Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money?

I'm afraid of online gambling using fiat because I don't want to involve my personal identity through my ATM or credit card that being use in having fund of betting.

This is what I fear too. Automatic if we use an ATM, surely in that case it uses our own. So our identity will be known. That's the difficulty of betting online using fiat. better to find a safe way to use crypto, which is now more widely used by everyone.

the first time I knew gambling, I only used fiat money (2013 - 2016)... before getting to know crypto and actively betting on crypto gambling sites, I was already a member of Betfair and actively bet there, but I stopped betting there because there was a problem with my withdrawal and their customer service at that time was not friendly to me.

When I became aware of crypto existence particularly btc I tried to gamble online and its interesting too just like in physical gambling.

Well they are actually the same but gambling in fiat provides you the flexibility and an array of choices among gambling sites present on the internet. On the other hand, gambling with cryptocurrency may be convenient, but I find it a waste to risk such precious resource in the market. Yes, you are right. With help from the media, crypto gambling will attract in many countries, and that will make people want to try to playing gambling using cryptocurrency. I am sure that they can found a new passion for playing gambling with so many coins available in gambling places.

If we talk about investing, I think that will make people want to try too because they will see that investing in cryptocurrency can give them a passive income in the future.

I wasn't aware that it's just going to be the hosting provider that needs to follow the rules when it comes with the gambling laws. Well, I take back what I said then regards to the online casinos that you need to consider the country. Great for them to be able to do that too.

As long as you have the following BTC to invest in, why not? I think it would be a great venture when you try things out. The important thing is that you need to take care of the invested amount. You need to be able to continue living without risking other assets. The amount you are willing to lose.

Those sites who requires KYC suddenly when you win a big amount, they are a shady gambling sites, unless that's stated in their terms of service.
I know there are a lot of gambling in the space with big bankroll, and I haven't seen any scam accusation that was not solve on big and popular gambling sites, that means they are operating properly and they are keeping their reputation clean.

That is great. Same here. I use fiat to gamble and this goes pretty good. Gambling is a risky game and gambling with your coins is more risky. It is important to hold your coins if you are able to make money by HODLING rather than gambling. IN gambling, it is either a win or loss but in hold, the market cycle adds value to your portfolio. I think it is easy to gamble with fiat.

Every gambling type involves risk, nothing makes gambling with fiat safer, what I lost when I was gambling with fiat is almost same as am loosing now using cryptocurrency. I would even say that is better to gamble with cryptocurrency because you will guide your coin jealously. For those of us using BTC to play we know the value and we will do everything to either win or play with less BTCs because of the few of losing.

In my opinion, crypto gambling is very good but it still doesn’t justify the fact that gambling as a minor is to be celebrated. I am a strong advocate of gambling at a ripe age and its discouraging to see underage bet on casino sites because they know identity is hidden. This is the very reason I am strongly in support of KYC on gambling sites. I can’t wait for the time it will be made compulsory for all casino sites to make KYC registration a thing of utmost importance, lets wipe out every fraudulent activities from gambling and minors to stop gambling. I know anti KYC supporters are coming for me on this comment and I am ready to reply them all.

It is obvious that people prefer to gamble using crypto because of many reasons which you already stated. But the question which OP asked in the title is that how we begin gambling by using fiat or crypto. I started gambling using bitcoins. Before that time I fear to use my credit card on online sites and therefore I did not gamble online because I had to give details of my credit card on those sites. Once I came to know about bitcoin, this made me invest in gambling.

With the internet connection everywhere, the gambling owner needs to open their mind that they need to improve their business, including to consider opening their website by online. Yes, you are right. I only use BTC to invest because of BTC have worth for me. I always divide the usage of the money for living, having fun, investment, expenses, and saving because I don't want to see I run out of the money without a good reason.
