So they are in it, I think I've heard about this news already before and since crypto is meant to compete against their system. Instead of beating it, they are now joining the crypto madness.
As expected, they can't ignore on how quick it is the progress of crypto worldwide.

Cryptocurrency was not going to defeat any payment system, and it does not have such an opportunity. An alternative means of payment, this does not necessarily mean fierce competition. The fact that the cryptocurrency will connect to payment cards is quite logical and logical. The 25000 transaction per second is not great choice for the traditional payment providers, their effectiveness is dying year by year. The given opportunities are the big threat for these companies, so they prefer to learn the blockchain technology before it was too late. I can't imagine the centralized banking system in 2021 in case of the mass adoption by the weighty technological companies. It was accelerated too quickly.

More and more big companies want to be involved to develop cryptocurrency and in my opinion this marks a new era of cryptocurrency adoption. We are really going there, so far this is the second company with a concrete plan to join and create their own Cryptocurrency, I just wonder will they faced similar opposition coming from the government, like what Facebook's libra coin suffered, and will they named it in a zodiac.
This is something worth looking forward to.
