That’s a big “if” you know, to continue this way for the rest of the season, literally impossible. At some point, they would lose some games and get some draws. That’s not any problem. gap is only one point. So, if either Real Betis or Atletico draw or lose any match then opportunity will open up for Madrid to claim second place in table.

I agree—they’re in far better form than Real. In their last match, Barcelona put in by far their most lacklustre performance of the season. Despite that, they completely dominated the game and scored three goals. 22 shots, 82% possession, 849 passes, 92 per cent pass accuracy, 9 corners. They’re even winning without Raphinha. The players are in top form and scoring freely. They’re set to win the title comfortably this year. Flick has built a team that deserves credit. He’s also managed to get the best out of the players. This is true and this can be observed for their last game against Villarreal. They were the better team in that game and could have scored as many goals as possible but they end up getting a win luckily before the end of the game. If this was the Real Madrid we know that is ready to fight for the title against Barcelona, the result of that match wouldn’t have turned out like that. We would have seen a high goal scoring match from Real Madrid. The season hasn’t gone that far, but Real Madrid should know that starting to fight early for the title is the best for them. Have there ever being a time where Real Madrid play beautiful football? I'm even surprised to see people coming out criticizing Real Madrid for their performance. I will tell you, stop comparing Real Madrid to Barcelona because they're all playing different brand of football when it comes to the pitch. Real Madrid doesn't know how to dominate and gain ball possession while Barcelona knows how to press, dominate and keep full custody of the ball without having to see any hurdles or challenges. Am very certain of Real Madrid to go trophy less this season again for the third time in a role, their play have becomes more worst than last season even after Mourinho's signing, they are yet to still identify their problems.

Madrid changing coaches thinking the fault of their bad play is from the manager is unexpectedly disappointing, it was obvious what position and Caliber of player they needed and to have signed, but the signing they made were not bad at all but wasn't the right signing they needed and for them to have prioritised.

Despite spending so much money Real Madrid team management is still not sure about the team's success, and what else can the team do to perform better. In the past two seasons, there has been instability in the Real Madrid team. Lack of good form among the manager and players and not being able to perform as expected against weak teams. Perhaps the management got some relief by appointing the experienced manager Mourinho, he is a qualified person to take the team to a comfortable position. I agree that Real Madrid shouldn't be written off just yet. We've seen how quickly things can change in a league season, especially when injuries, fixture congestion and loss of form start affecting teams. Barcelona may be in a stronger position to win the title, but if they drop points during a difficult run of games, Madrid can use that opportunity to close the gap. Hmm, just give Barcelona the La Liga title. Real Madrid aren't that hungry for domestic titles, and the UCL trophy is far more prestigious.
