🚨⚠️ Raphinha will be OUT for Barcelona’s next two games, confirms Hansi Flick.
“Raphinha does not have an injury… but we have to be careful because last year he had three injuries as we need to take care of him”.
“He won’t be available tomorrow or against Galatasaray”.
The absence of Raphinha will be a big problem for Barcelona in as much as they have Yamal and some other good players it will affect them some how but the wingers can try to fill in for him, Gordon or Fermín López can play the false 9 especially the Spanish player Fermín, he is good in that position but Raphinha knows how to lead and control the game more better. I just hope they don't face that same drama of missing him for that long like it happened last season. If Raphinha can't play in the next few games, it won't be a problem for Barcelona. Flick will only use other options who are prepared to do better. Gabriel Jesus could be a great alternative striker as he has only contributed in 3 games and scored 1 goal. In addition, there are all the players who have performed well in the midfield who can be used as attacking strikers. Barca have great options like Fermín López, Pedri and Gavi to assist Lamine and they are also great finisher. Raphinha missed 16 games in La Liga last season due to injury, but Barca still won the trophy and he won't have much of an impact this time around. It is true that even if Raphinha cannot play, Barcelona has alternatives. But I must say that according to the condition of the player Raphinha is, no one else is worthy of replacing him at the moment. There are certainly several players in his place at Barcelona, but I don't think everyone is perfect like him. He can create momentum in the attack against the opposition, he can give opportunities to his teammates. He is as good as he is in terms of his ability to possess the ball, score goals, and press. I don't think others will be like him. Although Pedri, Gavi and Fermin Lopez are good options for him at the moment, I don't think they can all play the role of good strikers. Gabriel Jesus, I think he can only do well in the box, but I wouldn't call him a good alternative to Rafinha. Although Hansi Flick has also tried to use him in Rafinha's absence, how good the results will be remains to be seen. Overall, Barcelona is in great form at the moment, hopefully they will continue to perform well.

It's easy to fix Raphinha's absence to give him a rest by putting Adeyemi to play as striker. So they will have Gordon at left wing, Adeyemi as a striker, then Yamal at the right wing. Nevertheless, they have also more option like Hamza who can also be deployed as number 9 as well. So this is not a serious problem because Barcelona is still having capability to beat their opponent, though they're missing their top scorer this season. Beside that i also remember Olmo ever being deployed as false 9. This is an easy problem to sort it out. Apart from that the decision to sidelined Raphinha from the squad for several games is good instead of forcing him to play, then they will miss him for the rest of season due to the injury. It's such a wise decision by Hansi Flick.

Barcelona currently won't feel overwhelmed without Raphinha and Yamal because the team overall is doing exceptionally well, goals and assists comes not just from both. They have been able to score quite a number of goals in games which shows a level of being clinical and taking chances effectively and even if they may not be as solid as before they can still do very much or at least well together all three points in almost every games, if not all. Raphinha has rescued Barcelona and secured victories in many matches. The absence of such a player is always a significant loss, and should they face a challenging opponent, they will certainly feel that void. While Barcelona’s squad is packed with quality players and they have plenty of alternatives to replace Raphinha, it remains to be seen in upcoming matches whether any of them can match his level of contribution to the team. Flick will likely find the best solution to this situation, given the number of prolific goal-scorers in his squad—a distinct advantage for any manager. I believe Raphinha's absence will be a major test for Barcelona, especially considering they are not currently getting much output from Yamal either. You are right that Raphinha absence will be a problem for Barcelona, although against smaller teams it is not a problem. Raphinha's injury, who has performed the most impressively and scored the most goals this season, will not be good for the team if it is long-term and it will not be easy to fill his void. Of course, Hansi Flick has many alternative players who are ready to contribute to the team. No one can match Raphinha but most of the players in the squad are very talented and attacking midfielders are ready to score goals when needed. There are many goalscorers in the squad who are waiting for the opportunity. Barcelona will easily win the matches they have now, but in the match against strong opponents PSG in the Champions League this month and before the El Clasico match, Raphinha recovery is a special need to be given to the squad.

