Hi GT
There's been an update to which I'm now trying to run a x1 R606, x1 Newpac, x1 2Pac and x12 U10s. I use 4.11.1 for the R606 and Newpac and just those two run super smooth at 550MHz/Vcore setting 1 (410mV) and 250MHz Vcore max respectively. I return 756GHs with room for improvement. However, my main issue is that when I add the 2Pac to the same or different hub as the x1 Newpac, I mainly see 'usb write' messages against the 2Pac and the overall average hash rate drops. I thought you could run multiple freq settings of miners together and after reading most of these forums, I see multiple 'freq' commands for each.
I've also tried running the 2Pac on 4.10.0 (same and different hub) but then I get the 'you don't have the privilege' type message and I'm back to using only 4.11.1. The U10s don't show on cgminer 4.10.0 but use Rockminer 4.10.0 instead. The 2Pac is recognised on Rockminer 4.10.0 but the same 'privilege' message appears on 4.11.1 when I start the 4.10.0. Up to that point, 4.11.1 works fine. I use a laptop with Windows 7 and have a DPS1200-1, breakout board with PCIe cables to the R606, x2 GS hubs. I use Lindy USB cables, Arctic Breeze USB fans and Eluteng/AC Infinity fans. If you can please help in how I can have all these miners working in unison, even if they're over multiple instances. I don't know what I'm missing or what to add to my username like in your previous reply. I really need some explained help as trawling through the forums (of which I have and enjoyed) can't seem to find the answer. I will be looking at a Pi to run all in the future but for now, I'm not thinking it's Windows 7 that's my issue...unless I'm completely wrong! My BAT is something like:
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u myusername -p x --gekko-r606-freq 550 --gekko-newpac-freq 250 --suggest-diff 256 --widescreen
When I add --gekko-2pac-freq "more than 100" it fails. When the 2pac works, it only works at stock and only with as many U10s as you want. The problems start when I run 4.10.0 after 4.11.1. For info, all miners plug into the GS hubs then one out to my laptop port if this makes a difference. They are all USB 2.0 ports.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Regards
CP
