Electrum Wallet 3.2.2. does not connect

Greetings,

A couple of days ago i purchased some bitcoins and send them to my Electrum wallet. According to blockchain.com the bitcoins have been received. I logged into my wallet and at the bottom right the icon is red and since then i have logged in everyday and made some changes but it never connects and shows that the bitcoins have been received. Help is very much appreciated.

Update Electrum. Versions older than 3.3 don't sync anymore.
