player getting sent off but you have to admit they kept the pressure on Real's goal and deservedly scored the second one. I would have liked to see more goals but three is fine too.

It was a really amazing match for us the Barca fans, we were very happy with the result of the match because it made us topped the table with a straight 6 points

Atletico Madrid really gave it all to win the match, they forth well even though real Madrid didn't play as expected by everyone. The action of Huijsen was so careless to have cost the team so much.

This have been the  argument I have been always having with my friend who happens to be a Madrid fan, Madrid don't usually create chances in most of their games that I have watch this season.

They left out Bernardo Silva who would have helped the team in chance creation and brought in Bellingham, who hold on to the ball too much.

There was change in Madrid's game when Bernardo came on, they started playing and having chances and he was even able to gave an assist for Rudiger's goal.

As far as am concern, I doubt if Madrid will still win any trophy this season, they are going trophy less again this season if they continue playing like this.

The reason for this is that the stars play selfishly, preventing the team from playing a cohesive game. To resolve this, the manager needs to bench some of these star players; such decisions would serve as a wake-up call for the squad.

I think Real Madrid problem is from the fact they don't have a holding midfielder, It mounts more pressure on their defense no matter how they want to cover up for that, it doesn't just work most times, their failure to acquire either Enzo or Rodri is afecting them I think. Vini is not really impressing me in recent times, I wonder what happened to him? Imagine being replaced in the 54th minute? Despite the red card, he was clearly not in the game.

The deadlock was broken for Athletico with the red card and the penalty, Grimaldo took it nicely and Johnathan sealed their victory long before Rudiger got a consolation goal.

Atlético Madrid is a very good team, or Real Madrid is truly poor. Regardless, I have to say they defended brilliantly. Atlético's system yields better results with each passing season; even if Diego Simeone were to leave, the club would likely maintain this system. I wonder if Mourinho is going to get himself fired again at this rate, he’s bound to be dismissed from yet another club. Furthermore, Simeone played a pivotal role in the attack both goals were scored thanks to him, and he was even the catalyst for Huijsen receiving a red card.

It was a very sad afternoon for us Real Madrid fans; I confess that before the match started, I was praying hard that Mourinho wouldn't make the same mistakes he had made in recent games.

This was a very difficult match firstly because Atlético was playing at home, and secondly due to the head-to-head record, Real Madrid couldn't exactly claim to have fared well against Atlético in their last five La Liga meetings. A third, very important point concerns the lineup Mourinho used in the attack. He insisted on fielding Vinícius Júnior, who has squandered many good chances; I don't know why Mourinho insisted on playing Vinícius Júnior while leaving Carlos Espí, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Bernardo Silva on the bench. If he had started those players alongside Yan Diomande, things would have turned out differently.

Finally, I have to talk about the referees. What I’ve been seeing in Real Madrid matches is terrible; the referees seem to hate Real Madrid. I don't understand the red card the ref could have given a yellow in that situation, but didn't; he chose to disadvantage Real Madrid, and that’s why I agree with Mourinho’s words:

I don't usually criticize referees over a defeat for Real Madrid or teams I support, but this time I agree with Mourinho's words and everything stated in Real Madrid's official statement:

And I don't doubt that this sort of thing will happen a lot to Real Madrid in upcoming matches; unfortunately, the fact is that Real Madrid lost, and it’s a defeat that has put them in a terrible position. Catching up to Barcelona will be very difficult now I’d say only a miracle could make Real Madrid champions this season and things will only get worse if Barcelona ends up winning the title for the third consecutive time. The first half was full of fouls, especially from Atletico Madrid players who kept trying to hurt Bellingham and Arda. I feel the potential for a red card is quite big if you look at the intensity of the Madrid derby today. I don't really care about the result, because when it comes to the Madrid derby, it's not about the result but about the ego.

If Atletico continues to play roughly, they might end up with a red card and that will give Real Madrid a good advantage over them. The game was quite interesting, but none of them has broken the deadlock yet.

This reminds me of Real Madrid last league match, Elche was committing fouls upon fouls on the player but no consequences was suffered, the referee ignored most of it. For me I really wasn't expecting plenty goals from either side, two coaches with defensive approach but Atletico Madrid played better than Real Madrid especially after Madrid went down. There were moments of individual brilliance, but as a team, they didn't perform well. What is even funnier about this is that Atletico Madrid did not even play that well, but they were better than Madrid before the red card. This is to show how bad Madrid were.

As for Huijsen, I don't understand what he was doing. He wasn't even going for the ball. How can you be dragging a player like that in the box? If he had at least made an attempt for the ball, he might not have gotten a red card. That was a very rookie mistake from him.

This result was unexpected for me, I didn’t think Real Madrid would lose their second match of the season this early. But I think this was probably Mourinho’s mistake, because he put Huijsen in defence and he’s still far too young for a match like this, so he struggled and let his team down. For Barcelona, this is another step towards the title, if Barcelona are six points ahead of Real Madrid after this round, I think that could make a big difference.

Hmm it's yet another lost for Real Madrid, so disappointing and at same time embarrassing, this is the second lost for them since the season started, like I never expected this from them honestly speaking, and this is yet the 7th game of the new season and they has already lost two out of the seven games, and I'm very much certain the losing won't end here because there are still lots of game to be played, truth be told I never expected this from Real Madrid this season, I still sense another trophyless season for them, because I don't think they can withstand the hit in UEFA champions league with this form if it continues.
