I think Barcelona as a whole can maintain a consistent performance throughout the season and they will definitely outperform many teams in the league with this intensity they have, Raphinha has been a major contribution to the team especially in attack but they will need to make sure he's fully fit for important matches especially against big clubs where they need every part of the team to function properly and also they need to try as much as possible to make sure they maintain this consistency because when other teams suddenly pick form and are also performing well, they will easily adjust and match up to the threats but for now, I don't think they have any thing to fear then to just improve on their consistency as a team

Barcelona has forward squad that prints goals, Raphina absence will not do them any damage but it would have improved the chance of them coming out with 3 points in each of the weeks his going to be away. However, his absence is not my fear, what the team need to fear now is the midfield and defenders. They have the people that are going to make it work but if eventually their next features are able to maintain good defense too, they may have draw games.

I'm wondering what is going to be Real Madrid faith this week again, since the international break is over, maybe they would have their shit together and do whats right for the team to win the matches. If they loss matches from here, I will give up on them, they are not worth a place in my bet, I'm not taking that risk again even if they are going to lose.

The absence of Raphinha will be a big problem for Barcelona in as much as they have Yamal and some other good players it will affect them some how but the wingers can try to fill in for him, Gordon or Fermín López can play the false 9 especially the Spanish player Fermín, he is good in that position but Raphinha knows how to lead and control the game more better. I just hope they don't face that same drama of missing him for that long like it happened last season.

If Raphinha can't play in the next few games, it won't be a problem for Barcelona. Flick will only use other options who are prepared to do better. Gabriel Jesus could be a great alternative striker as he has only contributed in 3 games and scored 1 goal. In addition, there are all the players who have performed well in the midfield who can be used as attacking strikers. Barca have great options like Fermín López, Pedri and Gavi to assist Lamine and they are also great finisher. Raphinha missed 16 games in La Liga last season due to injury, but Barca still won the trophy and he won't have much of an impact this time around.

Even without Raphinha, I still expect Barcelona to defeat Getafe and also Galatasaray in the Champions League match. I know the Galatasaray game will be a tough one but I'm still rooting for Barcelona to win. The only thing is, I won't expect as many goals as they used to score because right now Raphinha is Barcelona goal machine and they will definitely feel his absence in that area because he always finds a way to score.

Gabriel Jesus is the perfect player to start as striker but in my opinion Hansi Flick should bring him as a substitute. Gabriel Jesus is injury prone, so it's better if Flick manages him the way he used to and starting Adeyemi as striker would be perfect. Because if Jesus pick up injury now it will be another problem.

The team has a lot of potential to improve under Mourinho, but it may take more time to actually succeed. Losing two matches has left Real Madrid behind Barcelona on points. Even currently ,Real Madrid are still a great team, but it’s just that they are not performing to our expectations. Real Madrid’s inability to win any trophy last season and their current form, which is not what we expected, do not mean they will be unable to improve and win a trophy.It’s possible that it may not be the La Liga title, but I still believe Real Madrid can change and win even a minor trophy this season. The season has not gone too far, and there is still the January transfer window, during which they may be able to sign a player who could fix some of the problems Real Madrid are battling with.

I know that, with the kind of players Real Madrid have, they should be able to perform at a high level. However, I believe their problem lies in the midfield. If Real Madrid can get a great defensive midfielder, I have some level of confidence that their performance will improve significantly.But I don’t even know what Mourinho was looking at. He was not looking for a defensive midfielder; instead, he went ahead and signed an attacker.

Real Madrid is indeed still the strongest team in La Liga. But their heyday seems to be on the wane given that they’ve struggled to dominate and even stay at the top of the standings. Barcelona is now the clear favorite over Real Madrid considering they’ve won the La Liga title in the last two seasons. And we can also see that since the start of this season Barcelona has looked incredibly strong with several wins that have propelled them to the top of the standings with 21 points, where it is a significant lead over Real Madrid’s point total. I personally see that the current Real Madrid squad has yet to find the consistency needed to consistently deliver outstanding performances. Real Madrid last won the La Liga title in the 2023–2024 season when they still had several highly experienced players on the roster such as Modric and even Toni Kroos. Perhaps with the departure of those two players they’ve lost leaders who could provide strong guidance complemented by the coach’s direction which had previously helped elevate their performance.

Atletico Madrid scored in the 87th minutes,  a goal by C. Romero secured Atletico Madrid 3points in the late minute of the game,  Alave played very well inspite of  the red card they still came out to play,  they were unlucky to get that red red, this game would've ended draw if they played 11 till the end.

Atletico Madrid has to step up their game,  they didn't impress me tall in this game,  Atletico Madrid lack consistency, that's why they don't win titles,  every week they will struggle to win average team, but when they meet Real Madrid or Barcelona they play like giant. Until they start playing every team the way they play Barcelona and Real Madrid they will never dominate the league.

Espanyol failed to hold onto their lead, they should have won, but they missed out because Málaga scored a goal in stoppage time. The result of this game is not ideal for either team, both appear to have lost out due to the draw.

You're right. I was watching the game for sometime before shifting my attention to something else but for the time I watched them, they seemed to be the ones mounting pressure and causing Malaga to defend but I guess Malaga later took control of the game. At the end of the day their hard work paid off and they were able to salvage a point.

Alaves was doing just fine until the red card weakened the strength of the team and Atletico Madrid made good use of the advantage that was presented before them. If it were not for the red card Alaves should have won or at least maintained the draw till full-time. Cristian Romero scored at 87th minute which was enough to give Atletico Madrid all three points they needed. I haven't been following up with Julian Alvarez but I hope he has now reconciled with the club after the loggerheads that happened in previous week. Jonathan David seems to have taken his place in goalscoring, though he didn't score in today's match against Alaves.

Calling their current performance strong is not exactly what I would call strong because, on a normal day, there are clubs that Madrid should be able to defeat with ease and not struggle, but as it is now, Madrid struggle for almost everything. After all, there is no way that Madrid will be in a good position, and we are not going to see it, and that is why I said I am not impressed with them at all, and I won't give them any form of applause because I expected something different from them this season.

There’s no denying Barcelona’s dominance. They’ve displayed exceptional skill in every match they’ve played, including this one. Barcelona doesn’t need a center forward when they play like this. Small teams have never been a problem for Barcelona, they always crush them. The first half has ended Barcelona 2 - 0 Getafe, with Gabriel Jesus having added a goal, I don't think Getafe has any chance left to salvage a draw in this match.

TBH, I didn't know that Gabriel Jesus now plays for Barcelona. He was a good player during his time at Manchester City & Arsenal, Barcelona made a great signing in the transfer window.

I am sure the coaching crew is well aware of the fact that tonight is like a deadline for them, this match is a most win one against Villarreal. That grace period officially ends tonight. Barca points gap at the top is too wide and there is absolutely no margin for error. Mourinho has to make the team rock solid tonight against that highly disciplined and dangerous Villarreal team. Those guys are also good at counter attacking style so the defense line needs to be on alert all night long.