There is a bad culture and behavior Real Madrid has, I have not seen that in top clubs, they are the only team with this behavior. When a team is doing well, players are appreciated and motivated and the day they don't play well, they removed them as quick as possible so another player can fit in. It doesn't matter what you have played before even if you have man trophy but Real Madrid don't bench players even when they played 10 bad games, they don't win title this way, this they are is business.
The problem stems from the dressing room. Ever since Ancelotti, players in general have been given too much freedom. There were clear favorites, favored by both Florentino Pérez and Ancelotti. Now things are changing. In fact, I don't know if Mourinho will play Mbappé, given his injury status and the reason why he didn't report directly to Valdebebas. That's a serious breach of Mourinho's rules. I hope things improve with Mourinho. He's a winner; he has a clear vision of what he wants, and he doesn't field players just because of their status. While it's true that Real Madrid hasn't won anything recently, it's also fair to acknowledge how difficult it is to compete when there's systemic bias in the refereeing.

Espanyol should have secured their first win after the international break had they managed to maintain their lead over Malaga. Infact for the the better part of the game they were the better side but I just don't understand how they let fatigue get the better of them and also make them lose a very important three points. From 8 games, it's only two Espanyol have won whereas Malaga none but of the two of them, the visitors had a better chance of extending their tally till they lost it in the dying embers of the game.
You are wrong in the part I highlighted bros @Majestic-milf, it was actually Malaga that controlled the flow of the game, you can see this from the statistics. Espanyol failed to hold onto their lead, they should have won, but they missed out because Málaga scored a goal in stoppage time. The result of this game is not ideal for either team, both appear to have lost out due to the draw.

How will anyone thinks of converting Karim Adeyemi or any other player to the striking role when there is actually a natural striker on the bench, is like many people are forgetting that Gabriel Jesus is also a fantastic players that can even score better than those players mentioned. People keep forgetting about jesus or was it on purpose to have not mentioned him just because he was unlucky at Arsenal to have been suffering from series of injuries. In a place where there are players in likes of Gabriel Jesus, there shouldn't have been a suggestion of converting any player or bringing in Hamza that is just an upcoming striker. But nevertheless am just giving my thought about Gabriel who is underrated by the so called Barca fans though, it will even sweet me better if Barca can drops point for Madrid to get closer to them before the El-clasico.

I just hope they don't face that same drama of missing him for that long like it happened last season. I think this is a good decision by Flick. Barcelona's next two matches will be against relatively weak teams. Where Barcelona team will win very easily. Since Raphinha is an impact player for Barcelona and he is a top scorer, when Barcelona has matches against strong teams ahead, Raphinha's best performance will be needed. So now even though Raphinha has a slight physical problem, it should be given importance and accordingly Flick rested Raphinha, it is the right decision. Without Raphinha, attacking performance will be affected. But Barcelona will not have to struggle much to win against Getafe. Next, when Barcelona plays against PSG and Real Madrid, Raphinha will have to have the best performance and have enough influence to win match, so that there is no deficiency in his performance, so if he refrains from playing the next two easy matches, the chances of him getting injured will also decrease. Raphinha can maintain consistent performance throughout the season.

His absence wouldn't be an issue at at all...Hansi Flick is a very experienced manager I give him that and so I don't doubt his decision in any way.. Barcelona are like 5 points ahead of ATM and then 6 point ahead of RMA, so even if they draw in their match against Gatafe which I seriously doubt since the match is happening at Barcelona home ground in Spotify Camp Nou.. Jesus will probably be playing in that CF position with Gordon in the LWF and then Yamal on the RWF...The front is still looking very deadly no less even with Raphinha absence..I am confident of a win form Barcelona tonight..

Converting Karim Adeyemi to the striking role and using Anthony Gordon in the left wing, and endangering the both left wing option we have in a match is a bad idea with the nature of matches we have ahead of us. It will be awkward to have a natural and good striker like Jesus and Hamza on the bench, and thinks about converting other wings players to the striking role, starting Gabriel Jesus in the number 9 position will not be a bad idea. We can't afford to endanger and have any player injured with the fixtures we have ahead of us, every player in the team are important as others, so it was a good decision by Hansi Flick to rest Rafinha and rotate other key players too.

Mourinho remains one of the best coaches in the history of football, winning 26 trophies across Europe, quite an extraordinary record. At Real Madrid, it seems that he has not gotten his ground yet and their performance is below what we expected after their summer signings. The refereeing system is not exactly bias and have also favored them in any occasions, maybe you made this statement based on their past matches but there is no evidence whatsoever that justifies this claim.

