Recently, I came across with the latest crypto reddit trend from a self proclaimed satoshi. I have read the details and I did try to compare it to satoshi's writing style in here and it seems that their level of intellect is quite far. The guy behind this news is somehow using the numerology tho to explain how was the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" was created.

The funny thing as well is that this certain guy is trying to do it on a three part reveal. Most of the reddit users including me are expecting something to sell his new token release. Tho, I must say that still there can be good points here that a newbie can learn like Hal Finney's contribution to bitcoin creation.

I still can't understand to why fraudsters are expecting people from this community to believe in this. If they were really satoshi sending some signed message from satoshi's wallet can still be the solid evidence we should see.

I am interested with your thoughts tho.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

this method has been tried a couple of times before and it gained semi popularity but the interesting part is that they always fail as the predefined date is reached. basically they start their spam and redirect some traffic to the websites they create where they try to sell something (not sure what this dude is selling though) then as the deadline is reached they reveal their scam and fail. the following day, they will no longer even exist!

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

If someone who claims to be Satoshi can't sign a message using the genesis keys, then he/she is not Satoshi. Plus why would Satoshi want to resurface? He already left, and considered gone.

I wonder if a person really lost access to all the first wallets, how can he prove that “HE” is “HE”. It turns out that nothing, and as Wind_FURY said, "He is already left, and considered gone."

Majority of the crypto community have given up on finding out who the great man or woman etc really is and this is the best course of action of you ask me. Satoshi wants to stay anonymous and we need to respect that.

Just imagine what could happen if he/she were to reveal themself. Satoshi would be plunged into chaos. The Feds, hackers, scammers etc would probably want to seize the opportunity for their own goals. Also, screw these fake Satoshi pranksters.

Because of more and more fraudulent acts acting/pretending to be Satoshi Nakamoto is vital to cryptocurrency society. And the morality of the real Satoshi Nakamoto is depleting as of this very moment. There are a lot of impostors that are suddenly rising to the point most viewers are saying that they are a fraud. Then what if when the time comes, the real Satoshi will suddenly appear? Will the people take him/them seriously?

Least bothered and least interested.

Why these amazing individuals are trying their level best to be the founder of Bitcoin? Fame and money will only come when you are the one who did create the most promising cryptocurrency of the world.

It is simply a waste of time and money. They always get caught in the end. No one can imitate the founder.

To all those who still think they can get away with this, STOP! before its too late.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is going to fail since most of these fraudster are up to something. I don't know why we have to wait for part 2 or part 3 when in the end we all know that this is going to fail since someone will going to bust this fraudster soon.
A quick signed message of his own wallet is a solid evidence and there is no part 1, part 2 or part 3, end of the story.

I am interested with your thoughts tho.

this fake satoshi is crazy, let's look at what he said:

"Nakamoto" says he has become disillusioned with bitcoin because it's being used for criminal activity and has been "hijacked by greed."

then he said this:

I always believed in freedom and liberation of the commom man and tha's reason I began my bitcoin journey...

What is freedom?

Freedom is:

the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants.

it just shows that he is not satoshi, it is not possible that an intelligent person did not foresee that part of his creation would be used to commit crimes and part to do good things. anything anyone creates or invents has both sides (good and bad)

If someone who claims to be Satoshi can't sign a message using the genesis keys, then he/she is not Satoshi. Plus why would Satoshi want to resurface? He already left, and considered gone.

Even if someone ends up signing from the genesis block it doesn't mean that it is Satoshi. The key(s) could be in the hands of a government or someone who knew Satoshi from early on.

With all due respect, I honestly don't even care about Satoshi at this point anymore. It's not that Satoshi's appearance will do anything for Bitcoin, positively speaking. The only thing that makes Satoshi stand out is that the general consensus is that the signer of the genesis block with a high degree of certainty will have access to the rest of the hundreds of thousands of coins. It will lead to a massive sell-off.

I'm thankful for Satoshi to have left and never made a return. Best for him/her/them and the best for this ecosystem.

Satoshi Nakamoto is most popular 'unfamiliar' and anonymous celebrity of all time and anyone would do anything to be him and know who he is. Most reason you are seeing imposter trying to claim the glory.
For him being anonymous and leaving anyone guessing, sometime like this is expected to happen. And it will keep repeating itself.
When the real Satoshi emerge, people will just know it and  he don't have to prove himself much before he gain trust.

This time there is a new approach revealing the identity of Satoshi through live streaming. Here they've done it with a perfect planning and the robot too is given with the name Satoshi Nakaboto and the same will keep them all away from the personalities stating themselves to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

This has gained the attention of cryptocurrency users and it was the topic among most of the reddit users. Same time the average tweets about bitcoin on these days have decreased much compared to the other days. This claims that People haven't taken this a serious news as there is more satoshi's around.

Well, this is what I expect...nothing more nothing less. Actually, for all we know, this was just a promotional gimmick by somebody who got nothing much better to do so he (or maybe a group of people, I guess) concocted and adopted an old and tested strategy to catch many people's attention -- that of claiming that soon Satoshi will finally be revealing for the whole world to see and enjoy. Anyway, we should just be taking this as just a joke or a form of entertainment. Maybe they can do a movie based on this.

I've personally given up all hope/trust for anyone claiming to be the real Satoshi, and I haven't paid much attention to the rumours and news regarding him.

The real Satoshi will likely never reveal himself, it ruins the point of BTC, and it's much better to keep it a mystery. All of these fake people are trying to piggyback of his fame.

We've already moved forward from Satoshi, and his appearance now wouldn't change much things, he has a vision, and it's quite obvious he has succeeded in this vision.

We should keep this in mind, it'll be extremely hard to prove his identity and I doubt he'd ever bother coming back. Let's remember him for what he did, and not taint our image of him with these imposters saying ridiculous stuff.

Didn't need his reveal at all to learn about the good stuff like Hal Finney. Funny that he had to use pictures lifted from other publications instead of actual photos (since he was ready to share pics of his broken laptop).

Guys like him, CW, RV, I was actually okay with them doing their thing. I mean, it takes all sorts to spin the wheel. It's all the aspects of an ecosystem that makes it so special for Bitcoin.

But I start to wonder if their misinformation could harm newcomers. Then I'm not so okay with them any longer.

The funny thing about all these Faketoshi's are that they are trying so hard to prove that they are Satoshi and that the real Satoshi never tried to reveal his/her or their real identity. Do you think after what happened with Dorian Nakamoto and CW, it would be a good experience for anyone to go through to try and reveal your true identity?

The first people to knock on your door will be the tax authorities and the Federal reserve and then all the criminals in this world will start hunting you, because all of them wants to get their hands on those coins.  Roll Eyes

You should check out the Twitter account of this guy, that will immediately tell you he's completely fake.
https://twitter.com/SatoshiReveal

Saw some of his tweets in a thread on the Meta boards first, really disgusting stuff, where he's using Hal Finney's name for his fraud & is promoting weird projects.
The way he writes is completely different from Satoshi's original messages.

There's already a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi and we're used to seeing people like them that's why we don't easily believe. And I don't get what do they get from claiming they are Satoshi when no one's actually believing them. They're just wasting time making proofs and evidence with holes.
