This has already been done. Many members care about this and give many warnings. Bounty managers who are less professional, violating forum rules, etc. must have received red trust from the admin and moderator or the authorities. I am very grateful to the members who took the time to analyze a potential scam bounty project, you are amazing.

The bounty hunter must do his own research before participating in any bounty campaign. This research must include the quality of the project, its potential, the pool of tokens allocated to the campaigns and so on. This would help the hunter to avoid wasting his time with worthless projects.
In addition, there are many bounty managers already tagged for promoting scammy projects.

Bounty hunters should come together as one from now on to avoid developers and bounty managers that are treating hunters very wrongfully for example many bounty projects ends up breaking their very own made rulesafter bounty ends or even before bounty ends and secondly we need to start RED TAGGING projects account or bounty managers account that did awful things to bounty hunters or not paying bounty hunters fully after bounty ends.

What do you guys say? do you accept or not?

What do you think about bounty hunters that promote scam companies, where what you are doing might lead to a big loss for someone, should they rally against the bounty hunters to stop this?  You are engaging in a risk type proposition when you promote for someone you know nothing about.  Take the good with the bad.

Some members are already doing that, but these are not participants of that bounty campaign, they are pretty much afraid that they are not going to receive their rewards if they made a complaint or report that bounty campaign, they either create that with the help of their friends or scam busters who are active in reporting bounty campaign.

There are two kinds of bounty manager, the independent bounty manager, and the team bounty manager
The independent bounty manager will try to balance both parties, of course, he wants to have positive feedback on bounty hunters communities, because the competition is so stiff, and they don't want to have some sort of boycott on his business.
But he is also working on the campaign and this is where he gets his salary, he will do everything to balance both, because his last campaign will be his best recommendation for the future campaign.

Then we have the own team bounty manager, they work on the project and part of it, although he serves the campaign, he must see to it that there are no reports on their campaign so they will they have the trust of investors.

If both managers are not doing their duty and fulfill their promise they really deserve to get tagged do we have the majority of participants to do that since it will have the risk of not getting their shares.

from the very beginning I entered bitcointalk, there was a lot that I passed, when following a project, it was not uncommon to find my work not assessed or even no reward at all. and from this I learned how to look at good projects and certainly held by professional teams. and vice versa for ugly projects certainly there are only teams that are only looking for their own benefits. take all the wisdom that exists, as long as we are right and do not violate the rules.

You're absolutely right pal, my only consern is that projects that are unpromising and not paying bounty hunters shall be ban with their corresponding team and staffs, but in the part of the manager it should be having red tag so that we cannot anymire join projects that are just fraud and not paying.

what is clear is that bounty participants, bounty managers, project developers and also investors like their chains are interconnected with one another.
so don't just blame one side, there are many factors in a project being a scam.

that is true, because mistakes we cannot see from the mistakes seen by our eyes. many points of view that we must look at and observe to get a conclusion. when the project scam, then all that is purely the fault of the project. bounty managers and bounty hunters or people who promote projects from any advertising or media are Korbar of those who plan to benefit.

We can give red trust to the account of the scam project, but usually they are just a new bitcointalk account.
I think it is more effective to give negative trust to the account who accepting to manage or promote the bounty campaign of the scam project.

and even that doesn't work. Now very few people really think that if the account has red trust, then this campaign should be avoided. everyone just joins. people are not very smart

Well, you can red tagged those managers or project accounts that did bad things to the you bounty hunters but it will not take effect if the DT members doesn't neg them themselves but creating a red tag against the bounty managers (especially popular ones) will create awareness to those bounty hunters that they must avoid that manager because of his past experience.

If the case happened to me, I would accept, as a bounty hunter, I was very disappointed, because of the hard work and time spent. Giving a red tagged effective way to signal in the future that the gift project is a scam.

i think this is GOOD idea... a lot of bounty managers treats bounty hunters like garbage - any mistake and you will not get your tokens. Sometimes them create own rules at the end of bounty, add KYC etc...

Is your case to red tag a scam project or red tag projects who change their rules.
Projects change bounty payout due to their raised funds during IEO or STO or ICO exercise. You can't expect a project to pay you higher than they raised during their ICO. I think it will be reasonable for everyone to consider everyone else before being emotional about their decisions. If a project underpays after bounty campaign, you ask them reasons for such decision not to red tag. After all such rules are always stated in the campaign.

Right, now many projects and bounty managers don't value bounty hunters. They make rules but when it's time for distribution they make new rules that aren't listed when the campaign starts.

I agree with you, the red tagging will be a warning sign for people when the bounty manager is doing a new bounty again to deceive people and steal their efforts, Also a topics in the "Reputation" and the "Scam Accusations" sections would be a good idea until DT members make a flag for the bounty manager and for project team accounts, As for the scam project, all participants in all campaigns of the bounty for this project should write down the article, tweet, post, or video they posted, that this project is scam to warn people.

snip ~

I agree with you, the red tagging will be a warning sign for people when the bounty manager is doing a new bounty again........

that idea is already implemented on this forum  . so many managers as well as project owners and even hunters have already been tagged for thier inapropriate doings but there are those new accounts that may seem to useless to tag because they can still create another one and do the same thing again  . i think we should level up the punishment because red tags are not enough  .