I think Raphinha would definitely have been useful for Barcelona in their match against Getafe, because Getafe have a pretty solid defense and don’t concede many goals. On the other hand, they haven’t faced any particularly strong opponents yet who could have scored a lot of goals against them. I think Barcelona still have enough attacking options even without Raphinha. There’s Jesus, Yamal who scores in almost every match, and Adeyemi. So I think Barcelona are perfectly capable of getting through these two matches without Raphinha.

There’s nothing wrong with playing Adeyemi as a striker because he can also play that role. Some coaches even use tactics that may seem unusual to create a different approach to the game. But in terms of their natural positions, Gabriel Jesus is definitely the more suitable option as a striker. Adeyemi is more comfortable playing on the wing, where he can create chances for the striker to score.

The likes of Pedri,Gavi and Fermin Lopez are established players in this Barca squad and are even expected to start whether Raphinha is available or not. They play different positions in the team and they are all very important players. Raphinha right now is looking like the hottest player in the squad along side his partnership with Lamine yamal through which they have combined to score and assist lots of goals this season already and now, Raphinha is not available I still think it will affect the rhythm of the team especially that frontline because him and Lamine Yamal has formed great partnerships upfront. Last season when Raphinha was out injured Barcelona lost some number of matches which reduce their points and Madrid almost caught them. I’m just saying that this is football and anything can happen, I hope whoever gets to replace him will be able to fill the shoes.

But i dont think this will be a problem for Barcelona because player like Gabriel jesus can cover up in his absent. From what I read it was being reported that he is having a minor mussle problem. Since Gabriel jesus can play the role of scoring goals i think he is the best for replacing Raphinha in the two games that he wont be present. But I think Hansi flick Will have a better option of how these games would be like without having Raphinha. It’s true Barcelona isn’t going to struggle with Raphinha, his replacement is available in the team, there is Gordon and Adeyemi in that position who can cover in the absence of Raphinha, I think Barcelona signed this players because they knew Raphinha is always struggling with injuries last season Barcelona was suffering whenever Raphinha gets injured because Yamal is always the centre of attention with defenders but when Raphinha is playing it changes the narrative because the attention will be divided, Barcelona had a proper plan in the transfer window and it’s going to work for them when they’ve different options in a particular position.

The achievements you mentioned are correct but they include domestic trophies and it has been many years since he won these important trophies. He has made incredible record and many football clubs have benefited greatly from him. You will not see any important achievements from him in recent years. He has not achieved any achievements after 2022. After becoming manager of Real Madrid, many people criticized him that he is old and used to practicing old methods. I have also seen criticism that he is not familiar with modern football. He has been manager of Real Madrid but has not achieved the expected success yet. I am skeptical about his future.

This means the level of squad depth Barcelona have in the frontline is massive. I didn’t even thought they have Anthony Gordon, I almost forgot that he is a Barcelona player, since he is there and other players up front like Kareem Adeyemi and Gebriel Jesus, we dint want players injured, but with this bench, even if Rafinha will be away for at least one month, there will be no much problem, they will win matches just that experience is an advantage for Rafinha, his presence means a lot for the team so they needs him.

I think Barcelona as a whole can maintain a consistent performance throughout the season and they will definitely outperform many teams in the league with this intensity they have, Raphinha has been a major contribution to the team especially in attack but they will need to make sure he's fully fit for important matches especially against big clubs where they need every part of the team to function properly and also they need to try as much as possible to make sure they maintain this consistency because when other teams suddenly pick form and are also performing well, they will easily adjust and match up to the threats but for now, I don't think they have any thing to fear then to just improve on their consistency as a team

Raphinha injury is no longer a strange thing, but at the same time Barcelona can still show progress. A. Gordon can handle the position that Raphinha left for a while. So the absence of Raphinha is not something that can affect Barcelona overall performance. Another story if it happens to Madrid, if Vinicius or Mbappe is absent due to injury then Madrid performance will drop dramatically.

I don’t feel the same way about Vinicius, but it holds true for Mbappé. Mbappé’s absence would significantly impact Real Madrid. While Raphinha’s absence would also affect Barcelona, that void could be filled through a cohesive team effort. Real Madrid, however, tends to rely on individual creativity rather than a collective team game consequently, they are not as adept at compensating for absences as Barcelona is.
