Sadly,  Barcelona has not shown no sign of weakness in the past fixtures this season.  I also do not seeing them losing this term La Liga to Real Madrid. It is the reality of things but we football fans keep on doubting what we can see broadly we our own two eyes. It is my believe that Barcelona will win the treble this season under Hansi Flick just the same way they have done previously in the past under Luis Enrique and Josep Pep Guardiola. I believe that the La Liga is more important to Jose Mourinho because he wants to attempt to stop Hansi Flick but it will not happen. I think it’s worth taking closer look at consistency here. but we cannot prove bias based solely on incident involving Vini and Marcelo. We need to check if ball was still in play when each incident occurred. We also need to evaluate extent and intensity of hair pulling behavior. also we can’t ignore how referee and VAR viewed incident either.

I have seen Vini received red card after VAR review. For this reason we cannot assume that referee's decision was arbitrary. However when comparable foul receive different punishment then authority should explain why one warranted yellow card while other resulted in red card. I do not want Real Madrid to receive any special treatment. I simply want same standard to be applied to all team for similar incident.

Refereeing consistency in La liga is actually depending on who became the reff for that game. Different ref, different consistency of refereeing. This is the biggest loopholes in la liga. You can't expect different referees to have same consistency in La Liga refereeing because it's always changing depending on who is refereeing the game.

These are far from the best examples, as they are separated by a significant amount of time. I think a better example is Højsen’s sending-off in the previous round versus the failure to send off the Villarreal player in this round when he brought down Mbappé. The situation was absolutely identical - a defender is interfering with the attacker with his hands, but in Real's favor the rules don't seem to work at all.

I agree with you because most times the referee inconsistency in decision making seems more like conspiracy against Madrid, for intense game like the Madrid Villareal, the referee should have been more considerate of a yellow card to be given which was more than enough than the red card he gave, But then it is Vinicius and it is Real Madrid. This could affect the reputation and authenticity of the league because this is not the first time such thing is happening, La liga better look into it and make necessary corrections from with their BIAS officiating because I doubt if Mourinho will be quiet for long.

I don't know if you are aware of the rules of football. If you were, you wouldn't have said something like this. The referee gave his decision under IFAB's Law 12 , applying unnecessary or excessive force to someone's body. Pulling hair or slapping is considered violent conduct. And in such cases, the rule is to send the player off the pitch with a red card. Read this,  hopefully, you'll understand....

I think your answer is very correct, because it's still early in the competition so it's difficult to predict who or which team will be the champion whether it's the first team in the standings or which team will be the champion at the end of the season.

And you said that, maybe I think seeing as you're a Barcelona supporter it's natural for you to say they will be the best team and become champions at the end of the season. But if I may say, I would predict Real Madrid to be the best team this season. And this is a shared opinion so that each of us has a team that needs to be supported which is clear that this season the competition in the La Liga competition is much fiercer because there are other teams that currently also have the same goal to be able to compete with the two teams that we are supporting.

I don't think this problem is only happening in La Liga because I could remember last season in the Premier League something of this happened several times and it made a lot of people questioned the consistency of the referees and the VAR in the Premier League. There are some things Arsenal did in the Premier League last season and they get away with it but when other teams in the Premier league did that same thing they didn't get away with it, so I believe referees knows what they are knowing.

Coming from a Manchester United fan who, for over 10 years in the past, was favored by the Premier League officiating. Everyone knows them to be the league favorite.

Arsenal played fair football last season. If I remember correctly, Arsenal suffered from poor refereeing in the two seasons they failed to win the league. They didn't talk about it.

Real Madrid is not really giving me the hope that they can challenge for this 2026/2027 Spanish LA Liga title, despite they won yesterday, I'm not yet convinced that they can meet up with Barcelona with that gap, and if by chance they lose the EL Clásico to Barcelona then it's a go for Barcelona because by then I can be 80% certain that Real Madrid can't catch up with Barcelona, and it will be so embarrassing for a team like Real Madrid to go a whole three seasons without a trophy, but I just hope they improve on their games.

Mourinho could be sack even before the end of the season.

It's never enough reason to say they can win the league until they actually prove you wrong. How many times has it happened in a row? Madrid has been swapping Managers and buying expensive players just to stay on the same line, it hasn't been that easy for them has it?

Now we have Atlético de Madrid, another "awoken problem" (like one of the titles in a thread I made a long time ago, totally unrelated), who infact, is not ready to give up to anyone. Not even Barcelona can stop them if they stand their ground. 8 games, 6 wins and 19 points in total. That's just 2 points below Barcelona. I'm not sure about Betis and their momentum.

We might not know how things will turn out at the end of the season but one thing seem threatening 8 wins in a row and 6 point gap over the main contender for the season. Things might change in the course of the season but one thing I feel will happen is Barcelona dominating the first half of the season and extending their streak even as we anticipate for surprises.

But we can assume because it is not clear that barcelona is one of the strongest team in the league that have the capacity of winning this trophy, Real Madrid is the only team that can be able to challenge Barcelona and now their performances does not go well as we expected. There's a long season ahead and injury woes hasn't even struck the team for us to know how they can be able to cope. Though they've had some injury recently but we can say that the reason why it didn't affect their gameplay is because most of their players are still energetic since they haven't played many matches yet.

However, what will make Barcelona to stand an obvious chances of winning the title is when they extend the gap at the top of the table. If Real Madrid allows a point gap up to 12 points then Barcelona will be very relieved because even if they underperform, it won't take them upto to 4 losses which even if that happens, Real Madrid will likely lose points along too.

The season has just started, so it is not certain that any team will win the league title this season, considering the fact that some teams are undefeated and some teams are losing points. However, it is certain that either Real Madrid or Barcelona will win the league title. Barcelona has been performing well since the beginning of the season and so far they have not lost any points, on the contrary, Real Madrid has lost and they have lost points, but in the upcoming El Clasico match, the point gap may decrease in Real Madrid's favor, while in that El Clasico match, the gap may increase in Barcelona's favor. Same incident as that of Vini, because you criticise me there's no way I'm saying it's not a foul or a red card, Vini committed a foul and according to the rule it's a red card, that's fine by me and I acknowledge that but there's a problem. I remember against Alaves , Marcelo got his hair pulled in the 18 yard box, no penalty awarded and no card was given. In the Champions League last season or two I think, Adeyemi at Dortmund pulled a player's hair, he was given yellow card. Now before some starts saying it's a new rule, check the image above, this foul happened after the new rule but he only got away with a yellow card. Vini did same and the referee remembers the rule to red card him straight up. Like I said earlier, it's a foul and a red according to the rules but the question is, where exactly is the consistency?

I don't even know why this fan base is dragging this stuff to this extent, just because they were inaccurate for other teams they should do the same for you ? And that hair pull by Adeyemi was done to a Barcelona player so u see how unfair they have been to Barca, lol.
